The Wall Has Been Breached

July is considered the most patriotic month in America because we celebrate the birth of our nation on July 4th each year. This month actually coincides with an important time on the biblical calendar known as the 17th of Tammuzalso called the fast of Tammuz. Most Christians have never heard of this day because following the biblical calendar (Jewish/Hebrew calendar) doesn’t seem relevant, or perhaps many people don’t even know it exists. Yet understanding this time on the biblical calendar is crucial to discerning what’s playing out in our own nation, and around the world right now.

I’ve been studying the biblical calendar for over ten years now and at this point I’ve realized that while it’s good to know historical dates on the Gregorian calendar, it’s even more important to keep up with God’s calendar. Yes, the Hebrew/Jewish biblical calendar is the calendar God follows because he’s the one who created it. The Bible refers to this calendar, not the Gregorian calendar instituted by man. 

The 17th of Tammuz falls on July 16, 2022 this year– actually, it begins at sundown on July 15 and lasts all the way to sundown on July 16 because on the biblical calendar a new day begins and ends at sundown. I am actually posting this article on the 16th.

The date when the 17th of Tammuz occurs on the Gregorian calendar will vary from year to year, but generally it will fall in the month of July. For instance, in 2020 it occurred on July 9, but in 2019 it fell on July 20. In 2023, it will fall on July 6.

On this biblical date, Jews around the world will fast and pray as they commemorate the day when the walls of Jerusalem were breached. Actually, the walls were breached twice on this date in history. The Babylonians sacked Jerusalem in 586 B.C., but the same thing happened in 70 A.D. –this time, however, it was the Romans who did the destructive deed. So, the walls of Jerusalem were broken through on the same date on the biblical calendar (17th of Tammuz) in both years–that cannot be a coincidence.  

There are other things that happened on the 17th of Tammuz that stem from Rabbinic tradition. It is believed that on this date, Moses came down from the mountain with the Ten Commandments. He had been on the mountain for 40 days, but when he returned, he found the Israelites doing something quite atrocious. To his shock, they had set up a golden calf to worship. A very grieved Moses broke the tablets because of this grave sin. Interestingly enough, the breaking of the tablets was a foreshadowing of the breaking of the walls that would occur in the future by Israel’s enemies. In all instances, God’s trust had been breached and there would be consequences for Israel’s idolatrous behavior.

Another event may have happened on the 17th of Tammuz. According to Chabad.org,

“The ancient rabbinic chronology, Seder Olam Rabbah, tells us that on 10 Tammuz Noah dispatched the raven from the window of the ark, only to have the bird return. Seven days later, on 17 Tammuz, he sent out the dove, who also returned since he could find no terra firma on which to land. The dove was sent out again seven days later, and this time returned with an olive leaf in his beak.”

Still, other things happened on the 17th of Tammuz in Jerusalem. On July 15, 1099 (17th of Tammuz) a breach occurred once again, but this time it was during the First Holy Crusade, which was sanctioned by the Roman Catholic Church. At this time, they were trying to take back Jerusalem from the Muslims, who were also living amongst Jews. Because of this, the Jewish population living there took a direct hit and thousands were slaughtered. On the 17th of Tammuz, the walls of Jerusalem were breached and the crusaders made their way into the city.

Going back to the First Temple Period, the prophet Jeremiah explains what happened when the walls of the city were breached during his day. (Jeremiah 52:6-7)- The Babylonians invaded and eventually destroyed the Temple afterward.

“By the ninth day of the fourth month the famine in the city had become so severe that there was no food for the people to eat. Then the city wall was broken through, and the whole army fled. They left the city at night through the gate between the two walls near the king’s garden, though the Babylonians were surrounding the city. They fled toward the Arabah, but the Babylonian army pursued King Zedekiah and overtook him in the plains of Jericho. All his soldiers were separated from him and scattered, and he was captured.”

As you can see, the 17th of Tammuz is tied to the breaching of walls, borders, land, national security and also famine.

Interestingly enough, this date (17th of Tammuz) coincides with American Independence Day every 10 to 20 years. The last time this happened was in 2015. It began at sundown on July 4th on the Gregorian calendar. 

Was there anything special that happened in 2015? Well, this was actually a shemitah year (if you don’t know what that is, click on these links for more info). In biblical cycles, shemitah years are tied to a rising and falling of leaders, economies and kingdoms. The shemitah is known as the 7th year, or a sabbath year.

2001 and 2008 were also shemitah years. In 2001 the United States experienced a national tragedy known as 9-11 and in 2008 an economic crash occurred. In 2015 we did not see a plunge in the economy or national security as we saw in those years, but we did see the rise of a very different leader who would eventually become the President of the United States. His campaign, which began in 2015, would be one of the wildest in history! He announced his candidacy on June 16, 2015, which was less than a month before the 17th of Tammuz landed on July 4, 2015–Independence Day. Donald Trump broke through the swamp of Washington D.C. and a power shift took place as soon as he took office after the election of 2016.

Even more amazing is that in 1776 the 17th of Tammuz happened on July 4th. Of course, 1776 is the year our Declaration of Independence was written and established. That wonderful document let the British know they had breached the trust of the citizens in the colonies. These citizens would soon be building their own walls to keep the British out! British power fell that day like a giant wall that was blasted by a battering ram.

Of course, when we look at all this history, we know it’s no coincidence that these events took place at this time on the biblical calendar. After all, it’s God who sets these appointments and it’s his hand that allows kingdoms to rise and fall.  For Israel, when these “wall breachings” happened on the 17th of Tammuz, whether they knew it or not, God was speaking to them–  To those who were listening, it was a clear message. By using their own calendar, God was telling them they must return back to him and to the laws he created for his people.  

God still speaks to nations through his calendar. It would take me a hundred blogs to explain to you how this continues to play out in Israel’s history, as well as United States history.

Right now, we are in a shemitah year which began September 6, 2021 at sundown and will end on September 25, 2022 at sundown.

There is so much that has happened during this crazy shemitah year so far, but here’s just a few things:

As soon as the sun went down on July 15, the 17th of Tammuz began because a “new day/date” begins as the sun goes down each evening.   

I just listed the highlights, but that should be enough to show you that the shemitah year has been full of events that have shaken up our nation and world.

But now, let’s focus on what’s going on right now as the 17th of Tammuz is right at our door (July 16, 2022).

It is obvious that the ungodly globalists and Leftists are trying to breach the walls of our nation. Their goals are to take down the infrastructure of the United States such as the food supply, economy and military defenses. In addition, the Biden regime is supporting the division of God’s land- they are working towards creating a Palestinian state where Jerusalem would be divided. This dangerous breach will swiftly bring God’s judgment.

What I’m going to do is run through the critical areas that are being attacked right now so you can have a clear picture that America is under siege. The battering ram is the Satanic agenda that seeks to bring in a One World Government.

Attack on fuel:

The first area being attacked is fuel–particularly diesel engine fuel and its components. You may or may not be aware that there is a looming diesel fuel shortage that is hitting not only our nation, but the world. The war in Ukraine has fueled this crisis–with Russia threatening to cut off oil supplies to the world. The Biden Administration’s attack on pipelines and oil are also huge factors. Diesel prices continue to rise with each passing day.    

It’s very important to understand that diesel engines power the economy. They are used in long-haul trucks that carry food and other goods, as well as those which transport gasoline/fuel. Additionally, diesel fuel is needed for trains, boats, container ships, tractors, farming equipment, construction equipment (such as cranes and bulldozers), emergency response vehicles such as firetrucks/ambulances, and military vehicles. Also, companies like Amazon rely on diesel trucks to make their deliveries, as well as other businesses.

If there’s a big enough shortage of diesel engine fuel, or any of its components, the supply chain and the economy will cease to function, as well as the food system, emergency services, security infrastructure and transportation industries.

Let’s break this all down and look at one area at a time.

We will begin with TRAINS and how they affect the fuel, energy and food supply:

Trains are critical to the supply chain because they carry two products that are crucial to the energy grid, as well as the food supply–coal and fertilizer.

First and foremost, we must realize that most trains will not run without diesel. Actually, many trains run on both electrical power and diesel so they are referred to as hybrids.  As explained by the Mid-Continent Railway Museum, “The ignition of diesel fuel pushes the pistons connected to an electric generator. The resulting electricity powers motors connected to the wheels of the locomotive. A diesel internal combustion engine uses the heat generated from the compression of air during the upward cycles of the stroke to ignite the fuel.”

If trains cannot run because of a lack of diesel, there are huge ramifications. Let’s first talk about coal because trains transport lots and lots of this precious energy source. But, where does that coal go? It goes to powerplants. What do powerplants do? They supply electricity! So, if you have a short supply of diesel, you have a problem producing power- and of course, we need power for pretty much everything! 

Another crucial item that trains transport is fertilizer. Because of its sheer density and weight, this important commodity must be moved via trains.

In mid-April 2022, CF Industries Holdings (a leading global manufacturer of hydrogen and nitrogen products) told the customers it serves via the Union Pacific that railroad-mandated shipping reductions were leading to nitrogen fertilizer shipping delays, which would affect the spring season. As a result, “it would be unable to accept new rail sales involving the Union Pacific for the forseeable future.

The website states,

the rail lines serve key agricultural areas such as Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, Texas and California. Products that will be affected include nitrogen fertilizers such as urea and urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) as well as diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), an emissions control product required for diesel trucks. CF Industries is the largest producer of UAN and DEF in North America.”

President and Chief officer Tony Will warned, “Not only will fertilizer be delayed by these shipping restrictions, but additional fertilizer needed to compete spring applications may be unable to reach farmers at all. By placing this arbitrary restriction on just a handful of shippers, Union Pacific is jeopardizing farmers’ harvest and increasing the cost of food for consumers.”

Limiting the amount of fertilizer that can be shipped via railroad will cause problems for the farming industry. Famers aren’t planting as much, and in some cases they are paying  three times the price for fertilizer. These costs will most certainly be passed on to consumers.

Note that the above info mentions that Union Pacific will not just limit fertilizer, but also DEF or diesel emissions fluid. Actually, a dispute erupted between the Union Pacific Railroad and the Pilot/Flying J Corporation regarding DEF.

 Flying J “is the largest operator of travel centers in North America with more than 750 locations in 44 states and 6 Canadian provinces.” Additionally, it is one of the leading suppliers of fuel and DEF. Flying J gets a majority of its DEF via the Union Pacific Railroad. But Union Pacific has recently asked shippers with the highest impact on their network to reduce inventory. A meeting of the Surface Transportation Board was held in April 2022. Flying J was asked to cut shipments by 26%, as well as reduce other inventories by as much as 50%. CEO of Pilot/Flying J, Shameek Konar, testified at the meeting and said,

“Of the 300-plus million gallons of DEF Pilot supplies to the industry each year, 74% is moved via rail. Union Pacific’s restrictions will keep Pilot from keeping many markets adequately supplied with DEF, likely causing shortages that will sideline trucks and reduce trucking capacity. A single railcar carries 21,500 gallons of DEF on average. A single truck generally takes in seven gallons of DEF every time they fill. This implies that a single railcar is basically providing 3,000 trucks worth of DEF refills. Every railcar that gets missed in terms of DEF delivery will reduce trucking potential by five million miles.” 

Konar also stated, “It’s an absolute disaster. Trucking is so tight, we’re already having freight problems. It will hurt our supply chains at a time we cannot afford it. We want to be part of the solution, but the current situation is untenable for us.”

As this problem continues, we could see truckers sidelined because they can’t get the fuel or DEF they need for their trucks.

Adding even more fuel to the fire, there is the possibility that railroad employees will go on strike.  Members of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen have authorized a strike — a move that could come as soon as Monday, July 18.

“The union — which represents more than 57,000 U.S. rail employees — reports 99.5% of its members voted to authorize a strike if such an action becomes legal and ‘necessary to secure a contract worthy of their consideration,’ BLET National President Dennis Pierce said in a statement issued Tuesday. It was the union’s first nationwide strike vote since 2011.” 

They are calling on Joe Biden to intervene through a Presidential Emergency Board to investigate the dispute and make recommendations for a settlement.  Hmm…Good luck with that one!!!!!

Now let’s move on to the issue of boats and container ships

Like trains, diesel is needed to fuel boats and container ships that haul massive loads of cargo containing food and consumer goods traveling to the United States and other countries. Just how much diesel fuel do these large container ships consume? Well, let’s look at the largest container ship in the world–the Emma Maersk. Housing a three-story diesel engine, this massive ship uses 1,600 gallons of diesel fuel every hour! Though not all container ships use diesel, there are a large number that do so you can imagine the amount of diesel being consumed on a day-to-day basis! Another very large container ship is the CMA CGM Benjamin Franklin, which carries 4.5 million gallons of fuel. In comparison, a smaller container ship can consume up to 63,000 gallons of fuel per day, depending on its speed.

These ships move approximately 90% of all globally traded goods, including medicine, smartphones, food, fuel and even livestock. There are over 90,000 container ships, oil tankers, bulk carriers and other ships that are traversing the world’s waterways, delivering up to 10.3 billion tons of goods.

So, what happens when there’s not enough diesel fuel or other components such as oil and fuel additives for these giant container ships? Well, the answer is obvious–cargo doesn’t move and if cargo doesn’t move, then that means food, medicine and other vital goods do not get to distribution centers and stores.

The price of diesel fuel and oil are already high and have the potential to increase to astronomical levels. According to JP Morgan, oil could go as high as $380 per barrel. Diesel engine oil additives are in short supply as well. Many companies have declared a force majeure when it comes to producing chemicals that go into diesel engine oil (such as rust inhibitors, anti-corrosion, anti-foaming agents). This means they simply cannot produce these items. Many of these items will not be in supply again until 2023.

Additionally, it’s not just diesel fuel, but also diesel engine oil that’s in short supply right now. An 18-wheeler truck on average has to change its oil once every 10 weeks, or every 25,000 miles. So, what happens if there’s no oil to do these oil changes? All diesel engines require three things to operate: diesel fuel, diesel engine oil and diesel emissions fluid (DEF).

I could go into the problems that a shortage of diesel oil/fuel would cause for farmers as well, but you can figure that one out. If you can’t run your tractor, you can’t farm your land. Well, if you own some oxen, or you are Amish, you can make do, but unfortunately the bulk of our farmers do not fit this bill. 

Recently South Dakota governor Kristi Noem blasted Joe Biden for creating “one massive national security issue” regarding America’s Food Supply.

“Our food supply is our national security policy. It just is. For years, I’ve been watching foreign countries, other entities that are not friends of the United States, buy up our fertilizer companies, our chemical companies, our processing systems, and those entities,” she told Newsmax.  ”Now we see other people buying hundreds of thousands of acres of land; and, listen, many times it is foreign entities in some of these states as well. So, we have countries like China that own all these different pieces, and they’re not dummies,” she continued.

“They know that when they control our food supply, they control us. So this is a national security policy issue that the American people need to be aware of…We’ve always had in the United States of America a priority of keeping safe and affordable food supply that’s diversified, so one person or one country doesn’t control it. We are losing that. We’re losing that on Joe Biden’s watch, and it is a concern for us, our country, and for those families out there that are looking to feed their kids every week when they go to the grocery store,” she boldly stated.

And let’s think about our emergency responders, contractors and military who drive emergency vehicles, construction machines and military vehicles. Without diesel, people will be waiting for transportation to the hospital. Buildings will not get built. And how can we fight a war against invaders? Wars cannot be fought without vehicles to transport soldiers and equipment–at least not very well.

The Attack on our Truckers

As you’ve already read above, truckers are being affected by the shortage of diesel fuel and DEF. But here’s something else that will be a major problem for California’s truckers. There’s a new law called AB-5 which could take over 70,000 independent truckers off the roads-  these trucks can no longer export goods out of California.

According to Landline Now

AB5 makes it more difficult for a worker to be considered an independent contractor. Many in the trucking industry, including the California Trucking Association and the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, said the law would force the end of the owner-operator model in the state. The B prong of the test appears to make it nearly impossible for a leased-on truck driver to be considered an independent contractor.”

This law goes into effect at the worst time possible, when food supply shortages are looming. If these truckers can’t meet the requirements, they will not be able to transport food and supplies. Perhaps other truckers can try to pick up the slack, but that’s a lot of slack to make up for! Even if they do, it would take much longer to transport these goods to the places they need to go.

This issue could affect the entire country because California provides about 30% of the food that America eats (from the Central Valley). With less truckers to carry loads, what happens to all the pallets of goods that come into the ports of Long Beach, Los Angeles and all along the California coast? – How will those pallets of goods from the container ships get to where they need to go?

This all stems from the global government’s desire to take down Western civilization and install their own system of order. Their “go green” agenda is nothing more than a coup to deceive the population into believing that fossil fuels are evil and only green energy is good. They are purposely using the Ukraine war as a way to push their agenda forward. Not only this, they are jumping ahead of the game by insisting everyone cuts out fossil fuels immediately.

It’s a fantasy to think we can all just “go green” and switch to using windmills, solar power and electricity in a matter of years. There’s not enough batteries to go around and they do not have the amount of energy we would need to run our grid.  For instance, the car batteries we currently have cannot create the amount of power that would be needed to run the world we live in. We aren’t like Doc Brown from Back to the Future who put garbage in Mr. Fusion to power his flying car!  Our power grid can’t handle everyone charging their cars electrically because right now the grids are already at their limits. There are even governors such as Jay Inslee of Washington who are  ordering their citizens to prepare for a summer of “blackouts, destruction and death.”  Yet, ironically or purposefully, he’s also shutting down 4 hydroelectric dams in the state of Washington which will greatly reduce the amount of usable electricity. Go figure! You can spot the agenda when these leaders contradict themselves.

But now let’s look at the one of the biggest boulders being catapulted by the globalist battering ram. Like the enemies of Israel, who relentlessly attacked Jerusalem until they broke the wall, these One Worlders and their accomplices will not stop until they can remove the obstacles in their path.

The Attack on our Oil Refineries

The Freeport liquid natural gas facility in Texas experienced an explosion in June. This is one of America’s largest liquid natural gas facilities.

Natural gas is used in power plants to generate electricity or power. It is also used in the industrial sector for heating and power, as well as a raw material to produce chemicals, fertilizer and hydrogen. The residential sector uses it to heat buildings and water, as well as for cooking and drying clothes. About half of the homes in the U.S. use natural gas for space and water heating. The commercial sector uses it to heat buildings and water, as well as to operate refrigerators, cooking equipment, to dry clothes, and for outdoor lighting. The transportation sector uses it to operate compressors that transport natural gas through pipelines. It’s also used as a vehicle fuel when in the form of compressed natural gas and liquified natural gas. These are mainly government and private vehicle fleets. The five largest natural gas consuming states are : Florida, Texas, California, Louisiana and Pennsylvania.

The reason I told you all of the above is so you see how these refinery fires can cause serious problems to our infrastructure. Actually, the Freeport facility explosion will not just affect U.S. supplies, but also Europe’s because they export to them as well.

On a side note, this explosion happened at 11:40 a.m. The Titanic hit the iceberg at 11:40 p.m- just saying! Anyway, was this explosion and accident or sabotage? I’m going with sabotage or battering ram. And why do I say that? Well, this plant was supposed to be able to continue operating three weeks after the explosion but guess what? They’ve been told they are not able to repair or restart their operations until they address certain “safety risks.” This will take 90-120 days to analyze and correct. In the meantime, they won’t be refining any natural gas, making the shortages grow around the country and in Europe.

If that weren’t enough, another refinery explosion happened recently at a liquid natural gas plant in Medford, Oklahoma. This affects the United States supply more than the Freeport facility because their product is not exported to Europe and other countries, but rather is sent to U.S. states.

On another note, the EPA is targeting the Permian Basin oil field, which produces 25% of the domestic oil supply in United States. What’s their reasoning? They say it needs to be shut down because of ozone emissions. Of course, that’s all a load of green baloney. It’s just another boulder being launched at our oil supply.

The Attack on our Oil Reserves

Joe Biden is sending our emergency oil reserves to China and other Asian nations while at the same time shutting down the domestic supply of oil in the United States and shutting down pipelines. According to Reuters, more than 5 million barrels have been exported to Europe and Asia in just the past month. How crazy is it that we are selling America’s oil to an enemy like China who engineered the Covid virus and wants to take over the world!

Energy.gov gives the details of this sale:

WASHINGTON, D.C.—”The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM) today announced an additional Notice of Sale of up to 40.1 million barrels of crude oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR). This Notice of Sale is part of President Biden’s announcement on March 31, 2022, to release one million barrels of crude oil a day for six months to address the significant global supply disruption caused by Putin’s war on Ukraine and help stabilize volatile energy costs for American families.”  

In accordance with the President’s announcement, 90 million barrels will be released between May and August through two notices of sale totaling 70 million barrels and 20 million barrels from ongoing emergency sales. DOE has been executing on this announcement releasing oil from the Reserve at approximately that rate over the last several weeks.”

Well, I wonder what we will do when our own country needs oil? 

France’s economic minister just said that he believes Russia is going to cut off all oil and gas very soon.

Speaking at the economic forum Les Rencontres Économiques in southern France, Bruno Le Maire said: “Let’s get ready for a total shutdown of the Russian gas supply,” he said. “This is the most likely event.”

He has called for France to “quickly invest in energy sources such as biogas and nuclear technologies in order to become independent of Russian energy.”

Hey, newsflash for you Pierre, or should I say Pepe Le Pew!!! It’s a little late for that! What are you going to do–wiggle your nose like Samantha from Bewitched and POOF you will have energy at your fingertips????

So let’s figure this one out– if we keep selling our oil reserves and Russia stops exporting theirs, I wonder what will happen????????? A gigantic rock is flying through the air and it’s going to land somewhere. Where do you think that will be??????????????

I could go on and on with these attacks that are meant to breach our walls. But I’ll stop here.

Getting back to the Temple and how this relates to the 17th of Tammuz…

On  April 14, 70 AD, (during Passover), Titus of Rome laid siege to Jerusalem- interestingly enough, the Titanic hit an iceberg on April 14, 1912.  

During the Second Temple siege, the Romans encircled the city with an eight- kilometer long wall of their own to cut off supplies to the Jews who were living inside Jerusalem. Their goal– to drive the Jews to starvation. Their plan worked. They eventually were able to break down the walls and come into the city. Later, they would destroy the Temple.

Early Church History.org writes,

“…Caesar gave orders that (the army) should now demolish the entire city and Temple….(Jerusalem) was so thoroughly laid even with the ground by those that dug it up to the foundation, that there was left nothing to make those that came there believe (the city) had ever been inhabited….Nor had anyone who had known the place before, had come on a sudden to it now, would he have known it again.” Josephus, Wars of the Jews 7.1.1.”

The globalists who are being used by Satan are trying to wield a powerful weapon–food and energy. They know that hungry people will do almost anything.

I’m not trying to scare you. But, at the same time I feel it’s important that you are thoroughly informed. Why? – so you can pray and prepare.

By this I mean that you should seek Jesus about how you should personally respond to this information. For me, I’m not worried because the Lord has constantly reminded me that no matter what happens, he will provide (see this link for a cool story about this). Also, it may be a good idea to stock some extra food and supplies. How much is up to you. Pray about it and decide. I’m not saying to become a doomsday prepper. Just make some arrangements if you can.

Honestly, I know that as these things take place, we are getting closer and closer to Jesus’ return. This is what I focus on. My main priority is getting people to Jesus. If you have friends or family who don’t know Jesus, now is the time to talk to them. Don’t wait- today is the day of salvation. The clock is ticking and before long, time will run out. Talk to the lost NOW! 

The other day I was working out at the YMCA. As I was pedaling on the exercise bike, I thought about the Titanic and how most people on board had no idea the ship was going to sink. I was reminded of the fact that if only they knew, they wouldn’t have boarded that doomed ship. Then, I turned to my left and do you know what I saw? There was a guy on the treadmill wearing a Captain’s hat! It looked just like the one Captain Smith wore when he was on the Titanic. I thought that was one crazy coincidence. The guy was working out in his Captain’s hat! Who does that? Anyway, that “coincidence” just solidified the idea that I need to help get people into the lifeboats as soon as possible. As you probably know, Titanic did not have enough lifeboats and worse yet, most of the lifeboats were not filled to capacity–some were only half-full.

A month before this, something else happened that reminded me where my focus needed to be. I was praying near my bed–kneeling on the floor. I silently prayed that Jesus would remind me of the promise of his return. I told Jesus that I would love to be encouraged by him and I would definitely share that encouragement. After the prayer I went to visit someone for a few hours. When I returned home, I went into my room and saw something interesting.  My favorite picture of Jesus was in the exact spot where I had been kneeling and praying earlier. It had fallen off the wall and broken. The words on the picture say: “The Son of God…sent to lead us home to Our Father.”

I am not sure how the picture fell because it was firmly secured to the wall. I asked my husband about it and he said he had no idea why it fell.

When I saw the picture on the floor I felt a quickening in my spirit that was saying–Jesus is coming back soon to get his bride. Think about the words on the broken picture- The Son of God…SENT TO LEAD US HOME TO OUR FATHER.” I thought of John 14:1-4 which describes the Galilean Jewish wedding. 

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.  You know the way to the place where I am going.”

Jesus–the groom–has gone to his Father’s House to prepare a place for his Bride. He will come back to get his Bride and take her to that special home prepared in heaven.

While pondering these ideas, I looked up at my jewelry armoire. I realized that as the Jesus picture fell, it must have hit the top of the armoire. Interestingly enough, I keep a 20 dollar bill on top of the armoire because last year I went to the bank and one of the bills I got back from the teller had been stamped with JESUS CHRIST IS LORD. From then on, I put the bill on my jewelry armoire to remind me that Jesus is Lord over the economy and anything that happens to it. Anyway, the picture hit the bill on its way down, as well as my Noah’s Ark bracelet. I also had a little airplane charm on top as a reminder that one day Jesus will “fly” us to heaven. The plane had been knocked all the way off the bill.

I cherished all of this in my heart as I realized that Jesus is coming back for his Bride at the Rapture. Even if the economy collapses, at some point he will come to the rescue. He is Lord over the economy, the food supply and everything in this world.

The truth is that we are in the wilderness right now and the enemy is lurking around every corner. But that just means we need to stay on guard for all his tricks. My friend sent me this cool picture of a hawk on a road sign that says Wilderness Drive.

Notice that the hawk isn’t flinching. He isn’t flying away–but he’s watching. And that’s what we need to be doing as the Bride of Christ. Let’s keep our eyes open not just for the enemy, but for the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A few weeks from now it will be Tisha B Av-(August 6th and 7th, 2022)– the time on the biblical calendar when the Temples were finally destroyed (after the walls were breached)
