“And when you tell this people all these words, and they say to you, ‘Why has the Lord pronounced all this great evil against us? What is our iniquity? What is the sin that we have committed against the Lord our God?’ 11 then you shall say to them: ‘Because your fathers have forsaken me, declares the Lord, and have gone after other gods and have served and worshiped them, and have forsaken me and have not kept my law, 12 and because you have done worse than your fathers, for behold, every one of you follows his stubborn, evil will, refusing to listen to me. 13 Therefore I will hurl you out of this land into a land that neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you shall serve other gods day and night, for I will show you no favor,” Jeremiah 16:10-13.
These verses from Jeremiah are hard to stomach. They remind us that while God is full of grace and mercy, there comes a point when he says, “Enough. Now the punishment comes.”
If you’re a parent you know that your children must be disciplined. We can grant them grace, but if that’s the only thing we ever give, they will walk all over us. It’s very rare for a child to change a bad or inappropriate behavior on their own. Sometimes, they have to lose something precious, in order to stop them in their tracks.
When it comes to God and the behavior of humans, the same concepts apply, but they are even more serious. Many people are saved by the grace of God through Jesus Christ, while countless others are unsaved and lost to sin. But all of them will bear earthly consequences for behavior that clearly and blatantly defies God’s commandments and laws.
Nations are populated by the people that God created–both saved and unsaved. Thus, a nation itself can bear consequences for bad behavior and decisions that defy biblical principles.
Some nations like China are governed as a godless state, and their way of life (communism) dramatically shows it.
Others, like India, are governed by those who worship many pagan gods, following religions which teach that animals/insects are reincarnated humans. Their lifestyle, which promotes a discriminatory caste system, fosters extreme poverty and neglect. Thus, India has become one of the dirtiest, most polluted nations on earth.
In the Middle East, where the majority of nations follow Islam, there is widespread violence, death, hunger, civil unrest and injustice. Women are treated as second class citizens and freedom of religion often does not exist.
Some countries, like many in Europe, as well as Canada, New Zealand and Australia, have some Christian roots, but they have eroded away over time. Slowly, globalism and tyranny have replaced their once free, democratic societies. The Covid plan-demic shined a light on this fact, as well as the Nazi-esque green energy policies being implemented in these places.
What About America?
America is a nation that was founded much differently than the rest of the world. Its Founding Fathers recognized the need for religious freedom, and its earliest settlers had a great reverence for God and his commandments. The Constitution of the United States specifically mentions God as the Creator, who guarantees humans certain inalienable rights. The founding of America was accomplished through God’s mighty hand and because of that, this nation would enjoy more freedom and liberty than any other country in the world. The blessings of God were evident as the USA became the world’s superpower, with a strong economy and a high standard of living. Its borders enjoyed peace and security.
But what happens when a superpower turns its back on God? What happens to the blessings bestowed upon it?
That brings us back to Jeremiah 16 (the verses listed at the beginning of this blogpost). The verses clearly say that when Israel (during biblical times) no longer revered and obeyed God, even forsaking Him, that He no longer showed them favor. Keep in mind that this judgement didn’t occur overnight–it happened after many generations of people turned their backs on God.
For their great iniquity, conquest and even exile would come to their homeland.
This proved to be true, starting when the Kingdom of Judah (Israel) was captured by the Babylonians in 586 B.C. Consequently, the walls of Jerusalem were breached, the Temple was destroyed and the city walls were torn down. The people who survived the siege were taken into captivity in Babylon, where for seventy years they would have to serve a pagan, godless nation.
Israel would return to their land after the seventy years, but they would face judgment once again in 70 A.D., when the Romans sacked Jerusalem and destroyed the rebuilt second Temple. After this, the Jewish people would be scattered across the world. They would face pogroms, inquisitions and holocausts as they lived among the Gentile nations for centuries. But as he promised, God’s anger and judgment would not last forever. He would restore His people and they would eventually return to their biblical land. In 1948 Israel would once again become a nation, living in the places they had inhabited thousands of years ago. There is an even greater restoration coming for Israel and the world. This will happen when Jesus steps foot on the Mount of Olives and ushers in the Millennial Kingdom.
So, what does this have to do with America? After all, we aren’t Israel.
That is true. We are not Israel.
Unlike Israel, which has a covenant with God when it comes to their land, the United States of America has not been given such a promise. Our nation is not listed among land covenants in Genesis, Numbers, Deuteronomy or Jeremiah. We are not told, as Abraham was, that “to your descendants I give this land.”
The United States has not been told:
Thus says the Lord,
who gives the sun for light by day
and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night,
who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—
the Lord of hosts is his name:
“If this fixed order departs
from before me, declares the Lord,
then shall the offspring of Israel cease
from being a nation before me forever.”
Thus says the Lord:
“If the heavens above can be measured,
and the foundations of the earth below can be explored,
then I will cast off all the offspring of Israel
for all that they have done,
declares the Lord.”
God has promised the nation of Israel that they will never cease being a nation before him.
Certainly, America was created through God’s divine providence–this is true.
But the Bible does not say that our nation will never cease to exist. Our land is not compared to the fixed order of the stars. We aren’t promised we will stand forever.
As the people in our nation reject God through the iniquities of abortion, gay marriage, transgenderism, pedophilia, pornography, climate worship and many others, we have set ourselves in a position of judgment.
Additionally, there are treaties and agreements our nation has participated in that could only add to this judgment.
Thankfully, we have millions praying for our country. We have a remnant of true followers who love Jesus and his commandments. No matter what, we must continue to intercede for our nation’s iniquities.
National Iniquities Invite Judgment
Right now, our nation is experiencing an INVASION.
Our borders are being breached.
There is no other way to say it. Immigrants (which include drug dealers, sex traffickers and terrorists) are entering our country at rates so high that it would take an army to stop them.
Speaker of the House Mike Johnson said it best in a speech he gave on January 31, 2024 to the House First Floor– Below I am posting excerpts from it- I suggest you listen to his speech in full HERE to get all the details.

Again, that was only part of his speech. I suggest listening to the rest to understand how catastrophic this is!
It goes without saying that the invasion of our nation is a DELIBERATE attempt to overtake and destroy our country. Even more horrible is the fact that our own government (the Biden Administration in league with the “One World” globalists) is making this happen. Like the Tower of Babel, where men sought to become ONE, their goal is to remove national borders and boundaries.
No one wants to hear this, but has it ever occurred to anyone that this invasion is a sign of judgment on our nation? After all, it is an INTENTIONAL breach which is so grievous that it targets our nation’s wealth, and the security of our people. It targets our livelihoods and children.
Keep in mind that I am not saying all immigrants are bad and that we should never let immigrants in. But it should be done legally through a vetting process. This is not what’s being done.
Instead, it’s a deliberate conquest that is backed by Marxism/communism. Currently, there are scores of Chinese nationals pouring into our nation as well.
Yes, this invasion is being doled out by demonically inspired people who want the downfall of America.
Yet we must understand that enemies are used to bring judgement on a nation.
If our nation didn’t have policies that support the murder of innocent babies up to their birth, I might not think this. If our nation didn’t support a hundred different genders, I might not be typing this. If our nation’s current government (Biden Administration) didn’t support a Palestinian state and the division of Jerusalem, I wouldn’t be as concerned.
I am not saying to give up on America. I would never write that. What I am saying is that we must PRAY like we’ve never prayed before. Certainly, I am NOT a prophet who can tell the future. Nevertheless, I don’t like what I am seeing and one would have to be completely asleep to not notice what’s going on with our borders.
Actually, most people wouldn’t want to be a prophet in biblical times. They were hated by the people because they said things nobody wanted to hear. I have great respect for prophets like Jeremiah for doing what God told them to do, despite the consequences.
As a reader of the Bible, I do know that it says our greatest hope is the return of Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. So, no matter what happens to America, I have that secure promise in my heart. That is why I wrote Hallelujah’s Great Ride, which reminds us that one day Jesus will return on his white horse and make all things new! He will bring true justice to this warped world.
The October 14, 2023 Annular Solar Eclipse
I don’t know if anyone was paying attention, but we had an annular solar eclipse, also known as a “ring of fire,” on October 14, 2023 that made its way across North, Central and South America, touching down in at least 10 countries. Every person living in the United States was able to view a partial eclipse (except those in Northwest Alaska) while others in certain states experienced a full view.
The eclipse’s path raced across the U.S. states of Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. From there it made its way through Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Columbia and Brazil. I actually viewed the eclipse from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I wrote about that HERE. The eclipse occurred just a week after the horrific October 7 attacks in Israel and I remember feeling overwhelmed when I left for the trip.
This particular eclipse passed through some of America’s most beautiful national parks and monuments. Its shadow fell on many western states, leaving the United States through Corpus Christi, Texas. The words “Corpus Christi” means Body of Christ.
Something important to note about of this particular eclipse is its specific path through Texas. It actually bisected the state, allowing anyone in the middle of the path to see the Sun’s ring of fire for five minutes. In fact, the shadow passed through a city that has been at the forefront when it comes to illegal immigration and the deliberate invasion of our country. The border town of Eagle Pass was literally on the border of this eclipse, as it made its way through the United States of America. Here is a link showing the path through Texas.
Eagle Pass, as well as many other cities in Texas, are at the forefront when it comes to the invasion and “conquest” we are experiencing.
A recent video shows Texas Governor Gregg Abbot doing a press conference in Eagle Pass about how they are trying to place barriers in places that were left completely open for immigrants to enter the U.S. He is speaking from Shelby Park, which has been taken over by the Texas National Guard. Previously, in this park located in Eagle Pass, you might see 3000 to 4000 people crossing through the area.
For reference, Texas has built more deterrents than any other state–such as walls and razor wire barricades–in an effort to keep illegals out. Even though Texas represents about 2/3 of the border between the U.S. and Mexico, they experience about 30% of the crossings, versus states like New Mexico, California and Arizona, which have 70% of the illegal crossings. That’s because Texas is one of the few states with leaders who actually try to secure the border. But the Biden Administration is DELIBERATELY trying to keep Texas from protecting its own borders which of course, are UNITED STATES BORDERS. Governor Abbot and the Texas National Guard are challenging Biden and the globalist plan of invasion by putting up as many barricades as possible.
A trucker convoy protesting the U.S. immigrant invasion recently headed to several states, including Texas. The convoy’s organizers peacefully protested the Biden Administration’s policies, and rallied in the border cities of Eagle Pass, Texas; Yuma, Arizona; and San Ysidro, California.
Interestingly enough, the convoy began in Hampton Roads at the Virginia Beach– Norfolk line. Why? Because the organizers wanted to commemorate the First Landing spot at Cape Henry in Virginia Beach. This is where the first permanent English settlers in America set up a cross before heading to the James River to settle at Jamestown. I actually went to that spot a few years ago. “That’s where our founders first stepped foot on this continent and dedicated this land to Jesus Christ, and the gospel would go forth from this land,” said organizer Craig Hudgins before the convoy departed Monday from the Norfolk Premium Outlets. This has come out of it, this has flowed from it.”
Of course, News media portrayed Hudgins and others as “Christian Nationalists” or “far-right” conservatives. It is obvious, as I said before, that the invasion is purposeful and deliberate. Just like the Nazis, who used the media to further their agenda, those who want to breach our borders use the same tactics.

Back in 2016 a friend sent me an amazing picture taken in my neighborhood. See below.
It was a beautiful eagle that was spreading out its wings while perched atop an electrical pole. I received the picture in September 2016– about two months before the November 2016 elections. Our nation was experiencing the most division I had ever seen up to that point. Of course, that division has continued up to this very day and gotten much worse.
When I read about Eagle Pass, Texas and the problems we are having there, the picture of this eagle pops into my mind. After all, America’s national bird is the eagle.
One of my favorite verses featuring the eagle is Isaiah 40:31 which says, “Those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not faint.”
As we experience the consequences of this border breach, I believe we must put our trust in the Lord. We must stay under the wings of Jesus knowing that come what may, he is with us. Even if our nation is experiencing a shaking, we are secure with Him.
Texas is Making History
It is important to note that Texas will be making solar eclipse history. The Lone Star State experienced an annular solar eclipse on October 14, 2023. But it will experience another solar eclipse—this one being a total solar eclipse–on April 8, 2024. That means two solar eclipses, each one occurring within six months of the other, will touch Texas land. (Click here to see the path through Texas of the April 8, 2024 eclipse).
GreatAmericanEclipse.com declares, “This is a rare and exceptional circumstance for any particular spot on Earth.” The April 8, 2024 eclipse will actually make its debut at the border town of Eagle Pass.
The paths of both of these eclipses (October 14, 2023 and April 8, 2024) create an X over Texas, intersecting in the cities of Rocksprings, Junction, Fredericksburg, Kerrville, Bandera, Utopia, Vanderpool, Uvalde and San Antonio. The Alamo’s website states, “Located in the heart of downtown San Antonio, the Alamo is the best place to watch the upcoming solar eclipses. San Antonio will be in the direct viewing path for both the annular solar eclipse on Saturday October 14, 2023, and the total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024.”
The Alamo is where a standoff happened on February 23, 1836, lasting through March 6, 1836. The History Channel describes it this way:
“On February 23, a Mexican force numbering in the thousands and led by General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna began a siege of the fort. Though vastly outnumbered, the Alamo’s 200 defenders–commanded by James Bowie and William Travis and including the famed frontiersman Davy Crockett—held out for 13 days before the Mexican forces finally overpowered them. For Texans, the Battle of the Alamo became an enduring symbol of their resistance to oppression and their struggle for independence, which they won later that year. The battle cry of ‘remember the Alamo’ later became popular during the Mexican-American War of 1846-1848.”
Here we are in the month of February–188 years later– and we are involved in a standoff. It involves all kinds of immigrants from many different countries, but they are coming in through Mexico. Actually we are really in a standoff with the Biden Administration and the globalists who are allowing this to happen. The immigrants are not our enemies, but rather those who go above the law to allow them into our nation illegally. They do not bother to check if they are trafficking innocent women and children. They don’t care if terrorists come in. They are not monitoring drug smugglers. There are just too many to process and vet.
I find it interesting that not one, but two solar eclipses will be passing over the Alamo within six months of each other. One of my favorite expressions is, “What are the chances?”
As far as the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse, the entire eclipse will bisect the nation. It will travel through Mexico and then enter the United States via Texas (at Eagle Pass) and exit through Maine. It continues its journey by sliding over the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador. That means its path ends not far from where the Titanic sank in 1912. Hmm, the park where Governor Abbot spoke from recently–Shelby Park–was established the same year–1912.
Something else to ponder is the fact that the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse is hitting only North America by crossing through Mexico, the United States and then Canada. This is why it’s being called The Great North American Eclipse.
On January 10, 2023 the White House posted the Declaration of North America. Within the document it advocates that Mexico, the United States and Canada must work in unity to tackle climate change, diversity, equity, inclusion, racial justice and LGBTQI+ initiatives, even saying this is all part of “the North American DNA.” It appears that the goal is to merge all three countries together through globalist narratives. This includes borders as well.
The date of the eclipse, April 8, coincides with some other historical events worth pondering. A Senate.gov website states that “On April 8, 1864, the Senate took the first crucial step toward the constitutional abolition of slavery. Before a packed gallery, a strong coalition of 30 Republicans, four border-state Democrats, and four Union Democrats joined forces to pass the amendment 38 to 6. In the months that followed, two test votes failed in the House and the amendment was sidelined by the national election. Then, in December, representatives convened a lame duck session to renew the debate. This set the stage for action in January of 1865 by the newly reelected Abraham Lincoln.”
A year later, it was on April 8, 1865 that the last battle of the Civil War was fought at Appomattox Station. The following day, the Confederates would surrender at Appomattox, officially ending the war.
Of course, we all know what happened next. Abraham Lincoln was shot on April 14, 1865 and then died of his injuries on April 15. Back in 2014, there was a total lunar eclipse on Passover that fell on the 149th anniversary of Lincoln’s death. It was also the 102nd anniversary of Titanic’s sinking in 1912.
The Civil War was a time of great division. Bother fought brother. A nation fought against itself. But a great evil called slavery had to be abolished.
In 2024 we see ourselves at a crossroads. We are just as divided, if not more, than the times of the Civil War. A lot of this division has to do with the fact that as a nation, we have rejected the God who allowed us to become a superpower in the first place. Nowadays many follow the god of pride and self. Instead of “In God We Trust,” the motto has become “Do As Thou Will.” That is the motto of Satan, and as the King of self-love, he seeks to divide, steal, kill and destroy. When the people of our nation follow his motto, they end up in slavery– a spiritual bondage that eclipses their heart with a giant shadow.
It’s scary to say this, but just as the Civil War ended with an assassination, it is possible that there are evil plans to do it once again. Keep in mind that World War 1 began with an assassination. I am not saying this will happen, but I would be praying about it. An assassination of any candidate would cause major civil unrest.

This eclipse bisected the nation as shown on this link, and only touched United States land—this is why it was called the Great American Total Solar Eclipse. It happened on the first day of Elul on the biblical calendar, which is the month of repentance. It is interesting because President Trump’s name was a reminder for our nation to repent of its national sins (particularly abortion, LBGTQ agenda, pornography, sex trafficking, drug trade, etc). In the Bible, the trumpet was used at the month of Elul to hearken people to wake up and repent.
As you can see, there are some interesting connections with these eclipses. I am not predicting anything, but rather I believe it’s a reminder to pray for our nation. God uses the sun, moon and stars to point to his glory and sovereignty. Solar eclipses have long been viewed as signs to the nations. We cannot predict any particular events of course. But a shadow going over our land reminds us to seek our Creator in times of trouble and turn away from darkness.
Before finishing this blog, I want to explain a few things about the United States and its relationship to Israel. Many people are not aware of what I will share, but it’s important to understand when it comes to our nation and judgment.
Right now, the Biden Administration is pushing for a two-state solution where Jerusalem would be divided. That is just plain BAD for America. God clearly tells us NOT TO DIVIDE HIS LAND.
Joel 3:2 says “I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.”
“And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” Zechariah 12:3
“And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.”Zechariah 12:9
Biden and his administration are no friend to Israel and they have continually supported the Hamas/Palestinian Authority gravy train of terrorism. They have sided with Israel’s enemies and condemned Israel instead of supporting the only democratic nation in the Middle East.
In contrast, President Trump was a strong friend of Israel. He visited and prayed at the Western Wall. He recognized Jerusalem as their capital, and also recognized their right of sovereignty over the Golan Heights. He withdrew the U.S. from the nuclear accord with Iran. He stood up for Israel’s right to protect themselves from terrorists.
Unfortunately, on his watch the Abraham Accords were brokered through his son in law Jared Kushner. They were signed on September 15, 2020, which was a little over a month before the rigged elections of November 2020. While many people hailed the Abraham Accords as a blessing which would move the Middle Eastern Nations toward peace and prosperity, the truth is that this agreement has some major flaws when it comes to the sovereignty of Israel’s land.
Bill Koenig, a former White House correspondent and an expert on Middle East politics, has written several articles detailing what went wrong in these accords. For background, Mr. Koenig has studied what happens when the governments of nations attempt to divide the land of Israel. In his book, Eye to Eye: Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel, he chronicles events and disasters that have resulted from unwise negotiations and “peace deals.” Mr. Koenig is a supporter of President Trump, but is deeply concerned about what is actually in the Abraham Accords.

Below is what he lists as the main issues in the accords:
- “The Abraham Accords stop Israel’s rightful plan to extend sovereignty. The United Arab Emirates said they were told no annexation discussions until 2024 or later. This week at the U.N. the UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed stated two states based on pre-1967 lines, meaning almost all of Judea and Samaria. He said normalization was done to stop Israeli annexation.”
- “Moreover, this leaves 132 settlement communities and 12 Jewish enclaves in the state of flux after Netanyahu promises, not knowing if Trump will be re-elected. Plus, Ambassador Friedman said this week that sovereignty efforts could be revisited in a year while Kushner continues to push that date off— if ever. Kushner is determined to do more normalization deals and doesn’t want annexation to get in the way. His justification is that no one (settler) will be forced from their home.”
- “The Abraham Accords acknowledged the U.N. in sections 8, 9 and 12. This keeps the U.N. in a central role and gives the 54 Muslim nations and others in the U.N. the opportunity to continually pass biased anti-Israel resolutions, etc.”
- “The Abraham Accords continued the two-state narrative. In the last two weeks every Middle East Sunni country stated in their annual U.N. General Assembly messages their full backing of the Arab Peace Initiative of 2002 based on pre-1967 lines.”
- “The Abraham Accords has revived, elevated and legitimized the Arab Peace Initiative of 2002 to the most acceptable Sunni plan, which is based on U.N. Resolutions 242 and 338. It calls for Palestinian refugees to be relocated to a future Palestinian state.”
Just because the possibility of a Palestinian state is listed inside the Abraham Accords doesn’t mean that it will come to fruition. If President Trump is elected again, I pray he would not allow a Palestinian state to come into existence for any reason– the massacre of October 7 by the Palestinian terrorists should make it obvious that giving them their own state would be a horrible idea.
If the senile Biden is elected again, or whoever replaces him as a globalist puppet, the two-state solution will be pushed relentlessly. The Arab nations and the globalists (“One Worlders”) work hand in hand to pursue total control over wealth and sovereignty. No matter what happens, Americans should never support dividing Israel’s land.
A lot is going to unfold in 2024 and this is going to be a year when all Christians need to pray without ceasing.
The globalists are playing a lot of cards right now and much of their game involves land. But in the end, the only one who owns every square inch of the land on earth is Jesus Christ.
It seems like everything is falling apart, but the truth is that it’s all falling into place. Jesus has a plan to rule the nations with a rod of iron and IT WILL HAPPEN.
As Christians we must play our part by standing against darkness and bringing many souls to Christ. No one knows the day or the hour, but we know Jesus is standing right at the door.
