Thomas Jefferson once said, “If people let the government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny.” These strong words, spoken hundreds of years ago, seem fitting for the times we are living in right now. As threats of Covid mandates and restrictions loom over the lives of everyone around the world, one wonders what Thomas Jefferson might have said if he were living in the year 2021. Numerous countries are experiencing what many deem “medical tyranny” as governments are seeking to enforce their solutions to the Covid-19 pandemic. Israel is one of those countries that leads the charge in making sure every citizen is following their plan for vaccination.
On July 22, 2021 Israeli Prime Minster Naftali Bennett issued a warning to his country: “One million Israelis are refusing to get vaccinated…They are endangering the entire population. They are endangering the other 8 million citizens in the country.” Addressing his nation from Tel Aviv, Bennett stated that the government’s goal is to allow Israelis to live their lives freely without having to impose Covid-19 lockdown measures. “We want to have an open and safe country. We are managing this campaign responsibly… and on the basis of facts and data,” Bennett declared.
Bennett’s statement poses a huge problem because the “facts and data” he’s referring to are presented from only one side. This is creating two classes of people in Israel: the vaccinated and the unvaccinated.Regardless of your stance on the vaccine, something that must be considered is the fact that they are still in the experimental stages. According to clinicaltrials.gov, Moderna’s trials are not complete until October 27, 2022. Johnson and Johnson’s are complete January 2, 2023. Astra Zeneca’s finish on February 14, 2023. Pfizer’s completion date is May 2, 2023. The vaccines are still under an EUA (emergency use authorization), which means they are not FDA approved. The FDA’s website says: “Under an EUA, FDA may allow the use of unapproved medical products.”
In addition, thousands of deaths are being reported by systems which track vaccine injuries and deaths such as VAERS in the United States, UK Yellow Card in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, and EudraVigilance for countries in the European Economic Area (EEA) to name a few. In addition, thousands of incidences of Bell’s Palsy, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, blood clots, heart issues, miscarriages and neurological problems have been reported.
Vaccines usually go through many stages of testing, which can last as long as five years. This has not been the case with any of the vaccines on the market for Covid. In addition, many doctors around the world are attesting to treatments for Covid-19 which induce recovery such as hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin and budesonide. These treatments, however, are not widely used in places like Israel. Even in the United States, many people do not know they are available because they are not commonly prescribed by doctors and the media silences those who tout their effectiveness.
In the case of Israel, there is a clear conflict of interest because an exclusive deal was made with Pfizer. Israel paid a premium price to receive plentiful supplies of Pfizer’s vaccines. In exchange, they would become a testing ground, providing data and statistics on the effectiveness of Pfizer’s vaccine. In January of 2021 Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “Israel will be a global model state, …Israel will share with Pfizer and with the entire world the statistical data that will help develop strategies for defeating the coronavirus.” Israel’s health minister, Yuli Edelstein stated, “We said to Pfizer…that the moment you give us the vaccine, we’ll be able to vaccinate at the speed they’ve never heard of.” The goal was clear–to test it on the entire population.
The question looming over all of this is monumental. What happens to the medical and religious rights of an entire nation of people when their own leaders volunteer them to be used as a testing ground for pharmaceutical companies that stand to make billions? How is it ok to strongly coerce people to get a vaccine that has not been proven to be safe, even by the FDA? In his speech on July 22 Naftali Bennett said: “If you know a vaccine refuser, convince them, explain to them that they are risking others’ health…Don’t give up on them.” I would call this strong coercion.
Bennett made it clear in his public statement that he believes those who refuse the vaccine are endangering the lives and freedoms of Israeli citizens. He lays out a series of what many are calling “punishments” for unvaccinated Israelis. For instance, they will not be able to attend large events unless they’ve received a negative Covid test result, which must be paid for out of pocket. Bennett stated: “Those who refuse vaccines are endangering their health, those around them and the freedom of every Israeli citizen. They are endangering our freedom to work, the freedom of our children to learn and the freedom to hold celebrations with the family. Those who refuse vaccines hurt us all because if all of us were vaccinated, we would all be able to maintain daily life. But if one million Israelis continue to not get vaccinated, this will oblige the eight million others to shut themselves in their homes. Therefore, the (Corona) Cabinet decided today that as of August 8, those who refuse vaccines will not be able to go to the cinema, the theater, the synagogue, the amusement park, the soccer game or any activity with over 100 people, indoors or out, unless they bring negative results from a coronavirus test, at their expense. Yes, they will fully bear the costs of the test.” Bennett also explained that the unvaccinated will endure stricter quarantine requirements.
Bennett emphasized that every citizen over age 12, who doesn’t have a medical reason not to, must go get vaccinated. This is shocking when you consider the many cases of myocarditis that have been reported in teenagers in Israel and around the world. In the United States alone, there have been at least 389 reports of heart problems attributed to the Pfizer vaccine in 12-17 year-olds. Highly respected pathologist Dr. Roger Hodkinson gave dire warnings about the damage that is occurring to the hearts of young people by saying that “myocarditis is never mild…It’s an inflammation of the heart muscle–the pump of the body…the big thing about heart muscles and heart muscle fibers is that they do not regenerate.” Hodkinson cautions that irreversible damage can occur. Besides myocarditis, blood clotting disorders have also been reported in 12-17 year-olds, as well as more than 2,000 cases of anaphylaxis.
There’s also well-established data showing that young children and adolescents do not experience severe cases of Covid. Young adults and children in particular, have robust immunity to not only Covid, but other diseases. Thus, there is no need to force vaccinations.
One of Bennett’s statements was quite alarming. “I respect different views, but there’s a time and a place in which this discussion needs to stop.” Actually, when it comes to our health, discussion should never stop! The truth is that there needs to be an open forum where concerns about vaccine safety can be discussed from many perspectives, as well as alternative treatments. Doctors and scientists who voice their opinions are silenced, while drug companies like Pfizer are given a free pass. Even Robert Malone, the inventor of mRNA technology, is being silenced for speaking out and asking for open dialogue about the safety of the vaccines.
Renowned cardiologist Peter McCullough, along with many other doctors, have said that early treatment of Covid-19 is vital to helping patients recover. This includes the use of monoclonal antibodies, hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin and colchicine. McCullough testified before the Texas Senate Committee of Health and Human services and presented evidence detailing how information pertaining to the successful treatment of Covid-19 is being suppressed by the media, as well as in the medical community. This is happening all around the world.
The American Society of Physicians and Surgeons offers a wide array of at home Covid treatments and provides a list of doctors who will enlist early treatment for their patients. In addition, America’s Frontline Doctors have been at the forefront when it comes to educating Americans about the use of hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin and budesonide for the treatment of Covid-19.
In a country like Israel, where the scars of the Holocaust still linger, it’s sad to see such blatant division when it comes to medical freedom. Two classes of citizens have been created. When we see this going on in another free nation, we must wonder where our own country is headed. In France and the United Kingdom, protests continue as people struggle to hold on to their medical and religious rights. In some nations such as the Philippines, there doesn’t seem to be much choice. Their leader, Rodrigo Duterte, bluntly states, “You choose vaccine or I will have you jailed.”
In the end, there are going to be different views when it comes to vaccination. But we should always have the freedom to look at the issue from all angles and debate it publicly without fear of censorship, shaming or punishment. Doctors, scientists, leaders and even the average soccer mom, should not be shut down simply because they do not agree with what the media, government and the CDC are saying about the vaccines. Freedom of speech is critical to maintaining health freedom and keeping the public’s trust. In addition, we should be given free choice without coercion. If we lose the right to decide what medical treatments our bodies are subjected to, then what other rights will be taken?

Lord, we pray that our freedom to choose what medical treatments go into our bodies would be respected and protected.
Lord, we pray that the culture of division between the vaccinated and unvaccinated would be eliminated.
Lord, we pray for open dialogue when it comes to treatments for Covid-19. We pray that doctors, nurses, lawmakers and the average citizen would be given the opportunity to present their side without fear of being ostracized or censored.
Lord, we pray that lawmakers around the world would stand up for the medical rights and freedoms of their people.
