And it shall be to you as a sign on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes, that the law of the Lord may be in your mouth. For with a strong hand the Lord has brought you out of Egypt, Exodus 13:9.
This verse has always intrigued me. Every time I read the words, I can’t help but see the foreshadowing of something much bigger—- something that will be part of a future prophetic event.
Many people gloss over this verse because the information relates to an event that happened long ago. The context lies in the consecration of the Passover. Moses is telling the Israelites that God has commanded them to observe the seven days of Passover each year by eating unleavened bread. During this time, they are to remember that the Lord brought them out of slavery in Egypt. God gives the people various ordinances they must adhere to, such as sacrificing firstborn, male lambs. This reminds the people that God spared their firstborns in Egypt after they placed the blood of an innocent lamb on the doorframes of their homes.
Jesus and the Passover
As Christians we know that the blood of the lamb is a foreshadowing of Jesus who would die as the Lamb of God on the cross, shedding his blood for our sins. This allows death and judgement to pass over us so we can attain eternal life and live with our King forever. When we apply the blood of the Lamb of God to the doorposts of our heart (by believing and trusting in Him), we become children of the Most High God. The Holy Spirit lives inside us and allows the Lord to speak to us in a unique and powerful way. This goes beyond just believing that Jesus exists.
John 3:16 states, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
The word believeth in this verse is the Greek word pisteuo which means: to have confidence and to commit one’s trust in; to be committed unto.
This means a person must put their faith and trust in Jesus, as well as follow Him. This does not mean followers will be perfect or even “good” people, but rather they have a relationship with Jesus. Anyone can believe something exists, but putting faith and confidence in someone or something is very different. There are many who believe Jesus existed and maybe they even believe He died on the cross. But do they trust Him to forgive their sins? Do they trust Him enough to love and follow Him? Do they believe they will go to heaven because of His sacrifice and not their own “good” works?
Let’s keep in mind that the Jewish people who haven’t received Jesus as their Lord and Savior do not see or understand the connection that Christians have to Passover and the Lamb of God. Unbelievers do not see this connection either. Keep this in mind as you read further into the blog.
Let’s look at the verse again….
Exodus 13:9 is probably puzzling to many people for several reasons. First of all, why would God say “It shall be to you as A SIGN ON YOUR HAND AND A MEMORIAL BETWEEN YOUR EYES that the law of the Lord may be in your mouth?”
Even Christians may be confused because how do you physically make something a sign on your hand and between your eyes?
To fully understand, we need to look at some other verses from Deuteronomy.
“Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie (bind) them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” Deuteronomy 6: 4-9.
Here we see the phrase: “Tie (bind) them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders.”
These verses clearly say that the Israelites are supposed to love the Lord with all their heart and that He must be THEIR ONLY GOD. In fact, the most central prayer of the Jewish faith comes from these verses. Known as the Shema, this prayer is recited by observant Jews two times daily, as well as at bedtime and during certain Shabbat services and holidays.
In the opening section of Deuteronomy, where this prayer first appears, Moses is addressing the new generation of Israelites as they prepare to enter the Promised Land. To be successful and avoid the devastating mistakes of their parents’ generation, they must be careful to LOVE THE LORD ABOVE ALL THINGS and TO BIND THEMSELVES TO HIM.
How do they do this? By knowing and loving His commandments. It’s a wholehearted commitment to following and serving God. Allegiance to the world and God at the same time isn’t acceptable. Partial allegiance to God and a partial allegiance to paganism won’t work. It’s an “ALL IN” kind of thing!
For orthodox Jews, it’s a wholehearted love of God and His commandments (the Word) that are supposed to be tied (BOUND) to the hands and to be worn on the forehead.
For Christians, it’s a wholehearted love of Jesus (who is one with God through the trinity), and a relationship where He is the trusted source for forgiving sin, speaking to our hearts and minds and guiding our hands and feet as we serve Him.
The Hebrew word for tie/bind is qasar which means to join or knit together; to physically and mentally gird by firmly fastening.
So this idea of binding God (Jesus) to our forehead and hands is similar to the process that God used to form (knit) us in our mothers’ wombs. God carefully weaved our bodies together with such detail that it would point to a Divine Creator.
But AGAIN, how can humans physically do this—bind the Lord to their heads and hands? Well, the context in the verses isn’t necessarily a physical act, but in the FUTURE, I believe it could be—– I’ll explain soon.
Symbolically, the verses in Deuteronomy about “binding” would seem to mean that those who follow the Lord should become so familiar with God’s ways and laws that they are part of his/her mind. They become part of his/her thinking. This is how the love of God is “worn on our forehead or as frontlets between our eyes.” We do things with our hands so this could be why the verses reference the hands. We do things that give glory to God and to please him and this shows our love for him. We also raise our hands in praise and worship.
God often uses His arm and hand as a reminder that He is always with us. He stretches out his mighty arm and hand to protect, help, and lift us up– just like a good father would do.
The High Priest
Regarding the head, it’s interesting to note that the High Priest wore a turban on his forehead with a golden signet engraved with these words: “Holy to the Lord.” It was worn above the frontlets of the eyes (forehead).
Exodus 28:36-38
“Make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it as on a seal: holy to the Lord. Fasten a blue cord to it to attach it to the turban; it is to be on the front of the turban. It will be on Aaron’s forehead, and he will bear the guilt involved in the sacred gifts the Israelites consecrate, whatever their gifts may be. It will be on Aaron’s forehead continually so that they will be acceptable to the Lord.”
This golden head plate is also referred to as a crown or frontlet. The word plate in this verse is the Hebrew word tzitz which means to blossom; a bright-colored flower; a wing (as gleaming in air), or a shining thing.
As Christians we become “Holy unto the Lord” only by receiving Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Before Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross, the High Priest was needed as a “go between” to create a covering for sin. But this was never able to truly remove sin and make people holy. When a person receives Jesus as their Lord, the Holy Spirit enters in and becomes the seal on his/her forehead. The presence of Jesus in our heart and through the Holy Spirit makes us grow and blossom like a beautiful flower. Our light shines before others, just like the Hebrew word tzitz (plate) describes.
Ephesians 1:13-14 declares, “In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the pledge of our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession, to the praise of His glory.”
The Holy Spirit is our seal- our mark of redemption. We have our own mark given to us by God through His son Jesus Christ. This sets us apart as “Holy unto the Lord” and reminds us that we wear a crown of righteousness that God sees from heaven. Of course, Jesus is our High Priest (Hebrews 4:14) who constantly intercedes for us and forgives our sins.
Going back to the earlier verses where God tells the Israelites to wear/bind His laws and commandments on their foreheads and hands, it’s now easy to see how this translates into our salvation through Jesus Christ. Our minds are bound to Jesus and to His Word. Our hands are lifted up in praise to Him, and while we live temporarily on this earth, we do His work.
The Amazing Tefillin Connection
Interestingly enough, many observant orthodox Jews wear something on their hands, arms and head called the Tefillin.
The tefillin are small, black leather boxes with leather straps containing parchment scrolls inscribed with verses from the Torah.
This is how the tefillin are worn: “The arm-tefillah (or shel yad [literally “of the hand”]) is placed on the upper (non-dominant) arm, and the strap wrapped around the forelimb, hand and middle finger; while the head-tefillah (or shel rosh [literally “of the head”]) is placed between the eyes at the boundary of the forehead and hair. They are intended to fulfill the Torah‘s instructions to maintain a continuous ‘sign’ and ‘remembrance’ of the Exodus from Egypt. While historically men used to wear tefillin all day, this is no longer common. The general practice today is to remove them following services.”
Here is a picture of a Jewish man wearing the tefillin.
Note how the leather strap is bound on his hand and all the way up his arm. It is also bound around his head and tied to the leather box, which contains the Word of God tucked inside.
By wearing the tefillin, it is said that the person “binds themselves to the one and only God.”
A Jewish website has this to say about the tefillin:
“Wrapping tefillin very much feels like you are tying yourself to every other Jew and to the G‑d of Israel in a tight bond. It’s also one of those mitzvahs that’s meant to remind us of our liberation from Egypt, when we became untied from bondage to human beings by becoming tightly bonded to the Master of the Universe. Tefillin is said to have a real effect on the people that wrap in them every morning. Their mind and heart are connected together in a perfect bond with the infinite light of the Creator.”
Observant Jews wear the tefillin as an outward sign that they are bound to God. It’s a physical sign that points to an inward devotion.
As Christians we know that we do not have to physically bind our heads and hands/arms with a physical object to show our devotion to God (Jesus). We are marked by the Holy Spirit and the way we live our lives everyday shows we love the Lord. Granted, this doesn’t mean we live without sinning. Anyone who thinks they do not sin is lying to themselves. But with the blood of Christ as our “mark” we are forgiven and covered by His grace.
At this point in the blogpost, it’s been shown that loving, following and being truly bound/connected to God can be symbolized by the head and the hands.
So, what does all of this have to do with a future prophetic event?
Perhaps you’ve already figured it out.
If not, I’ll give you a hint.
The Future Mark of the Beast
“Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon. 12 It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence,and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed. 13 It performs great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in front of people, 14 and by the signs that it is allowed to work in the presence ofthe beast it deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast that was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15 And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. 16 Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave,to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, 17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18 This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.”
These verses from Revelation 13:12-18 are referring to the future mark of the beast. Note that this future mark of Satan (the beast) will be placed on the right hand, or on the forehead.
We know that those who receive Christ are already marked by the seal of the Holy Spirit and this is symbolized by the hand and the head. God goes out of his way to make this comparison. Our salvation is secure with this mark.
Of course, Satan is the ultimate counterfeit so it makes sense that he would establish his future mark in the same places: the head and the hand.
What Will the Future Mark Be Like?
Many biblical scholars believe that the future mark of the beast will involve taking an oath, or pledging allegiance to the Antichrist, who is in union with Satan. Part of this process will include taking a MARK on the right hand or forehead, which is a symbol of their allegiance to him. This mark could go on and/or underneath the skin. Additionally, there will be some sort of worship involved in taking this mark.
While the mark of the beast may definitely be an outward mark on the forehead or hand, I believe it’s something more than just taking an oath of allegiance and getting a physical mark.
Once the person gets the mark, there is no going back. There is no chance for forgiveness.
The reason I believe it must be MORE, is because the Bible tells us that even the worst of sinners can be forgiven. Blasphemers, such as witches and Satanists, often have all sorts of marks and etchings on their body symbolizing their allegiance to the devil–some even drink blood, perform pagan sacrifices, and take oaths to Satan….. but even after all of that, they can still be forgiven. In fact, there are countless former occultists who have been saved by the blood of Jesus. (Here is the website of a former occultist who was saved). Of course, a Satanist (occultist) must renounce their dark master and ask for Jesus’s forgiveness before they can be saved. But their previous deeds do not doom them to Hell if they truly receive Christ and turn from their wicked ways.
How about Jesus’s favorite disciple Peter? Didn’t he deny his own Lord and Savior three times? How about Paul? Wasn’t he a murderer who went out of his way to punish anyone following Jesus? Yet both were forgiven and saved. Peter didn’t lose his salvation for denying Jesus. Of course, he didn’t take an oath to Satan, but he allowed the fear that comes from Satan to influence his behavior.
Many believers around the world experience torture and mutilation for following Jesus. When placed in a terrifying situation where they are facing extremely painful circumstances, it stands to reason that many could deny Jesus to make the torture stop. Does this mean they have truly denied Jesus? No, not at all. If someone is ripping off your fingernails one by one, or using a hot iron to burn your skin over and over, it’s possible that you would deny Jesus in order to make the excruciating pain stop. Some people say, “I would never deny Jesus even if I was being torn apart limb from limb!” Well, you don’t know for sure what you would do until you are in a situation where you are under extreme stress and pain. But even if a person says they deny Jesus with their mouth, it doesn’t mean this is what they believe in their heart. In the end, Jesus knows what’s in our hearts and minds in those dark moments. We can be forgiven of those sins.
In comparison, let’s look at what happens to those who take the mark of the beast in the future. Revelation 14:10-11 reveals this about anyone who takes this damning mark….
“He also will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”
Those who take the mark of the beast will endure the full wrath of God and are eventually thrown into the lake of fire. Their suffering goes on forever and ever.
There is no forgiveness mentioned—- just damnation.
The punishment is extremely harsh and there’s no way to undo it. There is no mercy on anyone who takes the mark.
The mark is more than just denying Jesus and pledging loyalty and allegiance to the Antichrist (Satan). It is more than swearing an oath to Lucifer. Taking the mark is an act of worship, but it’s so egregious that it cannot be forgiven.
This is why I think that this mark goes beyond being a “stamp” or etching, or even an RDIF chip inserted into the skin. It goes beyond pledging one’s loyalty to the Antichrist.
Let’s go back to the verses in Deuteronomy which say that God’s people must be bound to him. Those who are bound to God love him wholeheartedly and this is symbolized outwardly by the forehead and the hands.
“The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them (bind) to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
I cannot be sure, but I believe it’s possible that the future mark of the beast will be more than a “mark.” I believe that whatever it is will have to capability to alter human genetics. This mark will go beyond being a loyalty stamp—- perhaps it will change the human genome that God created, or make irreversible changes in the human brain and body. Could this be done by the insertion of a chip or implant? Yes that’s possible because technology is constantly evolving, as well as genetic innovation.
CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing and lab made mRNA is changing the world. Users of this technology hope to erase certain genes and insert new ones. Enthusiasts of the tech say it’s to do “good” things such as one day erasing genetic disorders, helping people become smarter and healthier, and even defy aging. But imagine what could happen if it’s used to erase certain genes that God put in place for His purpose and design? By editing genes, man is trying to play God by creating his own designs.
Right now, we have companies experimenting with brain implants. Elon Musk’s biotech company Neuralink is currently conducting human trials. Their goals include helping people who suffer from quadriplegia, or some form of paralysis. While this is a noble goal, we must understand that this technology can be used for so much more. While Elon Musk may really just want to help people, it’s important to realize how this tech could be used in the future. The transhumanist movement sees brain implants as a way to alter the human brain by allowing it to merge with computers. In the wrong hands, this tech could be used to alter a person’s brain and even control it.
Miguel Nicolelis, a renowned Professor of Neurobiology who is known for his pioneering studies using BMIs (brain machine interfaces), has said, “Eventually brain implants will become as common as heart implants. I have no doubt about that.”
Nikolas Kairinos, an artificial intelligence expert with a passion for neuroscience, believes that in the next 20 years, we will “likely have implants put into our heads that allow us to learn everything. You won’t need to memorize anything.” He also claims that “brain implants will mean that there will be no need to Google anything, as the answers will simply pop in your head.” Elaborating further, he says that without using words, or typing anything on a phone or computer, you can ask something like “How do you say this in French?” Instantly, the AI implant will provide the information and you will be able to say it with the correct pronunciation. He adds, “Google will be in your head and that’s not far-fetched. It’ll be like having a really smart assistant that will almost think like you.”
The goal is to live in harmony with AI while augmenting existing abilities, and eliminating debilitating conditions such as paralysis or blindness.
Neuralink isn’t the only company in the brain chip arms race. Companies such as Blackrock Neurotech, Paradromics, BrainGate, ClearPoint Neuro, Syncron, Neurable, and Mind X are working on their own wearables or implants to treat everything from blindness and epilepsy to anxiety and depression. Some hope to implant brain chips via the bloodstream and thus eliminate the need for surgery. For some of these companies, brain tech is nothing new. Blackrock Neurotech, for example, has been testing on human patients for over 20 years.
There are also government agencies such as DARPA-— The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, that are working on secretive innovations which are far beyond anything we have ever seen on the market today. Likely, they are much further ahead in this brain implant game than we realize. Whatever tech we are using in our daily lives currently is about twenty years behind what DARPA is working on right now!
I could go on and on, but imagine what a brain implant designed and controlled by the Antichrist (Satan) could do? Perhaps it would erase our minds and replace our thoughts with Satan’s. In this way, our minds are merged (bound) to Satan. Now the brain is no longer human because it is bound (linked) to him. Once the chip is inserted, the person no longer has control over their thoughts or body. Even if they wanted to repent, they couldn’t. All they would know to do is serve and worship Satan. Their free will is gone. Also, maybe the implant can be inserted into the hand as well to do the same thing. It could still send signals to the brain, but from a different location. There are implants being created that can be inserted anywhere and then send signals into the bloodstream. There are even tiny robots that can be inserted under the skin. From there they can move freely throughout the body.
A brain/hand implant is just one possibility, but there are other options to consider. Let’s look at the verses again.
Revelation 13:16-18 it says:
“It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.
This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.”
Notice it says that all people had to receive a MARK that is tied to this number. They cannot buy or sell without this mark, which is placed on their hands or foreheads. The word mark is actually the Greek word charagma. According to Blue Letter Bible, the word means: a stamp, an imprinted mark, the mark branded upon horses, a stamp as a badge of servitude, or a graven image.
The root word for charagma is charax and it means: a pale or stake, a palisade or rampart; to sharpen to a point.
Now stay with me because I have a point to make–literally! To completely understand what this mark is, and what it may look like, we have to examine the word carefully. We know this mark (charagma) is a “stamp of servitude” and in this case, it would mean servitude to the Antichrist. We also know it will be given on the hand or forehead.
But what might this mark look like? Let’s look at what charax means: a palisade and to sharpen to a point.
What is a palisade? The word itself comes from the Latin palus, which means stake. I’m sure you’ve seen a wooden stake before. It is a long wooden stick that is sharpened to a point on one end. To create a palisade, one uses stakes of wood, or even small tree trunks and then they are sharpened to a point. Next, they are driven into the ground one by one. An entire fence/border can be created this way. If you’ve ever visited an old fort, you’ve probably seen one surrounding the perimeter. The fence itself can also be pointed at the top, for both defensive, or decorative purposes. (See picture below of me sitting underneath a palisade-shaped redoubt that was used during the Revolutionary War).
It is plausible to say that this future mark will be something that is pointy and/or sharp, like a palisade. It could include rows of sharp, pointed structures, resembling rows of fences. Many of you might be trying to picture this. Well, I’m going to show you some technology that’s already in the works. It’s being developed for future use.
Researchers at MIT are working on a way to record a person’s vaccination history.It would be stored using a pattern of dye that is placed under the skin during a vaccination. Before you read, understand that they’ve been working on this technology for many years, but now they are at the point where it can be utilized. Below is a quote from an article published by MIT that talks about how this technology could be used.
“In areas where paper vaccination cards are often lost or do not exist at all, and electronic databases are unheard of, this technology could enable the rapid and anonymous detection of patient vaccination history to ensure that every child is vaccinated,” says Kevin McHugh, a former MIT postdoc who is now an assistant professor of bioengineering at Rice University.
This dye is made up of nanocrystals called QUANTUM DOTS. These dots can remain under your skin for up to five years. If someone wants to know if you’ve been vaccinated, it would be as simple as scanning over the area of the skin where you were given the injection. This area would light up so they would know.

“The researchers designed their dye to be delivered by a microneedle patch rather than a traditional syringe and needle. Such patches are now being developed to deliver vaccines for measles, rubella, and other diseases, and the researchers showed that their dye could be easily incorporated into these patches.
The microneedles used in this study are made from a mixture of dissolvable sugar and a polymer called PVA, as well as the quantum-dot dye and the vaccine. When the patch is applied to the skin, the microneedles, which are 1.5 millimeters long, partially dissolve, releasing their payload within about two minutes.” Be sure to open the article links so you can see what these patches look like.
By the way, if you scroll to the bottom of the article, you’ll see the research is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. What a shocker! The same guy who wants to reduce the earth’s population is the same guy funding technology to track us.
Watch this you tube video of the mirco needle patch posted June 27, 2017. The technology is out there. It’s a matter of time before they start to use it. By the way, the video shows a patch they are planning to use with the flu vaccine. It is possible they will begin using these patches for Covid vaccines or some other vaccine in the future as well?
When I look at those needle patches, I can see all the little palisades–rows of tiny pointed needles lined up together. Also, notice that these microneedles could be placed on your hand. It’s interesting to me that the press release on this technology happened almost exactly a year before the Covid pandemic.
Now keep in mind I am not saying the covid vaccine is the mark of the beast. I know there are some people out there who have said this. But, in this case there is no worship of the Antichrist involved. People are not getting the Covid vaccine in order to pledge their allegiance to a world leader. The mark described in Revelation is tied to worshipping the Beast (Antichrist) and is called a stamp of servitude. When the real mark comes, people will know it is tied to serving, honoring and bowing down to the Antichrist.
“Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, ‘Go, pour out the seven bowls of God’s wrath on the earth,’The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image,” Revelation 16:1-2.
Anyone who has the mark breaks out with festering sores. That sounds miserable. Some scholars believe the sores could be the result of a reaction to the pharmakeia they received through the mark. Does that word sound familiar? It should because this is where we get the English word for pharmacy. In the Greek, this word pharmakeia means: the use or the administering of drugs, poisoning, sorcery, magic arts; also the deceptions and seductions of idolatry. The root word tied to pharmakeia is pharmakeus, which means: a druggist, pharmacist, poisoner, magician, sorcerer, or one who prepares magical remedies.
This word pharmakeia is found in Revelation 9 and 18, but the word is translated as SORCERIES in English.
“And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries (pharmakeia) were all nations deceived,” Revelation 18:23.
Revelation 9:20 says this:
“And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries (pharmakeia), nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.”
Interestingly enough, this word pharmakeia is only used three times in the New Testament, while pharmakeus is used just once. Pharmakeia/pharmakeus is used exclusively in Revelation, except for one instance, where it is used in Galatians 5:19-20. “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies….” The word witchcraft in this verse is pharmakeia.
This tells us that the word sorcery (drugs/pharmakeia) is very important to take note of in reference to prophecy.
Some scholars have said perhaps the pharmakeia mentioned in Revelation 18 is marijuana or illegal drugs. But that doesn’t seem like it fits here because the verse says BY THY SORCERIES ALL NATIONS WERE DECEIVED. All the nations wouldn’t be deceived by marijuana or illegal drugs. It’s more plausible that it would be something that ties the person directly to the beast–possibly a medical mark/genetic therapy that can alter human DNA. This means it could be a drug with some sort of AI (artificial intelligence) that changes the person’s genetic code. CRISPR-Cas9 technology already exists and allows scientists to alter the genome. Also, for the first time in history, we have “vaccines” that use mRNA technology. Many Christians and doctors are worried these “vaccines” could change our genetic code through reverse transcriptase. There is a lot of debate about it, but either way, the use of mRNA and vector technology should make Christians wake up and realize that the technology will only go further and further as we approach the Tribulation.
Personally, I do not want any product in my body that is called “the software of life.” It’s also called an “operating system.” Check out this link if you want to see why I used that name. By the way, the companies that make these mRNA “vaccines” (which are really gene therapies) are making billions and billions of dollars from their pharmakeia. They have zero liability if you are injured from one of their products. It’s no skin off their back if people have adverse reactions or even die because you cannot sue them. In addition, these companies have strong ties to sketchy characters such as Bill Gates, Anthony Fauci and Francis Collins. The name of the game is money!
Right now HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and other medical freedom advocates are trying to put an end to the mRNA injections, but we still don’t know where all this will end up in the future. Perhaps we will get a reprieve for a while… Who knows? Either way, genetic therapies aren’t just going to disappear. The enemies of God will keep trying to alter human genetics.
Whatever this future mark is—- whether it’s some type of implant or “vaccine,” we can only speculate. Those who get the mark will know it’s an act of worship and allegiance. Perhaps the Antichrist will say that getting his mark will give humans better genetics and protect them from cancer and disease. He may say it will connect humanity together and bring peace to the planet.
Whatever comes out of his mouth will be a gigantic lie.
God sent the flood during Noah’s time because the human genome had been corrupted by the fallen angels when they had sex with human women. Their offspring, known as the Nephilim, were no longer human. This is why God had to wipe everyone and everything out with a worldwide flood. By the way, they were probably altering the genetics of animals and plants as well. Only Noah and his family were spared because they hadn’t corrupted their genes by intermingling with the Nephilim and/or fallen angels.
Perhaps when the Antichrist gives his mark to humans, they will be changed forever and their genes will be like those of their new master, Satan.
The Covid vaccine wasn’t the mark, but make no mistake, it was a trial run of what we could see when the mark of the beast is forced on the world by the Antichrist. Of course, the mark of the beast scenario will be much worse than what we saw during Covid.
Nonetheless, during the Covid plan-demic, just look at how many people got the Covid shots after a mandate was implemented. People were very hesitant to speak out against the ridiculous mandates for a shot that didn’t even prevent transmission of the virus, and didn’t keep a person from getting Covid, or even dying! Regardless of these facts, many didn’t want to lose their jobs or to be barred from traveling and other privileges. Basically, the Covid mandates affected our ability to “buy and sell.” In some countries, you couldn’t even go to the grocery store without your proof of vaccination.
The Covid vaccine mandate was a trial run for what could happen in the future. The mRNA injections were not “vaccines,” but rather genetic therapies. Studies have already shown that these toxic concoctions can alter DNA through reverse transcription. Even though the deadly effects of these shots are well-known by now, the biotech community keeps moving ahead by developing more “vaccines” and so-called medical breakthroughs that involve our genetic code.
The launch of the Stargate artificial intelligence project just recently shows us that stopping the train from moving forward is nearly impossible. The biggest AI companies in the world are partnering with the biotech and security industries to create vaccines in 48 hours via computers. Massive data centers are being built that will be able to store all our personal data and use it to track and trace everything we do, buy and sell.
Of course, this is all being done under the guise of protecting and keeping our nation on the cutting edge of medicine and national security. Unfortunately, this kind of data and technology can be used for evil instead of good. Those working in the Stargate Project may have good intentions, but in the wrong hands, it can easily end up in a dark place. Or when certain scenarios unfold, all those AI tracking systems and “vaccines” can be used to cause great harm.
Thankfully, there are no longer any “vaccine” mandates, but we must always keep our eyes open for the next deception, which will be even bigger the next time. As I’ve written, one can only speculate as to what the mark of the beast will be one day.
Personally, I believe that the Bride of Christ will be raptured before the mark of the beast is cast upon the world. Why? Because we are already marked with the seal of our Lord and Savior. The Word of God says that no one can snatch us out of Jesus’s hands!
John 10:28 says:
“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.”
Why would we be left on earth to face the mark of the beast when we are already marked by Jesus? Also, Christians are not under the wrath of God, but those with the mark of the beast incur God’s unforgiving wrath. The Tribulation is a time where God’s wrath is poured out in full measure on the world. I believe that the Bride of Christ will be in heaven with Jesus during this time, protected under his mighty wings of refuge.
Regardless of what you believe about when the mark will come, it’s important to be on the lookout for deceptions while we are still living on this earth. Of course, at some point Jesus will return for His bride and we should always be ready for that. If we bind ourselves to Jesus in our minds and hearts, and if we live our lives as His hands and feet, we will be ready for anything.
We don’t need to fear the mark of the beast because we are already marked by the Holy Spirit. We are sealed for the day of redemption. Hallelujah!
