67 Owls is a website devoted to revealing amazing things about Israel and the United States. Through monthly posts, 67 owls helps you understand the link between our two nations, as well as how God has used them to reveal his plan. It also takes you through the history of both nations, and explains the profound significance of Jerusalem. In addition, the site will share historical information about the United States, and link it with today’s current political issues. I will offer insights into the prophetic implications of world events and how they affect our nation (This is not predicting, but rather looking at the season we are in as a nation and what the Bible says about it).
I will also share testimonies and stories about what God is doing in my life, and reveal the amazing symbolism God uses in his word. I will tie in the Hebraic roots of the Bible to help you see how the Jew and Gentile form the “one new man.”
As the author of 67 Owls I will share not only history, but the incredible signs God uses to wake us up. He is waking up our nation right now. He is calling out to a remnant of people who will stand in the gap for his ancient people. I consider myself one of those people. The Bible says in the last days Israel will be a stumbling block to the whole world. But as the people of God we are not to follow what the world does. We are to follow what God says.
I’m not a biblical scholar. I’m a mother, a teacher and by God’s grace an author. I have spent the last eight years studying the Feasts of the Lord, as well as biblical prophecy, current events in the U.S. and Israel, as well as the Hebraic roots of the Bible. I’m not a preacher, and I’m not a celebrity. But I know what the Lord has shown me. In the Bible God spoke to common everyday people. He spoke to fisherman and tax collectors. God does not change. He still speaks to people of all races and social classes.
I know the time is here. The time to stand with Israel and the Jewish people is now. The tetrad of blood moons that occurred in 2014 and 2015 on Jewish feasts are just one clue. The 70th anniversary of Israel reforming as a nation just passed on May 14, 2018. The United States also recognized Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Israel. Let me just say that this is HUGE in terms of prophecy!
The timing of everything is up to God. But no matter what God’s timing is, as Christians we have a duty to stand with God and what he wants for the nation of Israel. God longs to redeem his ancient people. This idea of redemption is spread throughout the Old and New Testament. As Romans 11:26 says, “All Israel shall be saved.” Just like the story of Joseph and his brothers, a grand reunion and redemption is on the horizon. Like the prodigal son, Israel will turn back to their father, and to his son- the true redeemer, Jesus Christ.
The world says Israel needs to give into political pressure. The world says they need to give away their biblical land. Yet, this is not what the Bible says. God’s promises to the Jewish people are irrevocable, which includes their land. God’s covenant with them still stands. As Christians we must remember, “Greater is he who is in me, than he who is in the world.” Don’t follow what the world says about Israel. Follow what God says. Through 67 Owls you will learn about God’s plan for Israel, and how the United States can play a part.
Why 67? Why Owls? The 67 comes from 1967, which is the year Israel reclaimed East Jerusalem in the Six Days War. On 6-7-67, Israel, by claiming East Jerusalem, was able to unite the city of Jerusalem (east and west). It was also the year of a blood moon lunar tetrad (1967-1968) which occurred on Passover and Tabernacles in both years. A tetrad of four blood moons just passed in 2014, 2015, occurring on Passover and Tabernacles as well. If you read my book What are the Chances? you will see more fascinating ties to 67. I use owls because they are raptors. They catch their prey mid-air. The prey never knows they are being snatched. The Bible mentions a special event called the Rapture, or a “catching away” of the Bride of Christ. This is when the Lord’s people will literally be snatched away in the blink of an eye. I wrote a book in 2017 called Blink, A Story about the Rapture, that shows the amazing tie of the Lord’s Feasts to the Rapture. No one knows when the Rapture will take place, but we must always be on alert for the return of Jesus. Much like the owl and other raptors, we must have our eyes and ears open, always looking at the events taking place around us. We are to always be ready for the return of our Savior. According to the Bible we will be changed in the blink of an eye.
My most recent book, Psalm 91: Under the Wings of Jesus will take you on a journey through Psalm 91 and show you how Jesus will always keep his people under his protective “wings.” As the world gets darker, everyone needs to remember this amazing truth.
STATEMENT OF FAITH:
I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. God’s word is infallible and without error. The Bible is the final authority on how we should live and behave, and it is the final authority when it comes to faith.
I believe God is the Creator of all things and he exists in three persons: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit (Trinity).
I believe Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God and he came to Earth through a great miracle known as the virgin birth. Jesus became a man and endured the hardships of being human on Earth. Even though he was human, he was sinless. Jesus became a man, but at the same time he was also God. He came to Earth to reveal God to us, and to die on the cross for the sins of the world. He became the perfect, unblemished lamb who was slain. He became the sacrifice for us on the cross, and bore the curses of mankind. After he died on the cross, he was buried, but he rose on the third day. He defeated sin and death! He is now exalted at the right hand of the Father in heaven.
Jesus defeated sin through his death, burial and resurrection. He gives a gift to all those who receive him as Messiah. This gift is the Holy Spirit and it dwells within all those who put their faith and trust in Jesus. The Holy Spirit ministers to believers and convicts them of sin. He encourages them and gives spiritual gifts to be used in the Kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit is the believer’s seal in Christ Jesus.
Salvation is given to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This is made possible through Jesus’ blood, shed on the cross. A new birth occurs when a believer receives Christ and they are now set apart for the work of his Kingdom.
Jesus will return to the Earth and fully redeem it. This time is set by the Father in Heaven. The Bride of Christ awaits his glorious return, but until then we are to finish the race (work) that is set before us. Maranatha! Come, Lord Jesus Come.
Note: Most of the photos posted on my webpage are photos I have personally taken. The feature photo is from Zion National Park in Utah. I traveled there back in 2012. Right after this trip I began my journey into the connections between Israel and the United States. This is quite fitting since Zion is another name for Israel.
