“Sic Semper Tyrannis.” These are the words shouted by assassin John Wilkes Booth when he shot and killed Abraham Lincoln on April 14, 1865. The words mean “thus always to tyrants.”
John Wilkes Booth thought his actions were righteous.
He believed Abraham Lincoln was a tyrant, and a destroyer of the American South. Booth blamed Lincoln for the Union’s victory in the Civil War and for policies which would free the slaves.
To Booth, Lincoln stood for everything that was wrong in his world. Thus, he took circumstances into his own hands.
HE MURDERED A GOOD MAN IN COLD BLOOD.
The Murder of Charlie Kirk
As I’m sure you’re aware, the recent tragic death of Charlie Kirk has turned our country upside down. Social media is exploding with everyone’s take on what happened.
For myself, I am saddened and devastated by what happened to Charlie. I mourn for his family, knowing that two young children will be left without a father, and a beautiful wife will never get to hug and kiss her husband again (until they are in heaven together).
I am absolutely disgusted by some of the horrible comments I am reading by liberals online. Many are calling what happened to Charlie “karma,” while others are using the same phrases that were found on the bullet casings such as “Bella Ciao.” By using that phrase, the Left is saying that they are a resistance movement fighting against those whom they consider fascists. The fascists in their eyes are the conservatives who promote biblical values such as protecting the unborn, standing up for biological reality, traditional marriage, and family. Later in this blogpost, I will address the Left’s irrational argument.
Witches Cursing Charlie Kirk and President Trump
Before the assassination of Charlie Kirk, there were witches cursing Charlie, as well as President Trump. An article about witches on Etsy cursing Charlie was published a few days before his murder. Here is the link. Of course, the day after the murder, the online news source who published the article stated the piece was meant as “satire.” The name of this media source is called JEZEBEL if that tells you anything.
They can say it’s satire all they want, but the truth is that I have been to the websites of these witches and they cannot stand people like Charlie or Trump. Ever since President Trump first got into office, there have been witches cursing him. Charlie received the same threats. I have seen some of the threads on Reddit where witches are posting their spells, but I will not link it here as I do not want any association with them. But trust me when I say its a real thing and we should pray about this.

A Spiritual Civil War
As our nation becomes more divided than ever, many agree we are experiencing a spiritual civil war.
Could it turn into a physical one? I don’t know, but the tension has been growing since 2016 when liberalism exploded. After Donald Trump was elected that year, the liberals starting going off the rails and the rift between the Left and the Right became exponentially bigger.
Yes, the division was bad back then. BUT NOW IT’S INSANE.
Back in 2013 I began writing a book called What are the Chances? The Uncanny Connections Between Titanic, 9-11, Israel, and the United States. At that time, the Lord was showing me that our nation was heading into icy waters. In fact, we had already struck the iceberg and the division was beginning to split our nation in half.
BLOOD MOONS OF 2014 AND 2015
In the book (and also in blogposts), I have written about the tetrad of blood moons (total lunar eclipses) that occurred in 2014 and 2015. There were four blood moons in total that fell on the appointed times of the Lord–also known as the Festivals (Feasts) of the Lord. Below are the dates when these blood moons occurred.
April 14-15, 2014– PASSOVER
October 7-8, 2014– FEAST OF TABERNACLES
April 4, 2015–PASSOVER
September 27-28, 2015–FEAST OF TABERNACLES
A tetrad of four blood moons (also known as total lunar eclipses) happening in a row (in a two- year time span) on these biblical holidays is rare. Total lunar eclipses, in and of themselves, are not extremely rare, but the pattern of when and how these eclipses occurred is what was very unusual.
The first blood moon fell on April 14-15, 2014 on Passover. The reason there are two dates listed is because this total lunar eclipse happened in the middle of the night.
When I saw the dates, I realized that this was the anniversary of the Titanic’s infamous sinking, which happened on April 14 and 15, 1912. Interestingly enough, the Titanic struck the iceberg at 11:40 pm on April 14, but didn’t sink until 2:20 am on April 15.
I also realized that President Abraham Lincoln was shot the evening of April 14, and died in the morning on April 15 in the year 1865—but the April 14/15 date was the same as the blood moon.
The Passover blood moon that happened the following year, April 4, 2015, lined up with the same date that Martin Luther King was assassinated in 1968.
There are other historical references tied to the blood moon dates of the tetrad, but I won’t go into all of that in this post.
After all the blood moons passed, I wondered if an assassination could occur in our country at some point, and if that assassination could cause a gaping hole in our nation. I pictured the Titanic splitting in half, then falling to the bottom of the ocean into two pieces.
The assassination of Lincoln took place after a bloody civil war that almost destroyed the United States.
Are We Already in the Midst of a Civil War?
Even though we aren’t engaged in man-to-man combat, we are certainly fighting amongst each other. Social media is ripe with hatred and anger. Shootings are taking place all the time. People are openly talking about assassinating President Trump, government officials, and any public figure they don’t like (Read this article for more info). We are living in a culture that glorifies assassination.
The attempted assassination of President Trump in 2024 was a wake-up call for everyone. Sadly, after that attempt failed (as well as another one) there were a large number of people on Tik Tok and other platforms who were unhappy that Trump wasn’t killed. They went on to post videos titled “WHEN IT HAPPENS” where they fantasized about what they will do one day if an assassination attempt is actually successful.
In the case of President Trump, many people on the Left hate him for his policies because he is conservative when it comes to abortion and does not allow the LGBTQ lobby to force their lifestyle on the entire country. He stops censorship and demands that the media stops lying. He cuts out wasteful, woke spending and calls for accountability in government. Most importantly, he advocates for the protection of religious freedom and makes sure that legislation is passed which honors our Constitution and the founders’ original intentions. For this, the radicalized Left hates him and wants him dead.
With the assassination of Charlie Kirk, we can see there’s an alarming number of people who are filled with anger and hate. But why do many extreme liberals hate Charlie so much?
While John Wilkes Booth murdered Lincoln because his agenda was to free the slaves, the Left hated Charlie because his agenda was to free people from sin.
Charlie never did it out of malice or anger. He did it out of love for the truth, hoping people would turn to Jesus Christ.
Charlie called out sin and the Far Left didn’t like it.
- Charlie called out abortion and declared that it’s murder.
- Charlie called out transgenderism and explained that it’s a mental illness and a fetish.
- Charlie pointed out that the gay lifestyle is sinful.
- Charlie explained that men who think they are women should not be participating in women’s sports.
- Charlie stated that marriage should be between a man and a woman.
- Charlie defended Israel’s right to the biblical land.
- Charlie exposed critical race theory and DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) as dangerous because its ideologies and programs divide people, rather than unite them.
- Charlie exposed the draconian measures that were taken during Covid which eroded our freedoms such as lock downs, mask mandates, and vaccine mandates.
- Charlie called out the woke culture that has infiltrated schools, businesses, government and society. This woke culture uses censorship, name-calling, bullying, and irrational behavior to get people to go along with their agenda. From forcing people to use pronouns to automatically labeling anyone a hater, a bigot, or a racist if they don’t agree with their liberal politics, WOKEISM has become the iceberg that could sink our country.
- Charlie exposed the roots of Marxism, socialism, and communism. He illustrated how our culture, schools, governments, and society are being infiltrated.
- Charlie showed that our nation has a biblical founding and proved time and time again that as John Adams said, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
- Charlie exposed Islam for what it is and explained how it’s infiltrating our nation, and aligning with Marxism.
I could go on, but it’s easy to see from this list that Charlie was a man of faith who believed what the Bible says. He knew that the agenda of the Left, which glorifies abortion, the LGBTQ lifestyle, open borders, lawlessness, and godlessness, was a dangerous form of slavery that could destroy the United States of America.
If you watch Charlie’s shows, he was not a hateful or divisive person. When he toured colleges to speak truth to the youth, he would welcome challenges and questions. He treated those who disagreed with respect, not anger and hate. Oftentimes, the Left will quote something he said and use it out of context. This is what’s filling up social media now as liberals claim he’s a misogynist, a racist, and a Nazi.
As people in our nation move further away from the Bible and Jesus Christ, they become more deceived and confused.
- Many extreme liberals truly believe that a man can become a woman.
- They believe that killing an innocent baby is justifiable.
- They believe that young kids need to learn about sexual preferences as early as possible, whether it be “gay sex” or heterosexual.
- They believe it’s normal for youth to begin having sex in their teens and therefore it’s important to educate them about anything sexual.
- They believe sex outside marriage is what everyone does and that having many sexual partners is perfectly fine.
- They believe that mutilating a child’s body so they can change their sex is good.
The Bible says that in the last days, people will call evil good and good evil.
This is exactly what’s happening.
Isaiah 5:20 declares:
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
Many liberals are so deceived that they truly believe they are the resistance to fascism. They compare Charlie Kirk, other conservatives, and Bible-believing Christians to Hitler and Mussolini.
But let’s ask ourselves, whose ideas are truly Hitleresque?
LIBERAL—LEFTIST IDEALS (Not all liberals may share all of these views—there are varying degrees of liberalism, but these ideas come out of the liberal movement.)
- They believe the murder of the unborn is a constitutional right.
- They promote the mutilation of children through sex change operations, and support dangerous drugs and hormone therapy to change a child’s sex.
- They believe boys can become girls and girls can become boys.
- They think it’s ok for a grown man to dress up as a woman and read books to little kids, or to perform provocative drag shows for children. This is sexualizing children and very dangerous as these shows and book readings often have sexual overtones.
- They think it’s fine for two men to be married, or two women. In fact, most are fine with having multiple partners of all different sexes mixed together. One big free for all.
- They believe the number of genders is endless.
- They believe young children should be educated about sex at an early age, even if it means being exposed to pornographic books.
- They support terrorists such as Hamas and advocate for Islam rather than Christianity. Instead of protecting the Jewish people, who have been the victims of extreme hate, they support Islam. According to the Koran and other holy books, Islam teaches that anyone who doesn’t follow their religion should be killed. In fact, according to Islam, the entire world must submit to Islam and the goal is to infiltrate every country and set up a caliphate.
- During Covid, the liberals demanded that everyone get vaccinated and suggested that the unvaccinated be locked down and denied privileges.
- Leftists support censoring anyone who disagrees with the above info.
Now let’s look at what Hitler and the Nazis supported:
- Euthanizing the sick (murdering them!), or anyone who was genetically inferior—they saw the Jews as an evil, genetically inferior race who were unworthy of life.
- Sterilizing those who were deemed mentally or physically inferior.
- Censoring and then eventually murdering anyone who disagreed with their plans for the Final Solution.
- Using continual propaganda to brainwash people into believing that the Jews were unclean, carried germs, and a scourge on society. This was done through all media available at the time from radio broadcasts to booklets and posters. Schools were also forced to teach the propaganda. Authority figures pushed propaganda as well.
- Only allowing the “right people” to breed so that babies who were unwanted couldn’t be born.
- Indoctrinating youth through a program called the Hitler Youth. They were taught to hate Jews—anyone who refused to abide by the belief that Germans were racially superior was shunned and punished.
- Locking the “diseased” Jews in ghettos. In fact, Nazi doctors propagated the lie that Jews spread typhus and posed a health risk to anyone who came in contact with them.
- Hitler tried to rewrite the Bible (see more info here) so that it suited his agenda and purposes. He even rewrote the Ten Commandments. One of them stated: Honor your Fuhrer and Master. Of course, Hitler’s new commandments did not include Thou shall not kill—which is more aptly translated as THOU SHALL NOT MURDER in the original language.
Just looking at these beliefs, it’s easy to see the parallels to modern day liberalism.
Just as the Nazis murdered anyone they didn’t want around, those who staunchly believe in abortion allow their precious babies to be murdered simply because they don’t want the baby, or they say they are unable to take care of the baby at that particular season of their life. Perhaps the timing of the pregnancy isn’t convenient, or there’s no spouse/partner in the picture. In some cases, a baby was the result of a fling or a promiscuous lifestyle. Some even use abortion as a form of birth control.
Whatever the reason, an innocent baby is murdered and that bears a striking resemblance to Hitler’s extermination campaign during the Holocaust. Over six million Jews were murdered, but as of 2025 we have surpassed that number when it comes to the murder of innocent babies who were unwanted by those who had them aborted.
Sadly enough, the same company (IG Farben) that created the gas known as Zyklon-B, which was responsible for the mass murder of Jews in concentration camps, is the same company that later produced the abortion pill used by so many women to end the lives of their babies. The company changed their name to hide their dark past, but the truth cannot be hidden forever. You can read about it here.
I am not saying that women who have had abortions are Nazis or that they sought to kill their baby with an evil intent. I am sure there are women who regret getting them and feel sadness when the procedure is done. With repentance this sin can be forgiven and washed away by Jesus.
What I’m saying is that many liberals in our nation support the continual murder of hundreds of thousands of innocent babies a year and believe this is a constitutional right. They believe that it’s ok to kill a baby in the mother’s womb. I know there are cases of incest and rape, but that is a very small number. The majority of abortions are from women who simply do not want the baby at that time. Adoption is an option, but most are not willing to make the sacrifice of carrying and having the baby.
The abortion culture is sickening in that we have websites dedicated to “shouting about your abortion.” See this link. Proclaiming the death of an innocent baby is something that screams Nazi to me.
Hitler’s Lebensborn program was created to promote the idea that those deemed “racially valuable” should give birth at Lebensborn homes. This was done to increase Germany’s “Aryan” population. Interestingly enough, those deemed “racially superior” were discouraged from having abortions, but those who were labeled as unfit were encouraged to become sterilized, or to get rid of their baby/child.
Reproductive Care or “Death Care”
Today’s culture tells us that abortion is “women’s reproductive care.” The idea is “have your child when it’s convenient.” If a teenager gets pregnant, for instance, this isn’t convenient. So that teen can go and have her innocent baby sucked out of her womb by a vacuum, dissected with medical tools, stabbed in the neck, or allow the heart to be stopped altogether. Perhaps the baby will be poisoned by chemical drugs and subsequently flushed down the toilet after it’s purposefully expelled. You tell me…what is more like Hitler—- murdering babies by dissecting their innocent bodies, or standing up for the rights of the unborn?
This is a no brainer, yet the Left constantly says people like Charlie Kirk are a threat to their reproductive rights. The culture of death cannot see that what they are doing is wrong. Thus, they point fingers at Charlie and say he is killing democracy. I agree with Live Action’s article which is titled Charlie Kirk Gave His Life Defending the Preborn.
Planned Parenthood Sells the Bodies, Organs, and Tissues of Innocent Babies
Sadly, the Left did not even care when Planned Parenthood was exposed for selling tissue and parts from aborted babies in 2015. See story here. The Center for Medical Progress released the videos which shows top Planned Parenthood executives discussing the sale of baby body parts, saying that it’s a “valid exchange” and that clinics can make “a fair amount of income” doing it. The videos show the callousness of those who work in the abortion industry as they speak about the unborn as if they are nothing.
By the way, this isn’t the first time this has happened, and it wasn’t the last. Other videos show abortion doctors discussing how they manipulate the baby inside the mother’s womb so they can obtain more body parts, while others laugh as they discuss procuring intact brains.
The Left continues to defend the services of Planned Parenthood as “women’s life-saving healthcare” even though they are involved in taking the tissue and organs of innocent babies that were murdered. Planned Parenthood partners and executives have testified under oath that when dissected, these babies’ hearts are beating! They also describe babies “being pulled apart” limb by limb.
Now I ask you again—- what is more like Hitler? Protecting the unborn, or saying abortion is a constitutional right?
Well, I can tell you this, Hitler allowed the Jewish people to be experimented on. See info here. He allowed arms to be amputated, poison to be injected, and for brutal procedures to be done on Jews in concentration camps. This was spearheaded by the infamous Dr. Mengele. Yet today we have doctors who are perfectly fine with injecting innocent babies with poison, and dissecting their parts, and even selling those parts for money. Not only that, we have doctors who are perfectly fine with cutting off female and male body parts in order to do sex change surgeries on minors. They are also fine with pumping young people full of puberty blockers and other hormones. This is nothing more than a cruel experiment and our young people are the patients!
While we are on the subject of Jewish people, let’s remember what Hitler thought about the Jews.
Hitler believed that the Jews were evil, dirty, liars who were diseased, inferior, and not to be trusted.
Hitler and the Nazis spread all sorts of blood libels about the Jews (as had been done throughout history) and blamed them for every ill in society. Hitler and the Nazis were masters at spreading propaganda that demonized Jews.
What does the Liberal Movement think about Jews? Keep in mind that they have been marching at rallies and protesting on college campuses in solidarity with the Palestinians and Hamas since the October 7th tragedy happened.
- They accuse the Jews of committing genocide against the Palestinians and call them “occupiers.”
- They shout and sing “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” When they do this, they are essentially saying to get rid of all the Jews from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.
- They spread lies (similar to blood libels) which paint the Jews as cold-hearted murderers who are deliberately starving the Palestinians and even shooting civilians.
- They eat up all the propaganda that Hamas and their pundits post online, which is meant to demonize Israel and the Jews. Hamas is a terrorist group that murders anyone who doesn’t follow Islam. Their biggest targets are Jewish people, whom they call “pigs.”
- They defend Islam which is the religion of Hamas and the Palestinians. Islam teaches that anyone who is a non-Muslim is an infidel (inferior) and must either submit to Islam, or die by the sword.
- They completely ignore the fact that at least 1200 Jews were viciously murdered on October 7, 2023. Babies were burned in ovens. Women were raped so badly that their pelvises broke. Grandmothers were tortured. Fathers were shot to death in front of their families. Sadly, many within the liberal movement say that the Israelis who died “deserved it.”
YOU TELL ME—- WHO IS SUPPORTING HITLERESQUE BEHAVIOR IN THIS CASE?
Liberals claim that people like Charlie Kirk, who support Israel, are like Hitler, but as you can see, this is utter nonsense because Hitler would never support a Jewish state and he would want all of the Jews dead. The tragedy of October 7 would be glorified by Hitler and he would certainly say “they deserved it.” The only ones supporting Nazi behavior are liberals who continue to uplift Hamas’ cause and demonize the Jews.
The truth is that a massive propaganda machine is feeding lies to the public about Israel and the Jews. Hamas stages scenes showing supposed starving people and leaks these photos to the media. Additionally, Hamas steals shipments of food that Israel provides for the Palestinians.
Truckload after truckload is delivered to Gaza and then stolen. Additionally, the UN will not deliver food provided by Israel. When this happens, the food doesn’t reach the Palestinians who need it.
As far as blaming Israel for deaths of Palestinian civilians during the war, the truth is that Israel always warns before it bombs an area. Hamas, however, tells the people to stay in the area so that when bombs hit, they can blame Israel. Keep in mind that in Islam, to die as a martyr is the greatest honor. Meanwhile, Hamas deliberately hides their own rockets and weaponry in schools and hospitals knowing that Israel will avoid those locations at all costs. They use any money received to fund their terror plans and build tunnels under the ground. Their biggest goal is to kill Jews (which is what Islam teaches). FOR MORE INFO READ THIS ARTICLE.
Islam’s campaign to get liberals to shun and demonize the Jews is working unfortunately. All the recent antisemitic attacks are proof of that.
Charlie Kirk and other conservatives who defend Israel and the Jews are the same people who are being called racists, fascists, and Nazis by the Left. These name-calling liberals obviously do not understand history or propaganda.
Rewriting the Bible
Interestingly enough, Hitler tried to rewrite the Bible to suit his needs. The modern-day liberal movement is trying to rewrite the Bible as well by saying that homosexuality and transgenderism is not a moral problem. The sad thing is that there are even churches nowadays who will not teach that the LGBTQ lifestyle is a sin and even promote it.
Even more telling is that the liberal movement will admit that murder is wrong, but not when it comes to innocent babies. Thou shalt not murder doesn’t apply to babies in the mother’s womb. All churches should be addressing this, but many avoid it so they don’t upset the congregation who may have some liberal views.
Covid Fascism
It’s also ridiculous that liberals call Charlie Kirk and other Christians, “fascists” because during the Covid pandemic the liberals supported locking everyone down, forcing masks on them, and mandating vaccines. This is as fascist as you can get! They were in agreement with keeping the unvaccinated out of public places. They were ready to put the unvaccinated into permanent quarantine for their “crimes against science.” It was mainly liberals who supported vaccine passports, not conservatives. Of course, the liberals were proven wrong when the data came out that the vaccines are killing and maiming people. Their miracle shot ended up being a complete failure as it didn’t even keep people from getting Covid or dying from it. Charlie Kirk and other conservatives were simply trying to warn people that the mandates and draconian measures taken during the pandemic were unconstitutional and harmful. For that he was called a fascist.
Indoctrination and Propaganda
Charlie Kirk went to college campuses to speak because he knew the youth were being targeted by the most propaganda. It’s sad to say, but colleges today have become like indoctrination camps. Hitler brainwashed the Hitler youth, but we have some university professors nowadays who teach students that having an abortion is a right. They teach kids about critical race theory, which causes division rather than unity. They teach that there are twenty different genders. They stir up anti-Israel hatred.
Charlie Loved People and He Tried to Educate Others
The truth is that Charlie Kirk was not trying to harm those who have liberal ideas such as supporting abortion, the LGBTQ agenda, and vaccine mandates. He was trying to educate them. Whenever he held an event, he welcomed questions. He was never rude or unkind when he debated people.
Charlie’s main goal was for people to understand God’s laws and our constitutional rights, but also for them to come to Jesus and repent.
Charlie didn’t hate anyone. In fact, he had a big heart for those he talked to. If he spoke to a transgender person, he didn’t treat them badly. He prayed for that person and hoped they would turn their lives over to Jesus.
For myself, I don’t hate anyone. I love people no matter what political views they hold. It’s the celebration of sin that I have a problem with. I know that Jesus forgives all who ask and call upon his name. Even if someone has extreme liberal ideas, God can turn their hearts to him. He will reveal sin and help that person change their thinking. Oftentimes, people are deceived either by propaganda, or by other people who have influenced them. They are also misinformed by the liberal educational system and the mainstream media. The enemy of this world, Satan, is also the great deceiver, and his demons work night and day to spread lies.
I am praying for the young man who shot Charlie, as well as his family. If you read the history of Tyler Robinson, the disturbed man who took Charlie’s life, it’s obvious that he was brainwashed by “woke” culture and believed the lies of the enemy. The devil seeks to steal, kill, and destroy in any way he can. Robinson was living with his transgender boyfriend and he had a fixation with furries so its easy to see he had some serious issues.
We all sin. We all have problems. We live in a world where up is down and down is up. Charlie understood that. But he also knew that truth was the answer and the salvation that comes through Jesus Christ.
Do Not Love the World
Jesus tells us that we are not supposed to follow the world. He also says that when we go against what the world is doing, we will be hated. The verses of John 15:18-25 tell us:
“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated me without reason.’”
Charlie did not love the world and this is why he was hated by those who do not want to hear the truth. He was shot in the neck and that is where the voice box is located. Those who hate biblical values wanted to silence Charlie Kirk.
Well, I have news for them. The Bible says, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the earth and dies, it remains alone (just one grain, never more). BUT IF IT DIES, IT PRODUCES MUCH GRAIN AND YIELDS A HARVEST.
Other translations say, it bears much fruit, or it will produce many seeds.
In effect, when that one wheat seed dies, then it will produce much, much more than when it was alive.
The assassination of Charlie Kirk has awakened a movement called WE ARE ALL CHARLIE KIRK NOW. If the enemy thinks he has won, I have news for him and for those who stand with him.
GOD WINS!
Just read the Bible and you will see that all of this evil is going to be dealt with when Jesus Christ returns to earth! Until then, when a faithful follower of Jesus Christ falls to the earth and dies like a seed of wheat…….guess what? That follower produces a massive harvest!
The enemy wanted to silence the truth, but now the TRUTH WILL BECOME LOUDER as others take on Charlie’s cause. The enemy has lit a fire that cannot be put out.
What’s amazing to me is now that Charlie gave his life for the cause of Christ, there are thousands upon thousands (maybe millions) who are now watching his shows and podcasts to see what his message was all about! People who would have never known who Charlie is, or what he spoke about, are now hearing him speak even from the grave. The wonderful thing, however, is that his body may be in the ground, but his spirit is in the awesomeness of heaven. He has eternal life!
Many are wondering if we are heading into to a physical civil war. That remains to be seen.
Total Solar Eclipses of 2017 and 2024
I am thinking about the two SOLAR eclipses that bisected our nation in 2017 and 2024. The first solar eclipse in 2017 only touched U.S. soil and its path cut our nation in half. You can read about this eclipse here—-the blogpost was written in 2017, but it contains quite a bit of info about the details of the path of the eclipse and spiritual implications. I will give you the highlights about these eclipses and some of their some eye-opening details.
The August 21, 2017 total solar eclipse touched ONLY United States land and made its debut at 10:15 am in Lincoln City, Oregon. The path of totality touched 14 states, before it exited in South Carolina, not very far from Ft. Sumter, which is where the first battle of the Civil War began. SEE MAP HERE.
If you look at the 2017 total solar eclipse path you will see that it cuts our nation in half. Not only that, it arrived during the biblical month of Elul that year. This is known as the month of repentance on the biblical calendar. During the days of Elul the trumpet (shofar) is blown in synagogues around the world as a reminder to wake up and repent. So essentially, this eclipse hit just as those trumpets were blasting! The message was clear: WAKE UP AND REPENT.
Charlie Died During the Month of Repentance on the Biblical Calendar known as Elul
It’s important to note that Charlie Kirk was assassinated during the month of Elul, precisely when those trumpets are blowing as a call to repentance. The demonic spirit of assassination in our nation is breaking us apart. It’s time to repent!
Charlie’s funeral will be held at the end of Elul. In fact, the service is at 11:00 a.m. on September 21, which is Elul 28 on the biblical calendar. That evening when the sun goes down, it will become Elul 29. This is the last day of repentance before the Feast of Trumpets is ushered in. Of course we all know that Charlie’s voice was like a trumpet, warning the nation to repent and turn to Jesus!
Our national sins are what’s tearing the country apart. The biggest ones are those that Charlie Kirk addressed: abortion, the LGBTQ agenda (gay marriage/transgenderism), sexual grooming, pornography, and the glorification of fornication.
At the time of the August 21, 2017 total solar eclipse, Donald Trump was president and the name TRUMP means “alarm,” “wake up,” “heed the warning.”
Even more interesting is that the prophet Jonah went into the sinful city of Nineveh during the month of Elul. His message was repentance. There was a total solar eclipse that had passed over Nineveh prior to Jonah’s arrival so this got the attention of the people living there. Solar eclipses in those days were a sign that something bad could happen. The people of Nineveh heeded the warning and they were spared at that time. Unfortunately they would go back to their pagan ways and eventually be destroyed.
Seven years after the first solar eclipse of 2017 another total solar eclipse hit our land in 2024. On April 8, 2024, the eclipse path bisected the United States (cut it in half). View the map of both eclipses here.
This time, the path traveled through Mexico first and then entered the United States. From there it traveled into Canada, gliding through the provinces of New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador. From there it headed out into the ocean, passing not too far from where the Titanic sank. This famous luxury liner sank in 1912, but it’s location has been pinpointed at 400 nautical miles from Newfoundland, Canada. The ship is in two pieces, lying 13,000 feet below the water.
Our nation is being split apart like the Titanic because there are two groups of people in America right now: those who follow Jesus and those who don’t. There are those who want to live by biblical values and those who don’t.
If you put the paths of the 2017 eclipse and the 2024 eclipse you see that it forms a big X over the United States. It’s like saying “X marks the spot.” It also reminds me of the Confederate flag with its large X.
The April 8 date that the 2024 total solar eclipse fell on lines up with some interesting historical dates. For instance, on April 8, 1864, the United States Senate passed the 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution abolishing slavery. The House of Representatives would go on to pass it in January 1865, and it would be adopted in December 1865.

General Robert E. Lee was surrounded at Appomottox Court House at the close of the Civil War on April 8, 1865 which led to his surrender on April 9.
Strangely enough, on April 8, 1997, it was revealed in a New York Times article that the Titanic didn’t sink because a 300-foot long gash as most believed, but instead it was actually a small area of no more than 12-13 square feet.
Like I said, I do not know if our nation will experience a civil war, but I would be praying. We know God hears our prayers and we should never give up hope. In the end, the message here is that sin has enslaved our nation and Jesus wants to set us free. Those who follow liberalism are deceived by it, but Jesus loves them and can set them free if they are willing to come to him and repent.
Charlie Kirk’s death teaches us that we must keep fighting the darkness no matter what! The light—Jesus— always wins in the end.
It’s also worth mentioning that a third eclipse hit our nation as well. This one occurred after the 2017 eclipse and before the 2024 eclipse.
On October 14, 2023 an annular (ring of fire) solar eclipse crossed over the U.S. states of Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas was also full of spiritual implications. I wrote about that here. I went to Albuquerque, New Mexico for this one. It wasn’t a total blackout of the sun, but it was still an astonishing thing to see, occurring just two days after the 531st anniversary of when Columbus discovered the New World. I witnessed it with over 100,000 people at the biggest hot air balloon fiesta in the world. I won’t go into all the details of this eclipse, but if you are interested click on this link.
Back in 2023 I watched the annular solar eclipse that passed through the United States from a hot air balloon festival in New Mexico. It was October 14, and on that day, I saw the most beautiful sight. Hundreds of hot air balloons being launched into the air. My husband spotted the best balloon of them all.
It was the JESUS balloon. When I saw the balloon ascending in the sky, I couldn’t help picturing myself ascending with Jesus one day.
It’s interesting because the date October 14 stayed on my mind even after the festival in 2023. I kept thinking, “I saw the Jesus balloon on October 14.” I even wrote it down.
After Charlie Kirk was killed, I noticed that his birthday is October 14.
So, the day that I saw the eclipse and the Jesus balloon, it was Charlie’s 30th birthday.
Our beloved Charlie has gone to heaven to be with Jesus. He didn’t ascend in a hot air balloon, but he died doing what God called him to do and Jesus greeted him in heaven. What a wonderful welcome he must have received.
Charlie died defending the truth. Some people may not like the truth, but oftentimes this is because they don’t want to recognize sin.
My heart breaks for those who are deceived and therefore, harbor hate in their hearts. But even if a person has been knee-deep in sin, Jesus can turn their life around.
The death of Charlie Kirk should remind us all that there is often a price to be paid for speaking truth.
The question is, are we willing to pay it?
Those of us who speak the truth can honor Charlie’s memory.
Let us all finish our race well like he did—no matter what it costs.
