I’ve been thinking about cows lately—you heard that right- COWS. I know, it’s kind of weird, but it’s true nonetheless. It happened at Christmastime when I’m usually distracted by lights, food and gift-giving. But even though these things consumed most of my attention, I was still hearing the still small voice of the Holy Spirit reminding me of COWS.
You’re probably thinking, “Maybe it was your own brain reminding you of cows for some odd reason. In fact, maybe you need a good long vacation so you can clear your head!!!” A few times I thought the same thing, but then little “coincidences” would happen to confirm this word that was on my heart. One night I had a dream where I saw a beautiful Egyptian bracelet and after I woke up, I felt it was somehow related to what the Holy Spirit was reminding me of.
I didn’t get the connection until a few days after my dream. I just happened to be reading a devotional and it mentioned the story of Joseph and his brothers. It talked about how his brothers had to come to Egypt to buy grain from him during a famine. When I read about Egypt, a little light bulb lit up in my head as I thought of my dream of the Egyptian bracelet. Then, I remembered something very important about Joseph–he interpreted dreams. That detail was the key because suddenly I realized Joseph interpreted a dream about cows! Ah ha! I knew I had to investigate.
I began reading at Genesis 37, which describes when Joseph was betrayed by his brothers. They contemplated killing him, but instead sold him to the Ishmaelites. He was taken to Egypt as a slave.
I continued reading chapters 39 and 40, which describe how Joseph ended up in the house of an Egyptian master named Potiphar. At first, he gains much favor with his master, but then he is wrongfully accused of raping Potiphar’s wife. As a result, he is sent to jail. While there, he gains favor with the jailor and ends up interpreting the dreams of the Pharaoh’s cupbearer and baker. Joseph tells the cupbearer that his dream means he will be restored to his position with the Egyptian King. The baker, however, is told he will be impaled. Joseph asks the cupbearer to remember him when he is released from prison and is restored to his position. (Both of Joseph’s interpretations end up coming to pass).
Initially, the cupbearer does not remember Joseph. But two years later, Pharaoh has a dream–actually he has two dreams. Genesis 41:1-8 (NKJV) records the details:
“Then it came to pass, at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh had a dream; and behold, he stood by the river. Suddenly there came up out of the river seven cows, fine looking and fat; and they fed in the meadow. Then behold, seven other cows came up after them out of the river, ugly and gaunt, and stood by the other cows on the bank of the river. And the ugly and gaunt cows ate up the seven fine looking and fat cows. So, Pharaoh awoke. He slept and dreamed a second time; and suddenly seven heads of grain came up on one stalk, plump and good. Then behold, seven thin heads, blighted by the east wind, sprang up after them. And the seven thin heads devoured the seven plump and full heads. So Pharaoh awoke, and indeed, it was a dream. Now it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt and all its wise men. And Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them for Pharaoh.”
And here is where everything changes for Joseph. Suddenly, the cupbearer remembers how Joseph interpreted his dream, as well as the baker’s when he was in prison. He explains this to Pharaoh and emphasizes the fact that Joseph’s interpretation was completely accurate for both dreams.
Genesis 41:14-16 (NLT) continues the story:
“Pharaoh sent for Joseph at once, and he was quickly brought from the prison. After he shaved and changed his clothes, he went in and stood before Pharaoh. Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, ‘I had a dream last night, and no one here can tell me what it means. But I have heard that when you hear about a dream you can interpret it.’
‘It is beyond my power to do this,’ Joseph replied. ‘But God can tell you what it means and set you at ease.’”
So, Pharaoh told Joseph all the details of his dreams about the cows and grain.
Joseph responded, “Both of Pharaoh’s dreams mean the same thing. God is telling Pharaoh in advance what he is about to do. The seven healthy cows and the seven healthy heads of grain both represent seven years of prosperity. The seven thin, scrawny cows that came up later and the seven thin heads of grain, withered by the east wind, represent seven years of famine.”
“This will happen just as I have described it, for God has revealed to Pharaoh in advance what he is about to do. The next seven years will be a period of great prosperity throughout the land of Egypt. But afterward there will be seven years of famine so great that all the prosperity will be forgotten in Egypt. Famine will destroy the land. This famine will be so severe that even the memory of the good years will be erased. As for having two similar dreams, it means that these events have been decreed by God, and he will soon make them happen.” Genesis 41:25-32, NLT
Next Joseph gives Pharaoh some wise advice. He tells him to appoint commissioners over the land to take a fifth of the harvest of Egypt during the seven years of abundance. This food should be held in reserve for the country, to be used during the seven years of famine.
Pharaoh is pleased with Joseph’s wisdom and his plan. He put Joseph in charge of his palace, and even his people, making him second in command under Pharaoh. All authority was given to Joseph to make sure the food would be harvested and stored properly in each city of Egypt. He would also be in charge of the distribution.
When the famine finally came, Joseph’s planning saved multitudes of lives. People traveled from all over, including Joseph’s own brothers, to buy food from him. That part of the story is for another blog post, and boy is it good!!!!
For now, I want to focus on the famine because for several years the Lord has reminded me that in the coming years, Christians must take refuge under the wings of Jesus. The Covid pandemic was one huge reason (I’ve blogged about the details before). But I’ve also sensed that more problems are coming, which could involve food, supplies and inflation. I’m sure you’ve noticed that prices have gone up quite a bit at the stores. Recently it was reported that inflation jumped 7% annually in December 2021. In addition, I am starting to see bare shelves at the grocery stores.
I’m not trying to alarm you. I cannot predict what will happen obviously. But I do sense the Lord reminding me to do some preparation. Like Joseph, who stored grain for Egypt, I am storing some extra food and water. I’m not a “doomsday prepper.” I don’t have an underground bunker stocked from wall to wall with provisions. Truthfully, I do believe that whatever happens, the Lord will provide. I wrote a blogpost/article about the raven the Lord showed me back in October 2021 and it was confirmation that he will take care of my family, as well as those who put their trust in Him. As wickedness surrounded Elijah, God provided ravens to feed the persecuted prophet. You can read about that here.
Right now, we are in a Shemitah year, which began September 7, 2021, and we are already seeing some economic shakings. One of the indicators of this shaking is seen in the rampant inflation taking place across all realms of the market. Also, I’m sure you’ve heard of the supply problems that involve the back-up of shipping containers in Los Angeles and Long Beach. In addition, in November 2021 it was reported that the United States had a shortage of more than 80,000 truck drivers when compared to before the Covid pandemic. Chris Spear (President of the American Trucking Association) told members of Congress that if the vaccine mandate goes through, the supply chain will go down. This is because many truckers will quit, or be fired.
The mandates make no sense when the “vaccines” do not prevent transmission and they do not prevent Covid. They do not prevent hospitalization or death either. In Canada, for instance, there are provinces where the fully vaccinated make up the majority of hospitalizations. The same thing is happening in the United Kingdom.
Even though the injections do not prevent the spread of Covid, world leaders continue their tirade against the unvaccinated. For example, on September 17, 2021, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said “They are extremists who don’t believe in science, they’re often misogynists, also often racists… It’s a small group that muscles in, and we have to make a choice in terms of leaders, in terms of the country. Do we tolerate these people?”
It’s hard to believe Canada was once the place of maple syrup and the northern lights. Now it seems like it’s become a country of bitter extremes and darkness.
In America, the Supreme Court heard arguments challenging the OSHA vaccine mandates on January 7th. It was disappointing to hear false claims being spread by Judge Sotomayor who said 100,000 children were in serious condition with Covid. Even the corrupt CDC had to correct her on this in a public statement! But overall, many of the judges did not know the real facts about Covid. Thankfully, they did block the mandate that would require all private businesses with 100 or more employees to get the Covid shots. Unfortunately, they still allowed the Biden administration (aka the Nazi Administration) to enforce a rule that will require health care workers at facilities that participate in the Medicare and Medicaid programs to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. The only silver lining is that religious and medical exemptions will be allowed. But still, I’m sure they will force testing on these poor people every week! How ridiculous when the vaccinated can spread Covid just as easy- actually data is showing they can spread it more. But it’s the unvaccinated that have to be tested????? And for goodness sakes, what about natural immunity??? The studies have proven time and time again that natural immunity blows vaccine immunity out of the water.
Most news media keep blaming Covid for the shortages, but make no mistake, this is a planned operation. Whether you want to hear this or not, the Covid plan-demic was set in motion to start a chain reaction in the economy. The next link could be the supply chain. The end goal, of course, is to tank the entire economy. I don’t claim to know the timing, but I can see the maps they’ve left behind. It’s easy to see their final destination.
A story from Zero Hedge posted on January 14, 2022 had this to report:
“With sailing schedules already facing delays of about a week, freight forwarders warn of the impact on already back-logged gateways in Europe and the US and is also why HSBC economists are warning that the world economy could be headed for the “mother of all” supply chain shocks if the highly infectious omicron variant which is already swamping much of the global economy spreads across Asia, especially China, at which point disruption to manufacturing will be inevitable. Temporary, one would hope, but hugely disruptive all the same.“
It goes on to say:
“While the outbreak of omicron in China has been small compared to other nations (if one believes China’s official data, which is a big if) authorities are taking no chances, especially with China’s continued “zero-covid” policy. In recent weeks scattered infections of both the delta and omicron variants have already triggered shutdowns to clothing factories and gas deliveries around one of China’s biggest seaports in Ningbo, disruptions at computer chip manufacturers in the locked-down city of Xi’an, and a second city-wide lockdown in Henan province Tuesday.”
An article by James Rickards says,
“Most people think the supply chain is just part of the global economy. That’s not entirely true. The supply chain is the global economy. There isn’t a single good or service of any kind that does not arrive through a supply chain. Not one. If the global supply chain is broken, then the global economy is broken. That increasingly appears to be the case.”
For background, James Rickards is an investment banker with 40 years of experience. He has also worked for the Federal Reserve and has a long list of clients who include institutional investors. He has also testified before the U.S. House of Representatives about the 2008 financial crisis. These are just a few things he’s done.
Though his article touches on vaccine mandates and how they can affect the supply chain/economy, the takeaway is this:
“For 30 years, the goal of supply chain management has been efficiency, usually defined as the elimination of redundancy, inventory and latency (more on that below). That’s fine in the short run but it results in a system that is brittle and has no tolerance for even small disruptions. The nature of complex systems is that small causes have tremendous impacts to the point of total collapse. It is possible that one or more parties chose to disrupt the system intentionally without realizing how vulnerable the entire system really was. This combination of intentional acts and unintended consequences is a staple of history, including the outbreak of World War I.”
The point I’m trying to make is that the supply chain is fragile and whether it’s viruses, mandates or anything else the globalists want to conjure up, the system is vulnerable. So when we see inflation beginning and supplies slowing down, we should take notice and of course pray.
Who is trying to tank the economy you ask? The globalists of course. World leaders like Emmanuel Macron, Angela Merkel, Joe Biden, Justin Trudeau and Xi Jinping are the small fish trying to bring all the pieces together into their giant fishing net. The sharks are people like Klaus Schwab (of the World Economic Forum), Bill Gates and George Soros–though they are just a few of the ones we see and know about. There are many hidden leaders in the shadows. Global organizations like the World Economic Forum, the WHO, United Nations, GAVI (Global Vaccine Alliance), the World Bank, the Rockefeller Foundation and the European Union are key power players, along with corporations such as BlackRock and Vanguard. All these people/groups want to Build Back Better by constructing a Tower of Babel. They want to take down the current economy so they can build up their own, which is controlled by them!
Taking down the economy is a sure-fire way to gain control. Think about Nazi Germany. An economic collapse allowed Nazism to flourish as people looked to the government to save them from their economic woes. The Covid crisis has caused fear to become the real disease. This disease has driven people to take experimental injections and accept the reality of vaccine passports. Imagine if an economic/supply chain collapse were to happen on top of that? The scary part is that it’s possible it could be blamed on those who haven’t received the injections.
But if they don’t succeed with the Covid narrative, they will find a new avenue to instill fear and division.
The real goal is to take these fears and fuel totalitarianism. The reasoning for this is simple and comes straight out of a history textbook–see an excerpt below from an actual textbook: (excerpted from Technocracy.news)
“Totalitarian leaders often create ‘enemies of the state’ to blame for things that go wrong. Frequently these enemies are members of religious or ethnic groups. Often these groups are easily identified and are subjected to campaigns of terror and violence. They may be forced to live in certain areas or are subjected to rules that apply only to them.”
If it’s not religious or ethnic groups being labeled as enemies of the state, it can be those who are considered “diseased.” Just consider the propaganda in WW2 that declared Jews were infested with lice that carried typhus. If you don’t believe me, click on this link for a history lesson.
I do not know if this will happen. With omicron being a milder version of Covid, maybe we will not get to this point. Even the corrupt mainstream media is now saying Covid could become endemic, rather than a pandemic. But, at the same time, there are still many who blame the unvaccinated for everything that’s happening, including the failing economy. This is because they have believed the rhetoric of the media and trusted misinformed doctors for too long. In Europe, the thinking has already gone totalitarian with places like Austria and Germany locking down the unvaccinated. The once-friendly continent of Australia is locking people up who have Covid, or are suspected of having it. In France, the unvaccinated are being shamed.
Totalitarian regimes love to create division. If they can divide, they can conquer. However, no matter what they are thinking, or what they do, we should not believe we are helpless and hopeless. Wherever this goes, Jesus is on our side and we know who wins this war.
The story of Joseph feeding the people of Egypt and the surrounding nations with grain (bread) is quite symbolic and encouraging in many ways. Firstly, God provided a way for the people to be fed. He used a trustworthy leader named Joseph, who had been prepared by God himself to take on the challenge of the famine. Actually, Joseph is an archetype of Jesus because he provides bread to all the nations. Jesus, of course, is the Bread of Life, who feeds the people of all nations who seek him for this miraculous, life-saving food. There are more parallels, but for the sake of brevity I won’t list them all.
Right now, we are surrounded by many leaders both locally and globally. But, NONE of them will be able to provide a perfect, righteous government. None of them will be able to provide “bread” to the whole world. Why? Because mankind is sinful. The only righteous form of government will come from Jesus himself, and will occur when his feet step on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. Then he will take full control of the earth and rule with complete justice and righteousness.
Until then, we must keep looking up for the return of our Savior–Jesus. Before he returns to set up his kingdom, things are not going to get better for this world. The Bible tells us in Daniel 7 and Revelation 13 that an authoritarian government will emerge and it will be led by a shrewd and tyrannical world leader known as the Antichrist. The nations will latch on to this leader and give him a great big bear hug. He will promise peace and security.
On a side note, we should realize that all we keep hearing from leaders these days is that everything is “for our safety.” The masks–the constant Covid testing–the “vaccines”–the travel restrictions– the mandates…..they are all FOR OUR SAFETY AND SECURITY. Sorry, but that’s a big sign that they are simply precursors and shadows of the coming One World System of Complete Control. It’s designed to prepare the world for following an even more dangerous narrative that’s coming–and it will create the opposite of peace and security.
Daniel 8:25 says this about the coming world leader known as the Antichrist. “By peace he shall destroy many.” This is because what he will offer is a false peace and false security. 1 Thessalonians 5:3 tell us, “But when they say peace and safety sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.”
I can relate to that verse because when I gave birth to my first son, I almost had him at home! I did not have many labor pains prior to his quick arrival. But when they finally came, they were so sudden and painful, I barely had time to react. I panicked and screamed for my husband as the pain sped up in a matter of minutes. Quickly, he called the ambulance. I barely made it to the hospital and to this day I don’t know how I didn’t have him on the ambulance. When they wheeled me into the emergency room, I gave one big push and it was done!!! This whole scenario unfolded in under an hour!!!!! I know this is not typical, especially for a first baby, but I will never forget how fast it all went. When I read 1 Thessalonians 5:3, it reminds me that many people cannot see what’s coming and they do not feel or recognize the labor pains that are already here. When it all hits, it will be too late. The Antichrist will be in their midst and the One World plan will be in full motion.
I do believe the Bride of Christ is raptured before the 7 Year Tribulation where the Antichrist is revealed. This is just one reason why TODAY is the day of salvation. The time is ticking and the stage is being set. Until then, like Joseph, we have to trust that God has our back.
Recently I had a dream where I was feeling very stressed. At some point, I doubled over into the fetal position. But on my back, I could see an etching of Jesus on the cross. It was as if to say, “I died for you. I have taken your burdens on me. I’ve got your back!” This dream happened the same night I had the dream about the Egyptian bracelet that reminded me of the famine. When I pondered the meaning of the dream, I knew that Jesus would take care of me in any difficult situation. It’s the same for all Christians–Jesus has your back.
It’s interesting because if we examine Joseph’s situation, he was put into a One World Leader kind of position. In fact, he had control of the ancient world’s only supply of food at that time.
“When all Egypt began to feel the famine, the people cried to Pharaoh for food. Then Pharaoh told all the Egyptians, “Go to Joseph and do what he tells you.” Genesis 41:55
Not only did the Egyptians come to buy food, but people from surrounding nations came as well. But at some point, people ran out of money. Pay attention to the details from Genesis 47:
“There was no food, however, in the whole region because the famine was severe; both Egypt and Canaan wasted away because of the famine. Joseph collected all the money that was to be found in Egypt and Canaan in payment for the grain they were buying, and he brought it to Pharaoh’s palace. When the money of the people of Egypt and Canaan was gone, all Egypt came to Joseph and said, ‘Give us food. Why should we die before your eyes? Our money is all gone.’
‘Then bring your livestock,’ said Joseph. ‘I will sell you food in exchange for your livestock, since your money is gone.’ So they brought their livestock to Joseph, and he gave them food in exchange for their horses, their sheep and goats, their cattle and donkeys. And he brought them through that year with food in exchange for all their livestock.
When that year was over, they came to him the following year and said, ‘We cannot hide from our lord the fact that since our money is gone and our livestock belongs to you, there is nothing left for our lord except our bodies and our land. Why should we perish before your eyes—we and our land as well? Buy us and our land in exchange for food, and we with our land will be in bondage to Pharaoh. Give us seed so that we may live and not die, and that the land may not become desolate.’
So Joseph bought all the land in Egypt for Pharaoh. The Egyptians, one and all, sold their fields, because the famine was too severe for them. The land became Pharaoh’s, and Joseph reduced the people to servitude, from one end of Egypt to the other. However, he did not buy the land of the priests, because they received a regular allotment from Pharaoh and had food enough from the allotment Pharaoh gave them. That is why they did not sell their land.
Joseph said to the people, ‘Now that I have bought you and your land today for Pharaoh, here is seed for you so you can plant the ground. But when the crop comes in, give a fifth of it to Pharaoh. The other four-fifths you may keep as seed for the fields and as food for yourselves and your households and your children.’
‘You have saved our lives,’ they said. ‘May we find favor in the eyes of our lord; we will be in bondage to Pharaoh.’
So Joseph established it as a law concerning land in Egypt—still in force today—that a fifth of the produce belongs to Pharaoh. It was only the land of the priests that did not become Pharaoh’s.”
If you read carefully, you probably notice that several important things happened concerning the economic status of the people. Firstly, they paid all their money to Joseph in order to buy grain. Second, when they ran out of money, they sold their livestock (their goods). When they ran out of livestock, they sold their own land, and offered themselves as servants. Thus, Pharaoh ended up with all of the people’s money, property and even their bodies.
This sounds a lot like a One World/globalist system doesn’t it?
Dr. David Jeremiah’s book The Coming Economic Armageddon describes it this way:
“You may have experienced conflicting reactions as you read the story of Joseph. On the one hand, you may have reacted positively to his ingenious plan for saving Egypt. On the other hand, you may have reacted negatively to his consolidation of power and wealth in the hands of the government while reducing the people to the status of serfs….his use of Egypt’s famine crisis to consolidate governmental power over the citizens seems to fly in the face of personal independence and freedom we believe to be a healthy alternative to tyranny.”
Though it may seem unfair and One-worldish of Joseph to do all this, we must remember that God specifically chose Joseph for this task. He was put in place at just the right time to save countless lives in Egypt, as well as Canaan. But more importantly, he was used to save the lives of Joseph’s family (his father, brothers and relatives). They would grow into a large population of God’s chosen people-the Hebrews. In addition, Joseph was a God-fearing leader who followed the Lord wholeheartedly. Unlike the One World globalist leaders of today, he had no lust for power or money. His goal was not “world domination.”
Joseph also must be judged based on the standards of the ancient times. In those days there was no welfare system and it was very common for relatives to buy land from relatives who were destitute. Family members would often be employed as servants, but in return they received food and shelter until they paid off their debt(s). In the same way, Joseph offered those who sold him land the opportunity to work on it to produce food. Even the price Joseph set was fair and low for the day. 1/5 or 20% was much lower than surrounding nations that charged between 40-60% of gross income.
Truthfully, what Joseph did was only possible because God was behind him the whole way. The end goal was to bring Joseph’s family into Egypt and for them to multiply and produce the Hebrew nation-the Israelites. Then hundreds of years later, God would perform a miracle so big that the Hebrews are still celebrating it today at Passover. The miracle of the Hebrews being delivered from Egypt, as well as the parting of the Red Sea, was a giant precursor to the biggest miracle that would ever happen! Jesus would be born from Hebrew descendants and become the Passover lamb who died on the cross for the sins of mankind. So Joseph was put in his royal position for a grand, life-saving reason.
Unfortunately, there are no Josephs of our time that could pull off what the real Joseph did in the Bible. The world leaders of today are not interested in feeding the world. In fact, though Joseph did well in his duties as “global leader,” the rulers who came after him took that same power and corrupted it. They used it for their own selfish gain. Keep in mind that what Joseph did was a temporary fix, but it foreshadows a time when Jesus will permanently provide bread for everyone on earth who receives him as the FOREVER RIGHTEOUS KING. This bread will never run out and it’s the only bread that will provide true sustenance.
The rulers of our current world are NOT righteous leaders like Joseph. In fact, most of them are not Christians, but are instead humanists and even supporters of transhumanism. They claim they want to end poverty and what they call “inequity.” But they are only interested in feeding themselves and lining their own pockets, while controlling the world. The food supplies are what these world leaders would most like to control because they know everyone has to eat. They also want to control everyone’s money. This is why many nations are proposing the idea of a Universal Basic Income (UBI). This income would be given to every adult, regardless of their employment status. For more info on UBI, read this information. But understand that a universal basic income could be used in times of financial crisis to keep everyone in check. Let’s say the food supply goes awry and things have to be rationed. Perhaps only those who have kept up with their vaccinations, or have maintained the proper “social order” will be given their money or rations from the government.
It was One-Worlder and corrupt financier David Rockefeller who said, “All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order.”
The world’s history shows a pattern for this kind of behavior and the Bible tells us it’s all heading in one direction.
A snapshot of history shows us that a financial crisis can have devastating consequences :
–The French Revolution began when the national government declared bankruptcy.
–The Soviet Union fell mostly because of the dramatic drop in oil revenues, which led to severe inflation.
–The Weimar Republic experienced severe hyperinflation and this led to the rise of Nazism in Germany.
–Severe economic woes in North Korea led to a complete totalitarian state under rulers like Kim Jung Un.
America is still holding on, but it’s the continual target of globalist leaders. The reason is simple: if America goes down, it will pull down the economies of the rest of the world.
The One World government is being set up, but it’s not a righteous government that will save many people like the days of Joseph. Instead, it’s one that will take the lives of millions while enforcing the mark of the beast. It will welcome famine, pestilence and tyranny in order to usher in a system of complete control.
Well, I hope I haven’t depressed anyone. This may sound hopeless, but it’s not! The Bible foretold all these things so we wouldn’t be surprised or afraid. As I’ve said before, Revelation is the only book in the Bible where God promises a blessing to those who read and take it to heart. Why is that? After all, isn’t this the book that’s full of plagues, fires, judgments and world disaster? Actually it’s the book that REVEALS the truth ahead of time. And here’s the good news! Jesus is coming back–first at the Rapture and then at the Second Coming. As we see the shadows of the One World Government that will eventually be ruled by the Antichrist, we must not hold our heads down in despair. Instead, we should look up because our redemption draws near–and I would venture to say that it’s very near.
In the meantime, if you see any cows, don’t get upset. Just remember that Jesus is the one who feeds us the bread of life and we can never lose that. Even if we don’t have food, we will never starve. Also, Jesus’ wings are always open wide and he will rescue us from this dark, famished world. Until then, stand firm in the faith and shout out from the nearest pasture that Jesus is Coming back–Hallelujah……or maybe you can just scream MOO…………
