I’m excited to announce that my latest book, Psalm 91: Under the Wings of Jesus has been officially released! It’s been several years in the making, but finally it’s ready to fly.
Many people have asked, “What’s your book about?” Well, Psalm 91 of course! That’s the short answer. I’ve written a description on my Psalm 91 page/tab which is located on the homepage. But, I want to share a few personal notes about the book, and why I decided to write it.
In 2012 I was horseback riding in beautiful Bryce Canyon–located in Utah. Little did I know I would be involved in an accident that almost took my life. During the experience I prayed part of Psalm 91–the verse that says, “He will give his angels charge over you.” Thankfully, I survived the incident, which involved a 2,000 pound horse almost crushing me. On that day I realized God’s Word is a powerful shield.
From that time forward, I began experiencing more amazing connections to Psalm 91. Over the years I journaled all the wonderful things the Lord showed me through the psalm that I refer to as “the 911 of Jesus.” When the Covid-19 crisis occurred, I realized the time had come to share all that I’d learned.
The book will explain the deeper meaning of Psalm 91, as well as the supernatural stories connected to it. It also shares personal accounts of real life people who dwell in the shelter of the Most High. I include many lessons related to airplanes because they have wings!
The biggest goal of the book, however, is to teach you to dwell under Jesus’ wings. I’m not going to lie–in the process of writing the book, I had a difficult time abiding under the Lord’s shelter. The enemy attacks most when you’re doing what God called you to do. If that’s the case, then I must have hit the bullseye LOL, because I don’t think I’ve ever experienced so much spiritual warfare. But all the attacks provided ample opportunities and time to put into practice what I’d written! I found myself rereading chapters over and over so I could digest the information, and really dwell in the truth.

It’s great to have a friend around when you’re facing spiritual attacks. My friend Karen encouraged me during the course of writing the book and provided amazing insight the Lord shared with her. I’m going to share an awesome acrostic she created using the letters in the word WINGS. The acrostic is infused with strategies and reminders describing how to dwell under Jesus’ wings. Certainly none of us can do all the things that are listed in the acrostic each and every day. But, the ideas will keep you in the right frame of mind so you can start each day in the shelter of the Most High.
Every truth written in the WINGS acrostic comes from biblical scripture. In fact, there are 91 citations in the acrostic! What a great number!!! I have included the acrostic with citations, and one without. I also provided the list of verses that correspond to the citations. I hope the acrostic will remind you of all the ways to dwell under Jesus’ wings.

I have included three documents that you can print if you choose. See attachments at the end of this post.
Every time I see a bird flying, I can’t help but think of Jesus and Psalm 91.
He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge. Psalm 91:4
Jesus is ready to bring you under his shelter any time you are in need. When he died on the cross he opened his arms like mighty wings. If you haven’t received him as Lord and Savior, it’s never too late. Just make that 911 call to him and he will answer.
Are you frightened, downtrodden, anxious, depressed, lonely or worn-out? Psalm 91 will remind you of all the ways Jesus can provide a hiding place. Don’t wait! Take refuge with the Savior and soar to new heights.
