Traitors in our Nation

As the season of Elul nears its close, we await the arrival of the High Holy Days, which include Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) and Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles). The biblical month of Elul (which began September 4, 2024 and ends at sundown on October 2) is a time to reflect, repent and draw closer to God as the old year ends and a new one begins.

During the 29 days of Elul, the shofar (trumpet) is blasted as a wake-up call to all those who are willing to hear it. As believers pray and fast during this time, the Lord is very near. According to Jewish tradition, “the King is in the field,” waiting to speak to the hearts His people. It is during this season of repentance and revelation that God may choose to “sound the trumpet” louder than usual. For myself, during this season I was reminded of a blogpost I wrote back in November 2016 titled TRAITORS. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were running for President of the United States back then. At the time, I felt led to write about the possibility of an assassination attempt because of the Holy Spirit’s leading. Our nation was entrenched in deep division and the name Benedict Arnold repeatedly came to mind.

Of course, we are experiencing substantially more division nowadays!

Less than a month before the 2016 election, my family visited Saratoga Battlefield in New York. While touring the area, I encountered a curious, rather odd memorial located at Stop #7. Known casually as the Boot Monument, it was completely surrounded by an iron fence.

Here is how the National Park Service describes it:

“Saratoga National Historical Park contains many monuments. But only one commemorates the actions of a man who was instrumental in the American victory here, but later became a traitor to the United States: the infamous Benedict Arnold...This monument is perhaps the most popular, unique, and controversial monument of the many placed here.

After he was wounded, General Arnold underwent surgery and after months of recuperation was assigned to command the repatriated capital city, Philadelphia, in June 1778.

There, Arnold’s resentment of perceived mistreatment boiled over into rage against the United States. He secretly sought British support and shared military intelligence. Exposed as a traitor at West Point in 1780, he escaped.

No one in American history is as vilified for treason as Benedict Arnold. The ‘Boot Monument’ is dedicated to this man who led Americans to victory in the Battles of Saratoga.”

When I visited the Boot Monument all those years ago, something stirred in my spirit. Immediately I knew that our country was filled with traitors. In that moment, the word assassination came to mind, but I wasn’t sure what it all meant.

Flash forward to NOW— 2024— and I believe I understand. An assassination attempt has been made on President Trump’s life not once, but multiple times. It’s been eight years since I visited the Benedict Arnold monument, but it’s painfully obvious that traitors have allowed our nation to come under the boot of the deep state!

Who exactly is behind the assassination attempts on President Trump? I can’t say for sure, but I would argue that the globalist elite (cabal) is behind it.

Here’s an odd fact to think about—-

President Trump was born on June 14, 1946.

Benedict Arnold died on this same date, but 145 years earlier, on June 14, 1801.

Benedict Arnold betrayed his country and went down in history as the nation’s most notorious traitor.

On the other hand, Donald Trump has been betrayed by those who are supposed to serve their country— by legislators, the FBI, CIA, the Secret Service and a host of others embedded with the Deep State. If you don’t know what the Deep State is, listen to this podcast.

There’s more I’d like to share about Benedict Arnold, but before I do that, I want tell you about another famous traitor named John Wilkes Booth. As you read about the life of this assassin, see if you can find any similarities to what’s happening in our nation right now…

Lincoln’s Assassination

John Wilkes Booth. Even people who are unfamiliar with history know that name.  Why? Well, most people tend to remember the names of people who did horrible things. Those who commit horrendous acts are often etched in our minds for centuries.

What leads these people to do such unspeakable deeds? What drives them?  In some cases, the person is driven by hatred and revenge. Other times, they are politically or religiously motivated. And in other instances, the person is just plain crazy.

What drove John Wilkes Booth to assassinate Abraham Lincoln?

You may not know this, but Booth came from a prominent family, who hailed from England. His father was a celebrated Shakespearean actor who was both popular and well-respected.  Booth’s family moved to the United States before he was born, making their home in Maryland.   Like his father, John Wilkes Booth became an actor, and he was very good at it. He was popular, athletic, good looking, and well known among thespians. He performed in respected theaters in Maryland, Virginia, New York Pennsylvania and Washington D.C. to name a few. He was characterized by many as one “who stole the scene.”  He had veracity, charm and wit. At one point he was called “The Pride of the American People” and the most promising new actor in America. It’s hard to imagine that a man like this would assassinate a President in cold blood.

What happened in the mind of this very successful actor? There are many books written about him and theories as to why he did what he did, but let’s just look at the facts. 

John Wilkes Booth was infuriated about the idea of slavery being abolished. As the years progressed and the war began, Booth’s hatred grew. He was very vocal about his animosity, often traveling all over the country to perform whilst also letting his radical political opinions be heard by audiences. In St. Louis he was actually arrested for publicly saying he wanted the President to “Go to Hell.”

The hatred began to eat up Booth inside. As it festered, an uncontrollable rage built up. By 1864, he had developed a plot to kidnap Lincoln. He hatched a plan to secretly hide Lincoln in a boat, and travel across the Potomac River. Once across, he would bring Lincoln into the Confederate capital- Richmond, Virginia. There, Lincoln would be used as a pawn to barter with the Union leaders. Booth’s hope was that the Union would then surrender, leaving the Confederates as the standing government, and victors.

Much to Booth’s dismay, he was unable to execute his plan. Before he knew it, the worst possible scenario (for him) unfolded. Lincoln would enter Richmond, Virginia– not as the loser as Booth hoped, but instead the winner. The Union Army would take Richmond, Virginia, which was the capital of the Confederacy. Soon afterward, on April 4, Lincoln would tour the area. This was 11 days before his death. 

When Lincoln entered Richmond, it signaled the END OF THE CIVIL WAR. The Confederacy knew they had lost. Yet, historians have noted that when Lincoln came to Richmond, he didn’t enter in with a prideful attitude. Along the way he greeted slaves, who were exhilarated by his presence, and grateful for what he did as the Great Emancipator. They even tried to bow down to Lincoln, but he quickly told them to thank God, not him. That was Lincoln’s way. He wanted God to have the glory.

The victory of the Union infuriated Booth. His dreams of keeping slavery alive were over. The South was in complete ruins from the war. Their money was worthless. And now, they had lost the fight as well. These harsh realities were too much for Booth. 

Booth decided he would avenge the South. He would become its Savior. There was only one thing to do. HE MUST KILL LINCOLN.

Booth knew Lincoln loved the theater. In fact, Booth himself had performed for Lincoln in the past. Booth figured out Lincoln would be at Ford’s Theater in Washington D.C. the night of April 14, 1865. He knew exactly which play Lincoln would be watching. It was called Our American Cousin. Booth knew the play well, and he’d memorized every scene. He decided he would sneak up behind the President and shoot him during the funniest scene in the play. While the audience was laughing hysterically, Booth would shoot Lincoln in the back of the head. The roaring of laughter would muffle the sound of his gun. And this is exactly what he did.

After shooting Lincoln, Booth jumped to the stage, frightening the audience as he shouted, “Sic semper tyrannis!”. Technically this means “Thus, always to tyrants.” Booth saw Lincoln as a tyrant because he refused to allow the South to continue their lifestyle of owning and abusing slaves. Booth declared that by killing Lincoln, “The South was avenged.”

But was he really avenging the South, or himself? It’s obvious that Booth was deranged and had lost all sense of reality and decency. With no connection to God, he felt connected to the evil one. 

The evil one will tell us revenge is the answer.  

He will tell us that our pride is at stake.  

They are all lies that will lead to the path of destruction.  Pride is Satan’s weapon.  After all, his own pride got him kicked out of heaven.

Lincoln had premonitions of his death before it happened. He had a dream not too long before his assassination where he saw his own corpse. He supposedly knew (in the dream) that the corpse had been shot by an assassin.

When I read the story of Lincoln, I feel saddened, yet alarmed. Booth had so much hate in his heart. The division in the country had become so vast.  It was brother against brother, neighbor against neighbor.  The issue of slavery, along with “states’ rights,” had turned people into bitter enemies within the same country.

Civil War America

Our nation bears a stark resemblance to the one that John Wilkes Booth lived in during the Civil War. We have “John Wilkes Booth wannabes” all over our country who have a disease called Trump Derangement Syndrome. They hate Trump so much that they have no shame in publicly calling for his assassination. John Wilkes Booth is famous for screaming “Death to Tyrants” when he killed Lincoln, but he was blind to the truth that keeping people as slaves is what tyrants do!!!!

It’s the same today because those who oppose conservative politics say that anyone who opposes abortion or LGBTQ rights without restriction is a tyrant! Additionally, anyone who supports Israel, opposes Iran, or wants to protect our nation’s border is a dictator.

It’s completely backwards because supporting the death, mutilation or brainwashing of innocent babies and children is what tyrants would do. It’s what Communist countries like China do by implementing forced abortions on women so they can “control the population.” Even worse, they have instituted a social credit system that punishes anyone who doesn’t conform to the government’s ideals and mandates. Children are educated to follow these directives at a very young age and snitch on anyone who “breaks the rules.” In Nazi Germany they welcomed abortions when it came to anyone they deemed “unfit.” Countless youth were indoctrinated as Hitler youth! Marxists always say they are liberating the oppressed classes, but they are instead assigning them to a culture of control and death.

The presidential elections in our nation have brought out the CRAZY “John Wilkes Booth” side of people. The 2020 election was even more contentious than 2016. But this upcoming 2024 election will break the division bank! The Covid pandemic really brought out the worst in people and showed just how ugly it can all get, but this upcoming “political pandemic” is the biggest threat to the health of our nation.

It’s interesting and eerie to note that John Wilkes Booth was born on May 10, 1838 and President Trump’s mother, Mary Anne MacLeod Trump, was born on the same day 74 years later, on May 10, 1912. She came into this world almost a month after the Titanic sank on April 15, 1912.

John Wilkes Booth assassinated Abraham Lincoln– a president who was adored by freedom loving Patriots who wanted the nation to turn away from the national sin of slavery. John Wilkes Booth saw Lincoln as a threat to the South’s way of life. He believed that state’s rights were more important than setting the slaves free.

Sadly, things haven’t changed much because the assassins in our day believe the same things. Assassins like Ryan Routh and Thomas Matthew Crooks see Trump as a threat to state’s rights which include states being allowed to offer abortions without restrictions, gender transition surgeries and gender affirming care, LGBTQ driven education in public schools, and a host of other liberal policies. Of course, these men are pawns in a much larger game where One-World globalists, Marxists and godless leaders with money simply twist them like a pretzel so they will do their dirty work. These assassins and the leftists behind them see morality as slavery and thereby, like Booth, they claim that they are destroying the masters and tyrants. In reality, they are being held captive by the demonic forces that speak sweet lies into their ears as they commit treason.

Our country has been traveling through icy waters for a while. We are watching a gigantic crack form in our nation’s hull and it could be a matter of time before the SS United States of America sinks to the bottom of the ocean.

What can we do? Should we get mad?  Should we get even?  Should we crawl under a rock and hide?

What we should do is keep praying. We should also speak the truth in love to others. This can be difficult when it comes to people who hold very liberal views. Pray that Jesus will open their hearts to hear the truth and provide an opening for you to speak with them. If you are brave enough, you can also post on social media.

The 2024 Election

When it comes to the 2024 election, it’s important to educate others about Kamala Harris and her destructive views on abortion, the LGBTQ agenda, climate change, Iran, and her support of terrorist organizations like Hamas. It might be a good idea to type up a handout which maps out her views and print copies. Then pray that God would send people in your path that you can give the handout to.

HERE IS A RESOURCE YOU COULD PRINT AND SHARE WITH OTHERS. It compares the political agenda/views of both Trump and Harris. By the way, I’m not saying Trump is perfect and everything he does is gold, but compared to Harris/Waltz, his ideas and policies are much more conservative and his overall goal is to repair our failing economy. Harris is a true Marxist globalist who wants to destroy our borders and unite us with a One World government, whereas Trump is concerned with protecting America’s borders, the Constitution, and our way of life.

With all the continual warfare and opposition, it’s important that we pray Psalm 91 and other verses of protection over President Trump and his family, as well as all of our nation’s leaders. The truth is that an assassination on either side would cause chaos and turmoil in our country.

We should always pray against assassinations. World War 1 is a terrifying example of how they can lead to all out war. While World War 1 had several causes, the most immediate one was the assassination of the Archduke of Austria-Hungary. This assassination threw countries into a tailspin and led to the first world war.

The Eclipse Connection

Interestingly enough, there was a total solar eclipse that crossed over Eastern Europe shortly after World War 1 began. When it arrived on August 21, 1914, many took it as an ominous sign. But exactly 103 years later, on August 21, 2017, another total solar eclipse would arrive. This one would happen during Trump’s presidency, and it was the first total solar eclipse that only touched American soil since the founding of our nation. Dubbed The Great American Solar Eclipse, its shadow bisected our nation by entering through Oregon and then sweeping across at least 14 states. One of the last places touched by the eclipse’s shadow was Ft. Sumter, South Carolina. This is actually where the first shot of the Civil War was fired at 4:30 a.m. on April 12, 1861. The South (Confederates) seceded from the Union, starting a ripple effect that would eventually rip the United States in half. Interestingly enough the August 21, 2017 total solar eclipse exited through South Carolina and this was the first state to secede.

Another point to note is that the August 21, 2017 total solar eclipse darkened our nation’s land during the biblical month of Elul. As I’ve explained previously, this is known as the month of repentance on the biblical calendar. After the eclipse made its debut, the United States and Puerto Rico (a commonwealth of the U.S.) were visited by several very powerful hurricanes which caused massive damage. The most devastating hurricane (Hurricane Maria) arrived on the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) that year.

The Great American Total Solar Eclipse touched our land at 10:15 a.m. on August 21, 2017.  Abraham Lincoln was shot (assassinated) at 10:15 p.m.  One is a.m. and the other is p.m. but it’s an eerie connection nonetheless. 

Since the August 21, 2017 eclipse (as well as the one our nation experienced on April 8, 2024 that happened seven years later), our country has witnessed division running off the rails. The divide is so big, it feels like the United States is splitting in half which reminds me of the two eclipse paths that bisected our nation! Thankfully, President Trump was not killed during the recent assassination attempts, but we must pray that there aren’t more attempts made. The devastation, loss and division that would bring could be catastrophic! If ever there were a reason for civil war, that could certainly be it!

As I stated before, it’s very likely that deep state actors, globalists and Luciferians are behind these assassination attempts. They work with traitors in our nation to put their plans in motion. They cannot act themselves, so they use other people to do their dirty work. The goal is to take down America with their Marxist, Communist agenda.

Benedict Arnold–America’s Most Notorious Traitor

Of course, the most famous traitor in American history is BENEDICT ARNOLD.  But what most people do not know is that Benedict Arnold was once a HERO of the American Revolution. Yes, I know that’s hard to believe.  Like John Wilkes Booth, Benedict Arnold was good at what he did. He was a decorated soldier and military General, and he was well known to his countrymen.  George Washington even entrusted Arnold with overseeing the command of West Point (in New York)– a key site of importance in the war.

Perhaps Arnold’s greatest contribution was what he did at the Battle of Saratoga during the Revolutionary War. As a commander at Saratoga, he was a key player when it came to keeping the British at bay, and stopping their swift advance. He fought fiercely beside his men, and during strategic times, forced the British to retreat. At Saratoga he suffered a horrible leg injury, yet he continued to fight on. This same leg injury would cause him pain up to his very death, which would come years later. (This is why the monument at Saratoga Battlefield features a boot).

George Washington Trusted Benedict Arnold

If you look into the records of Arnold’s battles, you’ll find that he wasn’t afraid of much. In war he was known to ride out on his horse Mercy, heading straight for the enemy and never holding back. His tactics were aggressive and brilliant. Though other Generals thought he was haughty and rebellious, George Washington admired his spirit and veracity. Arnold not only fought brilliantly at Saratoga, he already had many many battles under his belt. Here’s a list of them: Fort Ticonderoga, Battle of Quebec, Battle of the Cedars, Battle of Valcour Island, Battle of Ridgefield, and the Siege of Fort Stanwix. He was known for his assertive techniques and strong sense of leadership.

Arnold never received the recognition he thought he deserved for his service. Instead, other leaders and officers were given accolades, while Arnold was rebuked and often ignored. This, along with other factors that would take a while to explain, led to his bitterness. Over time, he soured and the hate began to fester. Like John Wilkes Booth, he felt emboldened to do something.

After letting bitterness eat him alive, Arnold decided to switch sides. He devised a plot to provide secret information to the British. Even though he had valiantly fought in the American Revolution, he would allow this bitterness to turn him against his own countrymen.

At one point Arnold was offered the command of West Point. This was a strategic location and stronghold for the Continental Army. Having control of this military fortification was an honor that held great responsibility. It was the chance Arnold had been waiting for. Now he could get his revenge.  

Arnold offered to surrender West Point to the British in exchange for money. He conferred secretly with Major John Andre, and General Henry Clinton of the British Army, promising that he would let them know about the troop movements of the Continental Army. Most importantly, Arnold would show the British how to take the fortification at West Point. He wrote all of this down on paper and planned to smuggle the information to the British.

Much to Arnold’s dismay, his grand revenge scheme failed because on September 23, 1780 his traitorous plans were discovered. He had managed to get the secret plans to John Andre, a spy chief for the British, but Andre was intercepted and captured by American militiamen. During a search of Andre, the papers were found. These plans gave details about how to capture West Point and Benedict Arnold’s name was on them so there was no doubt as to who wrote them.   Washington (who had given Benedict Arnold command of West Point) was notified, and Arnold’s dirty deeds were exposed. Washington is quoted as saying, “Treason of the blackest dye was discovered,” adding that “The providential train of circumstances which led to it affords the most convincing proof that the Liberties of America are the object of divine Protection.”  

Washington was crushed by the news that a man he had placed his trust in was now a traitor. But he believed God had allowed the plot to be revealed.

The date September 23 struck me- the date Arnold’s plans were discovered, and the plot was revealed. 

September 23, 2015 marked the start of the Jubilee year, which also coincided with Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement). Prior to this Jubilee date, there had been three blood moons (total lunar eclipses) —the first occurred on Passover (April 14/15, 2014— this is also the anniversary of when Abraham Lincoln was assassinated)—- the second happened on the Feast of Tabernacles (October 8, 2014)—- the third occurred on Passover again (April 4, 2015– this just happens to be the anniversary of when Martin Luther King was assassinated) All of these occurred on the Feasts of the Lord, or Jewish Feasts.  

Now, why is the Jubilee a significant date?  In the Bible the Jubilee occurred every 50^th year and it was tied to the restoration of the land. If land had been lost due to debt or other circumstances in the past, it would be returned to the rightful owner in the year of the Jubilee. I couldn’t help but think of what would have happened to this LAND we call AMERICA if Benedict Arnold’s plans hadn’t been discovered. If West Point had been taken by America’s enemies, the war could have made a horrible turn in favor of the British. America may have never been.

It seems that today our land is filled with traitors.

People do not seem to care that our borders are being purposefully breached. They don’t care that our youth are being targeted by the “alphabet gang.” They don’t care that politicians are selling out our nation to countries like Iran. and supporting terrorist groups like Hamas. They look the other way as babies are aborted. They pretend that censorship, medical tyranny and sex trafficking isn’t happening.

I wonder how many traitors are out there negotiating the “sale” of America’s land?  Benedict Arnold was promised a hefty sum of money for selling out his own country.

Benedict Arnold believed he didn’t get the recognition he deserved.

He identified as a victim.

It’s not much different today. Many people living in America don’t realize how blessed they are to live here. Instead, they complain about racism and “equity.” They demand the recognition of unlimited genders. They want pride flags flown to lift up their sexuality. They demand the right to kill unborn children. They want to be given welfare benefits, while offering nothing in return. They expect to use drugs without penalty. If they don’t receive these things, they protest in the streets and yell curses about our nation being “systemically racist,” or a “patriarchal system.” Worse yet, some of our own lawmakers go along with all of this. Behind the scenes they make alliances with communist nations like China, or with traitors who want to see the end of America as we know it. Billionaires like George Soros and Bill Gates are more than happy to keep our borders wide open and allow our bodies to become experimental guinea pigs.

As time goes on, the traitors in our nation are being revealed. Like Benedict Arnold, who was foolish enough to sign his own name on the treasonous plans that were intercepted, we are uncovering the devious plots of globalist leaders and organizations such as the World Economic Forum, United Nations and World Health Organization. We have been alerted to the anti-American Marxists that fund the downfall of our nation. Their signatures have been found on everything from our nation’s laws, to our educational, medical and even religious systems.

Recently I read an article in WND which reported that surface-to-air missiles had been smuggled into the United States.

One source tweeted,

“An international war correspondent on X, platform formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday claimed that nine surface-to-air missiles have been smuggled into the U.S. to target Trump Force One.”

The article explained,

“Ann Vandersteel added that the operation will allegedly be led by Sinaloa Cartel of Mexico. However, she did not provide any concrete evidence to back the story.”

The article continued,

“In a tweet, which is now going viral, Vandersteel said that the surface-to-air missiles could be of Iranian origin. This comes after former President Donald Trump said that the U.S. will blow Iran to ‘smithereens’ if Tehran is involved in assassination attempts on former presidents and presidential nominees. The Republican candidate survived an assassination attempt in July. The FBI is also investigating another apparent attempt in Florida earlier this month.”

At this point, there have been no more details to verify the level of the threat. Nonetheless, the article reminded me of a dream I had in 2020 about President Trump.

In the dream, Donald Trump was standing with me on a street called Pershing Avenue. Trump didn’t say anything, but we both knew that a missile had just been fired. In the dream we looked up at the street sign called Pershing Ave as we contemplated what a missile strike meant for America.

After the dream I was astonished to find out that there is a missile system called the MGM-31A Pershing. Though Pershing missiles are part of older defense systems, I knew the dream was warning of what could happen if traitors in our nation get their way!

Will a missile attack happen in the United States? I don’t know, but I think we should all be praying daily about that!

Whether it’s assassinations or missile attacks, the stories of traitors like Benedict Arnold and John Wilkes Booth show us that when people let anger and rage overcome their souls, they are capable of the unthinkable.

Many people are angry about the wrong things.

They aren’t angry that millions of innocent children have been aborted.

They aren’t angry that our youth are being sexualized at all grade levels.

They aren’t angry that millions of illegal immigrants are pouring into our nation.

They aren’t angry that men are trying to become women and women are trying to become men.

They aren’t angry that our working citizens are being taxed into poverty.

They aren’t angry that healthcare is ruled by Pharma giants, tech moguls and global entities.

They aren’t angry about the rampant censorship of biblical, conservative views.

They aren’t angry that hostile terrorists are targeting Jewish people.

They aren’t angry about sinful behavior.

Imagine how history might have been different for Benedict Arnold and John Wilkes Booth if they had just allowed Jesus to become their Savior, rather than following their own prideful, sinful, foolish hearts.

The citizens of our nation need Jesus more than ever. We are in the middle of a revolution that could break our country apart. We are on the cusp of a civil war that could divide us forever.

But we have one Savior who can heal it all. Jesus Christ. He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

I don’t know how history is going to play out, but my prayer is for a great revival within the United States of America. I hope you will join me in that prayer.

As we get closer to the November 2024 election, it’s likely that the warfare will increase and this is why we should increase our prayers!
