The April 8, 2024 Total Solar Eclipse- Part 2

The April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse shadow finally made its debut. I watched it from my home state of Florida with my solar eclipse glasses.

Usually, I travel to the path of totality, but this year I wasn’t able to make the trip. From Orlando I had a partial view, which was still pretty awesome. Below is a picture I took with my phone of the eclipse.

Next, are some pictures taken from Texas. The first one was taken before totality, while the other was taken when the sun was completely covered (during totality).

I wish I had taken the picture you see below. It’s the beautiful diamond ring that formed during the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse. This was taken in Texas as well (photo credit: Wendell Brown).

Some people were expecting the country to vaporize on this date, but of course that didn’t happen. Others thought a major catastrophic event could unfold. Thankfully, that did not occur.

Regardless of all the theories about this particular solar eclipse, I do believe there were some spiritual implications. I shared many of them in my previous blogpost. Personally, I believe the United States could be under judgement based on how our nation is supporting abortion, LGBTQ lifestyles, child porn, sex and drug trafficking, and earth worship (climate change policies). To its great detriment, our country is also turning its back on Israel—I will explain more about this later.

There are other things I didn’t write in the previous post because it was already very, very long.

In this post, however, I’m going to share some information about what the Holy Spirit laid on my heart before, during and after the eclipse.

The April 8, 2024 Total Solar Eclipse Arrived During the Biblical Month of Nisan

To be more specific, the eclipse fell on the first day of Nisan.

Nisan on the biblical calendar commemorates the time of the Passover, when the angel of death “passed over” the homes of the Israelites who had marked their doors with the blood of an innocent lamb. The Passover Seder dinner commences on Nisan 14 and celebrates the deliverance of God’s people from their slavery in Egypt. The Passover points to Jesus the Messiah, who was crucified over a thousand years later on Nisan 14 as the Passover lamb.

This might seem confusing, but this year “Easter” was celebrated a month before Passover on the biblical calendar. This is because Christian churches follow a different calendar than the original Hebrew (Jewish) calendar. Some years, Easter and Passover fall close to each other, but this year (2024), they were almost a month apart.

Easter in the Christian churches was celebrated on March 31, 2024, whereas Passover, which includes First Fruits (the biblical name for the day that Jesus rose from the dead) was celebrated April 22 through April 30. First Fruits (also called “Easter”) fell on April 27, 2024. Here is an article that explains why these dates are different….

You can celebrate Jesus’s resurrection at either time. I enjoy observing it on both allotted dates.

The eclipse arriving on the first day of Nisan made me think of the Exodus story, and how God delivered his people from slavery. More on that later in the blog….

Before and After the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse darkened our nation on the first day of Nisan, some disturbing things happened.

First of all, a week before the eclipse, the Biden Administration declared March 31, 2024 as National Transgender Day of Visibility.

Honestly, when I read the “visibility” proclamation below, I wanted to disappear! This is crazy! Read an excerpt below.

“NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility.  I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.”

To make matters worse, this declaration happened on the very day that churches around the world were celebrating Resurrection Day (Easter).  The Biden regime has said that the date for this recognition was not purposefully chosen. They cite the fact that Easter (Resurrection Day) doesn’t fall on March 31 every year.

Don’t fall for that lie because they know good and well that Easter (on the Christian calendar) will always fall sometime near this date. Additionally, the Jewish month of Nisan is when Passover and First Fruits (Resurrection Day) are celebrated on the Hebrew biblical calendar and this will always fall in March or April, depending on the year. The truth is that they deliberately picked a date that coincided with the Lord’s resurrection from the dead. Sadly, we know that the LGBTQ agenda is very much like a religion because it’s a belief system that people adhere to and follow as a group.

This year we saw the LGBTQ “religion” trying to overshadow the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which is the most important belief in Christianity.

The fact that Transgender Visibility Day fell on Resurrection Day this year seems to be a blatant indicator of how confused and sinful our country has become. The solar eclipse shadow bisecting our entire nation a week after this “Day of Visibility” is a reminder of the darkness found within many hearts. The overwhelming truth is that those who are caught up in the LGBTQ lifestyle need prayer. A system of propaganda and indoctrination is driving the movement, which is preying on our youth. We must pray that the demonic forces which have people in chains would be defeated.

Just read what else Biden put in the White House proclamation:

“But extremists are proposing hundreds of hateful laws that target and terrify transgender kids and their families — silencing teachers; banning books; and even threatening parents, doctors, and nurses with prison for helping parents get care for their children. These bills attack our most basic American values:  the freedom to be yourself, the freedom to make your own health care decisions, and even the right to raise your own child.  It is no surprise that the bullying and discrimination that transgender Americans face is worsening our Nation’s mental health crisis, leading half of transgender youth to consider suicide in the past year.”

My response:   WHAT A BOLD-FACED LIE!

The reason teachers are being “silenced” is because many of them are exposing young children to pornographic subjects, such as how to have regular sex, “gay sex,” and oral sex.  No one is banning books! The books being removed are ones that have inappropriate information inside which teach kids to have sex, orgies and to explore their sexuality/gender in degrading ways.

I can speak from experience because the school my son used to attend removed a teacher for having a pornographic book in her classroom called This Book is Gay. I read through the book and I thought I was going to throw up. The book explained how to have sex with multiple partners, how to perform oral sex, the “ins and outs of gay sex,” anal sex, how to massage a partner’s anal glands, and how to hook up online. There are other graphic things in that book, but I am too embarrassed to write about them here.

If you don’t believe me, go check the book out. The teacher had it in her classroom library and claimed it was valuable reading material! That is completely INSANE! This is just one of many pornographic books that are in school libraries. If all the above weren’t enough, President Biden had the nerve to say in his proclamation that people are threatening doctors! Let’s get this straight– Right now, members of our own government are pushing the idea that men and women can change their sex. They don’t stop at adults though. They support surgeries for children who want to change their sex as well. This could include cutting body parts off, or having children take dangerous hormones that can cause cancer. Doctors should have nothing to do with this. Any medical professional who thinks it’s ok to encourage and help young kids mutilate their body needs to have their medical license removed.

By the way, the disturbing truth is that transgenderism is related to pedophilia and by promoting this lifestyle, our nation is paving the path to the egregious sins that God punished in Sodom and Gomorrah with fire and brimstone. Keep in mind that pedophilia was part of the lifestyle in this wicked place that God destroyed.  (Watch this podcast about lies of the transgender movement.)

If people think our nation will not be judged for doing this, they are living in another universe.  God made humans MALE or FEMALE. We cannot change our sex with surgery or hormones!

A nation that rejects God’s design for humanity will reap what they sow. 

Romans 1 covers a lot of bases when it comes to depraved thinking. Believing that there are 20 different genders certainly fits this category.

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.  For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.  Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

Therefore, God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise, also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;  being filled with all unrighteousness,  sexual immorality, wickedness,  covetousness,  maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,  backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,  undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.”

Interpretation:

When people reject God and refuse to give him honor and glory, then the Lord gives mankind over to a debased, depraved, reprobate mind. In the Greek, this word reprobate means a worthless mind. This is not a good thing because it points to a mind that cannot reason or think clearly. Those who live with this mentality cannot see the scientific reality that a man cannot become a woman and a woman cannot become a man! If you look at the long list of sins in this verse, you will see that rejecting God, as well as his plan for creation, will lead to nothing but lies and perversion.

I think you get the point, but just understand that we are living in a nation that is celebrating SIN and even being PRIDEFUL about it. We are so prideful that we have an entire month to celebrate LGBTQ pride and a whole day devoted to “lifting up” people who have rejected God’s design for their bodies.

Do you know how many New York landmarks were lit up for Transgender Visibility Day? Let’s name just some of them: One World Trade Center, Brooklyn Borough Hall, the Manhattan Municipal Building, the Empire State Building, Niagara Falls, Albany International Airport Gateway, the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge and others.

Did you know that New York City was our nation’s first capital? George Washington dedicated our nation to God not far from where the One World Trade Center is now located. This happened on April 30, 1789.

Now, in this very area where our land was consecrated, we have buildings being lit up to celebrate sin and make it visible to all.

God will not bless our nation if we keep rejecting his image for humankind and indoctrinating our kids to believe there are endless numbers of genders.

Unfortunately, the Transgender Day of Visibility wasn’t the only thing that happened near the eclipse date. About two weeks before the shadow darkened our land, several crucial things occurred that involved Israel and the United States.

The United States Turns its back on Israel Before and After the April 8, 2024 Eclipse

On March 22, 2024, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned Israel they needed to stand down when it came to defending their land against Hamas. He threatened them with “global isolation” if they continued their operations against the same terrorists who invaded Israel in October and slaughtered over 1,200 people, taking upwards of 200 hostages. Many of those hostages have still not been released.

Interestingly enough, the day after Blinken gave this warning, “the sun unleashed a 1.1 magnitude X-class solar flare — the most powerful type of explosion the sun can produce. This blast was unusual because it was made up of two simultaneous explosions, known as a sympathetic solar flare, ejected by a pair of sunspots (AR3614 and AR3615) separated by hundreds of thousands of miles,” Spaceweather.com reported. 

“The tandem explosion launched a massive cloud of plasma and radiation into space, known as a coronal mass ejection (CME), that barreled into Earth’s magnetosphere.” 

On March 24, 2024 Vice President Kamala Harris gave her own warning to Israel, even saying they would face consequences such as arms embargoes and international isolation if they continued with their operations to flush out Hamas.

This all culminated into what happened at the United Nations on March 25, 2024— The UN Security Council unanimously passed a resolution demanding an Israeli ceasefire from March 25 through APRIL 8 (don’t forget that April 8 is when the total solar eclipse crossed America).   Basically, they wanted Israel to let Hamas and its band of murderers celebrate Ramadan. Hmm, when the October 7 massacre happened it was during the Jewish biblical holiday known as the Feast of Tabernacles. That sure didn’t stop Hamas and many Palestinians living in Gaza from murdering women, babies, children, grandmothers, grandfathers and any Jewish person they could find.

In this historic vote at the UN, the United States DID NOT support Israel’s right to defend itself. Instead, it abstained from the vote, rather than using its veto.

Two significant things happened right after this betrayal:

·      A worldwide geomagnetic storm hit causing massive disruptions in the earth’s magnetic field.

·      Then, the very next day, the Francis Scott Key Bridge over Baltimore harbor collapsed after being struck by a cargo ship whose GUIDANCE SYSTEM MAY HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY THE GEOMAGNETIC STORM.

THE STAR SPANGLED BANNER—HOW IS IT RELATED?

Keep in mind that the bridge which collapsed is named for Francis Scott Key- the man who penned the words to the Star-Spangled Banner.  Key was watching the bombardment of Fort McHenry from a ship moored in Baltimore during the War of 1812— basically where the Key Bridge was.  As the “dawn’s early light” broke, Key was elated that America had not succumbed to the British forces. In fact, when he saw that beautiful American flag still waving over the fort at morning’s first light, he began to write our nation’s national anthem.

Do you see the symbolism here?  The United States was attacked during the War of 1812. They were fighting the British once again after having already won their independence many years before. The United States defended itself and won the battle.

But 212 years later, the United States is telling Israel she SHOULD NOT defend herself, thus letting the enemy have its way. Right after threatening Israel with this ultimatum, the bridge named for America’s national anthem collapses.

This decision to stab Israel in the back will not sit well with God. America’s actions are poking God in the eye. Right now, the leaders of America (the Biden Admin) are pointing their fingers at the wrong country. They should be pointing their fingers at the real culprits— terrorist regimes like those in Gaza, Iran, Tukey, Lebanon, and Syria to name a few.

Israel Attacked on Titanic’s Anniversary

The UN vote was bad enough. But on April 14, 2024, just six days after the total solar eclipse that made an X over U.S. land, Israel was attacked by Iran. In an unprecedented act of war, Iran launched at least 100 military drones at Israeli cities, as well as 120 ballistic missiles and 30 cruise missiles.  Thanks be to God that the majority of them were intercepted. A few crossed into Israeli territory, but caused no major damage. This attack occurred on the same date the Titanic struck a massive iceberg in 1912. At 11:40 p.m. on April 14, the Titanic’s hull was breached.

The April 14, 2024, attack was an ACT OF WAR. It was a massive breach.  Not only were Israeli citizens brutally massacred on October 7, 2023, but on this Titanic day, they were targeted by hundreds of deadly weapons (“icebergs”). 

We now have intel saying that PRESIDENT BIDEN knew beforehand about the attack and in fact, he greenlit Iran’s operation.

An article in WND explains:

“‘Within certain limits.’ That was the caution Joe Biden gave to Iran just before it attacked Israel with drones, missiles and more, essentially allowing the act of war, mounting evidence is revealing.”

It was Reuters who reported  that a diplomatic source said Iran told Turkey about the plans to attack, and “Washington had conveyed to Tehran via Ankara that any action it took had to be ‘within certain limits.’”

Reuters said the Turkish source, speaking on conditions of anonymity, confirmed “Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had spoken to both his U.S. and Iranian counterparts … to discuss the planned Iranian operation, adding Ankara had been made aware of possible developments.”

If this information is true, and I believe it is, that means the United States sided with Iran and allowed the attack to happen. 

The total eclipse’s shadow split our nation in half just six days before this major act of treachery.

Six is the number of man and I can tell you one thing— if the United States allowed this, the “men” and women who were complicit in the attack are inviting the judgement of God. Here is an excellent broadcast that will explain all of this.

There is only one reason Iran felt confident enough to try to annihilate Israel. The Ayatollah knew the Biden Administration would do nothing to stop it and they would do nothing to punish Iran.

Keep in mind that the Obama administration (which Biden was part of) gave Iran billions of dollars in the past. At one point, the Iranian regime was on their way to collapse. Instead of letting that happen, Obama gave them a load of cash to keep their corrupt leaders in power. Once Biden cheated his way into office, he continued the legacy of poking God in the eye by supporting Islamist fundamentalists who shout “Death to Israel” and “Death to America.”

Shockingly, the day after Iran began attacking Israel, scores of pro-Palestinian protests erupted across America in places like Chicago O’Hare airport and the Golden Gate Bridge. Sadly, many colleges around the United States of America are participating in protests against Israel and supporting Hamas. Recently, at Columbia University, Jewish students were told to go home because it wasn’t safe for them to be on campus amidst the growing anti-Semitic threats at their own school.  Protests continued around the country in major cities like Brooklyn, Boston, Los Angeles and Washington D.C.  At historic George Washington University, the pro-terrorist groups (I’m calling them “pro-terrorist” because that is who they are supporting—Hamas terrorists) created their own “liberated zone.” They claim that the Palestinians of Gaza must be liberated as well. They say that Israel is entirely responsible for any violence committed by Hamas.

Do you understand how sick that is? They are saying that Israel deserved what happened on October 7, 2023.  

On October 7, 2023, Hamas and its soldiers murdered babies, even putting one into an oven. They raped women so violently that their pelvises were broken. They burned people alive. They shot entire families to death.

To fully comprehend this kind of thinking and actions, you must understand the belief system of Islam. While not every Muslim follows the instructions in the Koran and Hadith, there are those who do. Hamas follows the Koran to the extreme. Watch this video for more info, as well as this one. Also, a great book to read is Islam and the Jews by Mark Gabriel. In the book, the author explains why he grew up hating Jews and how Jesus changed his heart. In essence, we should be praying that the Palestinians would have encounters with Jesus because he is the only one who can transform their lives. If you are able, watch this video of Hassan Yousef—he is the son of one of Hamas’s co-founders. He knows what Hamas believes because of experiences within his own family. He exposes what they believe and explains why he rejects their ideologies. Here is another one that is much longer, but very detailed.

We must all understand that hatred for Israel comes from the pit of Hell. Additionally, the threat against Israel by these terrorists is also a threat to the United States.

Israel has offered the Palestinians a state at least five times. Each time, they have rejected the offer. WHY? Because they publicly reject Israel’s right to exist and will not agree to let Israel live in peace.  Watch this video for more details. A great website to follow is Eye to Eye by Bill Koenig. He explains many of the problems in the Middle East and how it all ties together.

Understand this—- the land of Israel belongs to the Jewish people. They are the indigenous people, not the “Palestinians.” I don’t have time to explain the entire history, but the Bible tells us that God gave the Jewish people the land they currently live in. They also received it legally under “man’s laws” through the UN partition plan, as well as the British Mandate.

The honest truth is that the Palestinians are in bondage because they live under terrorist governments such as Hamas, who they voted into office. Polling done within the Palestinian territories reveals that most citizens fully support Hamas’s violent tactics. Additionally, the children and youth in Gaza are taught from an early age to hate Israel and the Jews. Anti-semitic information fills the textbooks in their schools.

Israel has tried to live in “peace and safety,” since 2005, when the land was given to the “Palestinians” for peace. This brought Israel continuous attacks from the Gaza strip, where the belief is that Israel doesn’t have the right to exist. Israel has given money to the Palestinians to create a viable, productive homeland. Instead, Hamas uses all the money to build terror tunnels and pay off the families of terrorists. Deluded protesters need to read Hamas’s charter which vows death to the Jews. The goal of Hamas and the Palestinians who support them (which is a very large portion of the region) is to take all of Israel’s land.

If you watch some of the current anti-Israel protests you will hear them shouting death threats and things so vile that you would think you were living in Nazi Germany. Just so you know, anti-Semitic cartoons and caricatures are popping up all over social media and in college classrooms. This is how things began in 1930’s Germany when people began spreading flyers around and hanging posters which portrayed Jewish people as rats and devils.

These protesters claim that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. This is a bold-faced lie designed to garner sympathy for Hamas. The truth is that Hamas uses its own people as human shields and refuses to evacuate its people from the war zone. Israel only seeks to flush the terrorists out and is perhaps the only nation in the world that tells its enemy exactly where it will bomb. This way the civilians can be moved to a safe area. The Israeli army goes out of its way to avoid civilian casualties, but Hamas forces its citizens to stay, even hiding weapons on site and using terror tunnels that have been dug beneath hospitals, schools and daycares. Additionally, Israel sends food and medical supplies into Gaza on a continuous basis, but Hamas takes it all for themselves.

All these protests are funded and pushed by left-wing groups that support everything from open borders to sex change operations. They strategically use ignorant students in colleges who are willing to jump on the latest liberal agenda. These kids and adults have no biblical knowledge about Israel, and they have no idea about what the religion of Islam stands for.

They see Hamas as the victim when the scary truth is that Hamas would treat them as infidels if they were to stand face to face with them in the real world. What happens to infidels in Islam? They are killed.

On April 28 and 29, 2024, protests at universities in California such as UCLA, reached a violent level with students punching and sparring with one another. Sadly, April 29 just happens to be the anniversary of the Edict of Expulsion of the Jews, which was issued on March 31, 1492, but went public in many places the week of April 29, 1492. At that time in history, Jews were kicked out of the Spanish kingdom unless they converted to Christianity by order of the King and Queen of Spain. This just happened to be the same year and around the same time that Christopher Columbus left Spain to explore unknown lands for the King and Queen. Some historians have speculated that Columbus hid his Jewish identity and went to the New World in search of a place to worship freely. If you know your American history, you have heard that Columbus is credited for being the first European to explore what would eventually become the Americas.

As Americans, one thing we have always cherished is religious and personal freedom. It is horrible when we see Jewish people being treated this way on college campuses and their freedoms being violated in such a public way. Of course, Iran is celebrating and even funding some of these protests. Self-proclaimed atheist George Soros and his dark money are also funding these blatant displays of evil against Jewish students.

A day of reckoning is coming from God Almighty.

Joel 3:2 says:

“I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.”

Israel is being targeted because the Biden Administration and also ignorant Americans want their land to be divided up and given to TERRORISTS and people who hate the Jews.

Genesis 12:3 declares that God will curse those who curse the Jewish people. In fact, when our nation participates in cursing the Jews, they are setting themselves up for a curse.

WOULD YOU HIDE A JEWISH PERSON?

As Christians we should all be praying for the protection of the Jewish people. Now is the time to consider the fact that we may need to hide Jewish people in the future. Like Corrie ten Boom, who even went to a concentration camp as a consequence for protecting the Jewish people, we too must be prepared to do what Jesus calls us to do when and if times get worse and God’s chosen people need our help.

Keep in mind that the Holocaust could have never happened without cooperation.

Imagine how many more Jews could have been saved if every Christian in Germany and the surrounding countries stood up against the Nazis.

Sadly, the majority stayed silent as protests against Jews erupted throughout Germany. Most turned the other way when the railcars drove to the camps. Still others held their nose when the smell from the ovens lingered in the air.

Much of the information I’ve shared with you about what’s happening to Israel, as well as the American response to it, has happened just before or after the April 8, 2024 eclipse bisected our nation with its shadow. Since then, a time of darkness has fallen upon our land, bewitching those who do not understand God’s great love for the Jews and his plan of redemption for them.

There are More Eclipse Details to Share……………….

Let’s get back to the eclipse falling on the first day of Nisan. As I said before, Nisan marks the time on the biblical calendar aligning with the season of Passover.

Something interesting happened to me a few weeks before the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse.  I received a box in the mail from Amazon and I noticed it had the word BO on it.  Normally I don’t pay attention to these things, but for some reason that word stuck with me.  See picture below—

“BO—- what does that mean?” I thought.

For a week or so I kept thinking about it. The funny thing is that I tried to throw the box away a few times, but my husband stopped me, saying, “We may need that box.” Thus, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get rid of the BO box.

One evening I was looking at the box, when all of a sudden, I had to urge to go to the store. It was kind of late and a storm was coming, but I jumped into my car anyway and went to Hobby Lobby. As I was getting out of my vehicle, I noticed a cool-looking car parked in front of me. See pic below

It was the Dukes of Hazzard car (a replica of course). This brought back memories from my childhood when I used to watch the show every Wednesday at 8 p.m. As I was reminiscing, I realized that my favorite character was named……wait for it……..…….BO!

I thought that was very strange because the word BO was on my mind before I left my house that evening.

When I got home, I decided to look up the actor who played BO in the Dukes of Hazzard show. I found out that he (John Schneider) was born on APRIL 8. 

Hmm…. Does that date sound familiar?????

I realized BO was born on the same date that the eclipse would arrive—APRIL 8.

My mind was spinning thinking about this BO-incidence!!!!

I started to wonder what the word BO means in Hebrew. Here is what I found:

BO means to go, come or enter.

When I first read this, I thought, “I’m supposed to GO and see the solar eclipse.” Hey, maybe Bo from the Dukes of Hazzard is supposed to GO with me….Ha Ha!!!!

For the next few days, I kept searching for ways to get to the path of totality for the eclipse. But each time I tried to find a way there, a door would be shut in my face. I realized I wasn’t going to be able to GO to the path of the shadow.

I decided to see what else BO meant. Maybe I missed something….

Well, I did miss something and here is what it was:

Parashat (Portion) BO is one of the weekly Torah portions contained in the annual cycle of the Torah readings (first five books of the Old Testament).

Every year both Messianic Jews (religious Jews who have received Jesus as the Savior), and Orthodox Jews (religious Jews who follow strict Judaism, but do not acknowledge Jesus as the Savior) will follow a schedule for reading the first five books of the Old Testament. These books are divided up into 54 separate portions (parashat). The weekly portion is named for the first word or words in the passage. Each week will be assigned a different Torah reading (portion), and this will be read aloud or chanted in the synagogue on Shabbat.

So, what is the Torah portion “BO” about?

This portion is from Exodus 10:1-13:16. It is named BO (which means GO, COME) because one of the first things written in this portion (section) is the word GO.  

It begins with, “GO” to Pharoah.

To summarize this portion, Hebcal explains:

“Bo (come) recounts the last three plagues that God inflicts on the Egyptians: LOCUSTS, DARKNESS, AND DEATH OF THE FIRSTBORNS. God commands the Israelites to offer a Passover lamb sacrifice. After the last plague, Pharoah and the Egyptians demand that the Israelites leave.”

Below are some verses from Exodus 10:

Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his officials, that I may perform these miraculous signs of Mine among them, and that you may tell your children and grandchildren how severely I dealt with the Egyptians when I performed miraculous signs among them, so that all of you may know that I am the LORD.”

So, Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and told him, “This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: ‘How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go, so that they may worship Me. But if you refuse to let My people go, I will bring locusts into your territory tomorrow. They will cover the face of the land so that no one can see it. They will devour whatever is left after the hail and eat every tree that grows in your fields. They will fill your houses and the houses of all your officials and every Egyptian—something neither your fathers nor your grandfathers have seen since the day they came into this land.’”

Then Moses turned and left Pharaoh’s presence.

Pharaoh’s officials asked him, “How long will this man be a snare to us? Let the people go, so that they may worship the LORD their God. Do you not yet realize that Egypt is in ruins?”

So Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh. “Go, worship the LORD your God,” he said. “But who exactly will be going?”

 “We will go with our young and old,” Moses replied. “We will go with our sons and daughters, and with our flocks and herds, for we must hold a feast to the LORD.”

Then Pharaoh told them, “May the LORD be with you if I ever let you go with your little ones. Clearly you are bent on evil. No, only the men may go and worship the LORD, since that is what you have been requesting.” And Moses and Aaron were driven from Pharaoh’s presence.

Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt, so that the locusts may swarm over it and devour every plant in the land—everything that the hail has left behind.”

So Moses stretched out his staff over the land of Egypt, and throughout that day and night the LORD sent an east wind across the land. By morning the east wind had brought the locusts.

The locusts swarmed across the land and settled over the entire territory of Egypt. Never before had there been so many locusts, and never again will there be.  They covered the face of all the land until it was black, and they consumed all the plants on the ground and all the fruit on the trees that the hail had left behind. Nothing green was left on any tree or plant in all the land of Egypt.”

Did you notice that I highlighted the parts about the LOCUSTS in these verses?

That’s because when I read the BO portion, my attention was brought to the locusts. The reason I honed in on this particular part is because for the last few years the Holy Spirit has impressed the word LOCUST on my heart. Oftentimes, it would pop into my head when I prayed. In other instances, it felt like a gentle reminder over and over again.

What do locusts do? They eat the food supply.

Currently, it is fairly well-known in conservative circles that the globalists (world leaders) are trying to reduce the food supply. Just look at all the farmers’ protests happening around the world. Europe is actively shutting down farms and forcing farmers to kill their cattle and pigs to “save the planet.” To date, the Netherlands has closed down over 3,000 farms. This is a frightening fact when one considers that the Netherlands is the second largest exporter of agricultural products in the world.

Additionally, here in America we are seeing the deaths of thousands of cattle in wildfires, especially in Texas, which is cattle central.  I know you are thinking, “How can globalists (world leaders, climate czars) cause wildfires?” Well, I know it sounds like conspiracy theory, but there are geoengineering projects being done by our government and others around the world. This includes spraying toxic substances into the clouds and even using energy weapons to cause fires. The only “climate change” happening is that which is being caused by our own governments who are manipulating the weather. I’m not saying all the weather is manipulated— but there are some instances where this could be happening.

Our food supply is also being weaponized through the war on fossil fuels and “greenhouse gases.” As governments push the “green agenda” they are vowing to rid the world of the fuel we need to power our vehicles that transport food, as well as power our tractors and combines. Nitrogen and carbon have been demonized and thus, they are purposefully being targeted by climate fear mongers. We need nitrogen to create fertilizers and we need carbon to help crops grow. As the price of fuel increases, we will see that cost passed on to us in the form of high food prices, as well as other products.

Just recently, the media has been trying to scare everyone about the latest Bird Flu. They say they are killing millions of chickens to protect us. Hmm, maybe they are just trying to dwindle down the food supply even more. Or perhaps they are prepping us for their next man-made PLAN-demic.

I have written blogs and articles in the past about the dangers our food systems are facing. So far, we have seen rampant inflation and this will continue to get worse unless something drastic is done to stop this “locust” agenda.

Truth be told, we are literally staring at an army of manmade locusts right now.

They have been working on this plan for a while now and as I’ve already stated, you can see that prices in the grocery store are already sky high. So far, there’s still plenty of food on the shelves. But as prices continue to soar, we could see real problems in the future. I do not know the timing, but at some point, this “plague of locusts” could hit us square in the face.

Additionally, if the climate agenda continues, and Joe Biden keeps selling our oil reserves to foreign countries such as China, we could have “locusts” swarming everywhere. By the way, we also need oil and natural gas for energy and electricity to power our homes, run our air conditioners and live a normal life!

This could all come to a head in the near future. How near, I do not know.

Personally, I would keep a supply of emergency canned foods that would last at least six months.

I would rather have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

I HOPE WE WON’T NEED IT.

On a side note, before I saw the Bo (Dukes of Hazzard) car, I had been praying to the Lord about whether I should continue keeping a stock of extra food for emergencies. Once I found out what the “BO Torah portion” was about, I decided I’d better continue doing this.

I am not trying to scare you.

I DO NOT KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN. I CANNOT DETERMINE THE FUTURE OBVIOUSLY.

But even without the whole BO-incidence, I can read the writing on the wall. I follow what the globalists are saying and doing. It doesn’t take long to realize they are deliberately manipulating our food systems, and trying to convince the world that they may need to eat bugs one day! 

The World Economic Forum (a globalist organization that influences nations around the world) and the United Nations continue pushing their “world food plan” known as Food Innovation Hubs. They claim that their goal is to make food more “sustainable” and “inclusive,” but the truth is that their real plans are much more sinister. They plan on taking control of the world’s food supply, and then deciding who gets what and how much.

 In 2008, the United Nations posted an article titled, “The Benefits of World Hunger.” Recently they removed this from their archives because too many people saw that it praised the idea of “being hungry.” Its author stated that hungry people are more productive, making the case for how hunger can be used to make people work harder.

Hmm, how does that saying go? Whoever controls the food supply controls the world. This is why the globalists (“One Worlders”) and climate change enthusiasts want to collapse our current food system. Then, their new system can be installed that THEY CONTROL.

Additionally, globalists have been promoting insect diets, saying that they are sustainable sources of protein. They are also giddy about feeding everyone genetically modified anything and everything!

In order to push its plan for global sustainability, the United Nations suggests that humans should eat bugs instead of burgers and chicken nuggets. Their 200-page study titled, Edible Insects: Future Prospects for Food and Feed Security, outlines the many ways that bugs can be used to meet the protein needs of the “middle classes,” while also helping to relieve environmental pressures. Most importantly, they reduce the need for conventional livestock.

Hmm, now we know why they are shutting down all those farms that raise cattle. They want the serfs eating bugs while the elite eat their steaks.

A few months ago, I was taking a vacation with my husband and we saw this unusual looking grasshopper. See pic below…

The first thing I thought of was all the bug farms I had been reading about and the plan to control the food supply. At the time, I just prayed about it.

As I’ve said before, I do not know if a food shortage will happen.  Instead, we may see very high inflation or perhaps less food choices will be available. I don’t know, but I am going to be praying about this every day.

Also, the crazy thing is that the day before the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse, a friend of mine saw a Dukes of Hazzard car in a parking lot at a restaurant where she was eating. Several weeks prior, I had told her about seeing the “BO” Dukes of Hazzard car, and had even sent a picture of it to her. At that time, I explained how John Schneider (the actor who plays Bo) was born on April 8- the same date as the solar eclipse. She thought that was interesting. Then, just a day before the eclipse, she sends me a pic of a Dukes of Hazzard car that she saw! See pic below…

My friend said that the man who owned the Dukes of Hazzard car shared that he uses it as a conversation starter to tell people about Jesus. Also, many people don’t know this, but Bo from the show (John Schneider) is a Christian who loves Jesus.  

All of this reminds us that even though things may appear grim, as we see the world falling into apostasy and demonic deception, we know that JESUS is going to eventually set all of this straight. Also, if we do experience any food shortages in the future, or any kind of food scarcity, we can rely on Jesus to be our provider.  In the past I wrote about the awesome raven the Lord showed me in 2021 to remind me that HE WILL ALWAYS PROVIDE. Two days after the April 8, 2024 eclipse, I was at my mother’s house and one of the plants in her front yard was covered in grasshoppers that were voraciously eating the leaves and stems. I have never seen this happen before. 

A few days later, I went back to my Mom’s house and there they were again. The plant they were eating is called a Moses in the basket, or Boat Lily plant (also called an Oyster plant). They are called this because they have small white flowers that are tucked away in a boat/basket shaped bract in the leaf axil.

Also, I included a picture of the little Moses baskets/boats of the plant. They are called this because they look like little boats or baskets. The Bible records the story of Moses being hidden in a basket for protection.

When I saw all those grasshoppers devouring this plant, I was reminded of the words “food shortage.” I looked up the word locust and found out that locusts are actually a species of grasshopper. The website Terminix explains, “All locusts are grasshoppers, but not all grasshoppers are locusts…locusts are considered part of the short-horned family of grasshopper…the biggest difference between locusts and grasshoppers: Locusts have the ability to swarm.”

In the future, if we do experience a food shortage, we can always pray that Jesus will keep us in his “basket” or ark (boat) of protection— just like the little “baskets” on the plant I showed earlier. We can be assured that God will provide. Additionally, it may be a good idea to have some extra supplies on hand.

For myself, I always pray about things that are brought to mind via the Holy Spirit. The Lord connects with us through prayer and will guide us to solutions, or ways to cope in difficult times.

One thing I do know is that our nation cannot keep pushing and following anti-biblical and anti-Israel agendas. Our nation has been blessed with an abundance of material wealth and plentiful food.

WHO DO YOU THINK GIVES US THESE BLESSINGS?

OF COURSE, IT IS GOD— JESUS CHRIST

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF OUR NATION TURNS ITS BACK ON GOD and THE NATION OF ISRAEL?

It stands to reason that our blessings will be affected.

It would be easy to come away from this blog feeling depressed, but that is not my goal. Instead, I want you to come away knowing that GOD CAN USE ALL THINGS FOR GOOD.  He can also bring people to repentance through the truth, as well as through hardship. Also, only God knows the future, but we can be part of his plan by praying and listening to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

We are a nation of praying people, so by all means, Let’s pray!

No matter what happens, Jesus will stand with us and we can be assured of his goodness. God is constantly working and we can graciously work with Him.

What Happened to the BO Box?

By the way— I never told you what happened to the BO box. Well, three days after the total solar eclipse, my son found a bird with an injured wing near our front door. See pic below.

The bird couldn’t fly anymore because of its wing, so we decided to take it to a local wildlife refuge where they could help it.

I searched for a box to put the bird into. I’ll bet you already guessed which one it was. See pic below.

Yep, it was the BO box.

As I put the bird in the Bo box, I realized that yes, our nation is injured. In many ways, we have a broken wing. But the wonderful thing is that Jesus is more than capable of healing us both individually, and as a nation. But in order to do that, there has to be repentance. Also, we must take refuge under the wings of our Healer— Jesus Christ.

 Below is a picture of a prayer box that I’ve had for a few years. Inside, it says, “I am the Lord who heals you.” Occasionally, I write prayers on a small sheet of paper and put it inside the box. When something is causing me distress, the box is a reminder to give that worry to Jesus in the form of a prayer.

The verse on the inside of the little prayer box comes from Exodus 15:26 which says,

“If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”

If we keep our eyes on Jesus and follow his ways, we need not worry about plagues (such as “locusts”) or problems that may come our way. The Lord Jesus will listen to our prayers and bring the healing we need, at the time we need it.

He will also give us the guidance we need to speak the truth and stand against tyranny and lies. We must stand firm on His solid truth.

The eclipse has passed, but we are moving forward with Jesus. His light will overshadow any darkness ahead.
